TOPIC: IN THE WILDERNESS 11: Leaders Can Be Changed
Memory Verse: Is. 43:18
“19 … I will even make a road in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert.”
Bible Reading: Joshua 1:1:3
“1 After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying:
2 “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.”
God changes everything but He, Himself, can’t be changed, He remains constant. He changes helpers at will. He changes channels of blessing. He changes ways because He has different purposes for everything and everyone. In the wilderness of life, God can decide to change the instrument He uses to lead you. He can replace that soul with a better or more rugged one, but that doesn’t change the place of wilderness. God can change the instrument leading you for many reasons such as: age, unfaithfulness, over familiarity with the leader, sin from the leader and/or fulfillment of his/her assignment to you, but get this, it’s going to work together for your good. That your mentor, parent or helper died while you are still in the wilderness doesn’t mean that’s the end, it’s signifies a new beginning in your journey. Don’t just give up, be sensitive to recognise the next leader, helper, mentor or boss to lead you through that wilderness. Moses was old, couple with the fact that, God said he wouldn’t enter the promise land, so God raised another leader in the place of Joshua. God can’t leave you stranded in that wilderness, He will always raise a replacement for you to get to your promise land. Be alert to recognise the next vessel for your next stage. God bless you.
Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all the celebrants of the day and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today, May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
