TOPIC: PRESENT YOUR CV 5: Worship Him First

Memory Verse: Isa. 41:21
“Present your case,” says the LORD. “Bring forth your strong reasons,” says the King of Jacob.”

Bible Reading: 1Kings 3:4-5, 9-10.
“4 Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.  5 At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a  dream by night; and God said, “Ask! What shall I  give you?” ….
9 Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”
10 The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
Our approach to God matters when presenting our CV to Him. How we behave and deliver our request goes a long way in determining our result. The third Captain and His Fifty men, in the book of Kings, presented his request differently to Prophet Elijah and his presentation rescued their lives and cause God to speak to Elijah to go the King. How have you been presenting your CV to God?
King Solomon needed to make some request from God after He was sworn in as the King of Israel. He would have visited the temple like his father and present His request, but the scripture said, he went to the great High place in Gibeon to sacrifice thousands burnt offering, still, he never presented any request. This CV invited God to visit him in the dream and asked what He wanted. How do you present your CV to God? With complain, grumbling or blaming Him for all your life mistakes?
“4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,  And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. Ps. 100:4.
Present your CV with thanksgiving no matter the situation around. He preferred to be Praise than to be grumbled at. Present your CV rightly with Praise.
