TOPIC: God is Present 2: God Is Our Strength
MEMORY VERSE:
Psa 46:1.
God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
BIBLE READING:
1 Sam 2:9
He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
We are all limited when it comes to strength outside God. We always feel we can do this, we can do that, and we don’t need God but the truth is this, whatever strength we think we possess, God is the brain behind it. That was why Prophet Samuel said, “By strength shall no man prevail”. If the Lord hasn’t been our strength we would have been drained up by now, but God has been our strength. Why do you lay down at night weak and regain your strength in the morning? You said you slept and rested over the night, do you know countless of men and women who rested all through night and day without recovery from pains and weaknesses?
Job said,
Job 6:11-12
“11 What is my strength, that I should hope? and what is mine end, that I should prolong my life?
12 Is my strength the strength of stones? or is my flesh of brass?”
He declared that he has no strength of his own despite walking with God faithfully and God boasted of him to the devil, how much more we that are struggling to be perfect with God? God is our Refuge and the only strength we need to overcome the world and stand firm.
David said in Ps. 27:1,
“1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
The strength of our life is God, we can do nothing without His strength. I pray with you this morning, The Lord will strengthen you from within, your strength is renewed for the week and beyond in Jesus Mighty Name, everything sapping up your strength is blocked in Jesus name, by His strength this week, we will prevail in Jesus Precious Name, Amen. Go in the strength of God.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
