TOPIC: THE OUTPUT OF YOUR HEART 3: Don’t Cause Others Bitterness
MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 4:23.
“23. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
BIBLE READING;
Ephesians Cause
” 31. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
Yesterday, we discussed how we caused ourselves bitterness. It was made known that, bitterness is traceable to negative thought going on within us, it’s self generated and you can choose to do away with it. Today, we are seeing how bitterness can come through others and I want each and everyone of us to check through if we are not the cause of Bitterness to others.
We can be the reason for other’s bitterness. Generally, when you mock people with their cry to God, for instance, when you mock an awaiting mother, mocking those who ask you for help, exposing other secret entrusted with you, talking people down and more, it’s in a way causing bitterness for others. As a man who kept beating, abusing his wife, calling her printed names, you’ve created a space for bitterness in her. Flirting around with ladies at the expense of your marriage. As a woman who nag and trodding a man down for lack of job, comparing him with your friends hubby, the man has been filled with bitterness. Lover boys and lover girls, jilting them after promises unfulfilled, it’s a wound with many years to heal. As a boss who deny promotions because they refuse to dance to your ugly beat, it’s bitterness. When you do to others what you never wish to experience in life, someone is experiencing a bitterness, it’s high time to stop breaking and destroying people’s heart everywhere. Any heart with bitterness will hardly achieve anything meaningful, may you not be reasons why others will not be fulfilled in life. If you find yourself in this shoe, it’s not too late to reconcile with them, to correct and redirect your steps because God rewards us all for every of our seeds to others and the reward of God is always far greater than what we sow. Sit back and check what you’ve impacted on others if it’s bitterness or happiness.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
