TOPIC: FATHER, I NEED YOU MORE 1: Be Thirsty For Him.

John 15:5.
“5. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Psalms 42:1.
“1. As the deer panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
Worship Song.
As the deer panted for,
The water so my soul,
Longeth after thee,
You alone art my heart,
Desires so I long,
To worship you.
You are alone art my Strength and shield,
To you alone, make my spirit live,
You alone art my heart,
Desires so I long,
To worship you.
How thirsty are you for God? Do you still long for Him like before? Haven’t you given up on Him and dependent on your strength? When last did you seek His face deeper? When was the last time you have a quiet time with God? When did you seek His will for your life? How thirsty are you for God?
David confesses His desire to God, how he longs for God regardless of His walk with Him. He made it known to God how desperate He needed Him. May I tell you today that, enough of doing things your way. Enough of living a life of chance or “Anyhow”, it’s time to long for Him concerning all your desires. To cry for Him to take charge of your life. What have you gained without Him? What has been your achievement since you put Him away? Do we really have the peace of mind? It’s time to cry to Him and say, Father, I need you. I long for you, fill my thirsty heart today. May we find our path back to Him in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
