TOPIC: PRESENT IT BEFORE GOD 7: Ask In Jesus Name
MEMORY VERSE:
Isaiah 1:18
18 “Come now, let’s settle this,” says the lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.
BIBLE READING:
John 14:12-15
12. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
We have discussed on the various ways to access God directly without depending on the connections of your Pastors, Priest, Bishop, Evangelist and other leaders, but going directly to God. The medium makes you unfold all that’s in your heart and hastened the result of our request from God. But all these point can’t be possible without the name of Jesus which is the key to accessing God himself. Apostle Paul speaking to the Phillipians said,
“9. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:9-11.
At the name of Jesus we have access to God to subdue everything we are displeased with. Jesus said, In my name you will have everything you ask for from the Father. Jesus is no more on earth (physically) but His name is still the access to the father’s heart. Without the name, you have no access to God. No matter what your request and relationship with God may be, the name Jesus is the key to receiving from God. The name has authority, it reminds God of the sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf, it also remind God of Jesus humility, so God answers to the Name Jesus when those who loved Him called him. With the name Jesus, you have access to the Heart of God. Pray in Jesus name always.
