Week 4, Day 4:
Wednesday, 24th January, 2024.

TOPIC: ASKING QUESTIONS NOT JUST PRAYING? Rebecca Ask Questions (4).

MEMORY VERSE:
Isaiah 1:18.
“18. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 25:22-23.
“22. And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.
23. And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.”
The God who is always ready to respond to all request will today grant responses to all our inquiries in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Today, our focus will be shifting to Rebecca, the wife of Isaac and mother of Jacob. It’s a familiar story to us, how she waited on God for children. The scripture said her husband prayed to God on her behalf and the Lord heard him and she became pregnant.
But she started experiencing some inconveniences within her, this time around she didn’t need to pray but make enquiry of what was happening within her.
‘and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.”
Situations staring at us most times need questioning especially when they are not supposed to be. Why the delay and what’s the way out? She has never heard of someone giving birth to two children at once so she needed enlightenment. Likewise, most times we need to be enlightened in order to know the next step to take. Information is what leads to reformation. It’s time to ask questions about long standing challenges around our lives.  Here 33:3 says,
“3. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
He is ready to show us the sources of that situation so we can pray rightly, know where to face with our prayer and stop praying amiss. Start making enquires as the Lord is waiting to respond to us.
Good Day and God bless you.

Week 4, Day 3:
Tuesday, 23rd January, 2024.

TOPIC: ASKING QUESTIONS NOT JUST PRAYING? David’s Ask In Tears (3).

MEMORY VERSE:
Isaiah 1:18.
“18. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 30:7-8.
“7. And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.
8. And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.”
Today, as we step out, the light of the Lord shall shine on every Dark situations around our lives in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Another clear example of David asking God instead of praying was when the Amalekite raided his camp in Ziklag. It was a bad situation when one can’t start praying. The Priest, who should have seek God’s intervention was lost in tears, the men of war were on David’s neck because of their families, none could think of anything else to do except David. The scripture said,
“… but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. 1 Samuel 30:6 “
Not in prayers this time around but to ask God specific questions,
“… Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.”
God never hesitated in answering him, but gave him the clear assurance of recovering all. Go to God directly today and make inquiries. Table those prayer points before Him as questions. Encourage yourself in that helpless situation and ask Him specific questions like David did. Not to that Man of God but to God because everyone has questions to ask God. He is 100% available to respond to those confusing situations. Rise to ask God questions and wait for His response.
Good Day and God bless you.

Monday, 22nd January, 2024.

TOPIC: ASKING QUESTIONS NOT JUST PRAYING? David’s Case, Without Aggressiveness (2).

MEMORY VERSE:
Isaiah 1:18.
“18. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Samuel 21:2-3.
2. And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; …
3. Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD?
Today, as we go out for our daily living, Favour before men and God shall preceed us in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Time to Ask Questions and not praying. I’ll like to remind us who David was in this story;
1. He was a man after God’s heart, very close to God of all.
2. He was the reigning King as at then, who reigned over the Gibeonites. King David would have used his veto power and dictate what he wanted from the Gibeonites but instead, He ask questions, “What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD?”
Not all situation needs prayers or quarrelling, you just need to ask questions, what do you want me to do to be free from this curse? Ask questions. Many marriages going through turbulent times just need questions not fighting your spouse’s fornicator. Some situations don’t need prayers, you just need to seek answers from God and men. The Gibeonites responded to David’s question and David did as they requested and the famine ended. What is the situation that burdens your heart, that you’ve been praying over for years? It’s time to seek for answers and identify the reason, don’t just fast and pray, be wise to ask questions.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: ASKING QUESTIONS NOT JUST PRAYING? David’s Case (1).

MEMORY VERSE:
Isaiah 1:18.
“18. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Samuel 21:1.
“1. Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites.”
Welcome to another beautiful week filled with God’s spiritual blessing in all ramification, may the Lord grant us the grace to meet up with His expectations for our lives in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
This week, we shall focus on the topic, “Asking Questions Not Just Prayer”. God shall be revealing to us that not all situations needs prayers but asking questions. Today, we will start with King David. From our Bible Reading, there was famine in the land for over three years in the days of King David, I don’t want to believe that David didn’t prayed and fasted about it without any changes. Until He went to God to make enquiry, “Father, what’s the real cause of this famine, what really happened?” And God responded, “And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites”.
David needed not to bother God any more He went for solutions by calling on the Gibeonite to find the solution. Most times God is not waiting for our prayers but waiting for our questions, that was why He said, “Come, let’s reason together”. There are time to ask question, “Daddy, why is this happening to me? Why am I going through this situation? Some of us need to sit down and think on where things went wrong not just fasting for forty (40) days and forty (40) nights but ask questions. I’m glad to tell you this morning, that God is waiting for our question not just prayers. Ask Him questions.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: STEPS TO ACCESSING MIRACLE: Access Your Miracle (7)

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 11:28.
“28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

BIBLE READING:
Matthew 9:25.
“25. But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.”
This weekend, your testimony shall be perfected, that desires of yours shall be release, you’ve waited enough, you shall eat the fruit of your labour, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
The ruler later enjoyed his miracle all because he followed Jesus to the latter. Many started but couldn’t get the miracle because they quitted along the way. Jesus entered the ruler’s house, brought back the girl to life according to the word of her father when he said,
“…, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.”
Can you see our starting point is what determines our ending point? What is your starting point with God? Are we ready to go with the necessary steps to make the miracle a reality? That Miracle is possible, that desire is realistic if we will pay the price to take the necessary steps. If you won’t quit you will get it. I pray one more time, that miracle will be harvested in your life in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: STEPS TO ACCESSING MIRACLE: Believe His Instructions, Give Him Room (6)

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 11:28.
“28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

BIBLE READING:
Matthew 9:24-25.
“24. He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.
25. But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
It’s the beginning of the weekend, our hope will not be defeated in Jesus name, Amen.
For every miracle to be real in our lives, there’s always an instructions for us to carry out, God won’t perfect our miracle 100% without our contribution. For that miracle your are expecting from Him, there’s an instruction for you to carry out. You can’t be praying for a child and then refuse to perform your duty with you spouse. That is why Jesus will always tell the blind man, go and wash, show your self to the priest, you must be part of your miracle.
When Jesus got to the ruler’s house He instructed the sympathizer to give way, this is an instruction to the ruler, to send away every distraction, hindrances and discouragement. Until this was done, Jesus couldn’t access the place where the child was laid. What is that instruction you need to carry out for God to perform that miracle? What’s your duty to activate that long time breakthrough of yours? It’s time you act. Many delayed their miracle by leaving everything to God to do which shouldn”t be. You are to be involved if you will see changes in your life.

TOPIC: STEPS TO ACCESSING MIRACLE: Neglect Proofs of Impossible (5)

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 11:28.
“28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

BIBLE READING:
Matthew 9:23-24.
“23. And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,
24. He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.”
The Lord whom we serve will turn those reproaching situations around for us today, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Our next topic today says, “Neglect every Proofs of Impossibility”. For every purpose in life that will end with testimony, impossibility is always written on it boldly. Proofs of failures, rejection, depression of one’s goal can’t stop what God has ordained. When the brothers of Joseph sold him out to the Midianites, it was a proof of a truncated dreams to his brother but to Joseph, it wasn’t, Genesis 37.
When Jesus got to the rulers home, he found the sympathizer, a proof that the girl is dead, very glaring but the girl’s father knew what Jesus was up to. It’s time to neglect those proofs of failure, reproach and hold on to God for His intervention. It is a season where you hold to your faith in answers to your prayers. Stop accepting all sympathizer of negativity, look up to Jesus the author and the finisher of your faith who is able to turn things around. Reject sympathy and embrace celebration in the making.

Week 3, Day 4:
Wednesday, 17th January, 2024.

TOPIC: STEPS TO ACCESSING MIRACLE: Be Encouraged not Discouraged (4)

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 11:28.
“28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

BIBLE READING:
Matthew 9:20-22.
“20. And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
21. For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.”
As today becomes brighter, so will our glory keep glowing in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
In life, while waiting on God for response to our requests, we may see the hand of God upon other’s life, hearing of their testimonies and answers to prayers, this shouldn’t be affect you, it’s not a race to compete with but see it as an assurance that, if God can do this, He will do mine. If someone gets his/her testimony, my case will also end in testimony. Many believers who are new converts, new members or new employees may enjoy promotions or breakthrough while you’re still waiting on God, it’s not a time to be discouraged, it a ‘Faith-ing’ time.
Just imagine the ruler taking Jesus to His home and the woman with the issue of blood stole the show, received an instant Miracle when the invitee of Jesus was yet to get his, but this never depressed him. Celebrate with those God has answered for He’s on the verge of turning your sorrow to gladness also. Don’t be depressed with others breakthrough, God is on His way to give life to dead issues, rejoice with those rejoicing. Say it loud, “If this is possible for him/her, my case is settled with Jesus on my way home. Keep the faith on. Walk Jesus to your home.

Week 3, Day 3:
Tuesday, 16th January, 2024.

TOPIC: STEPS TO ACCESSING MIRACLE: Keep Speaking He’s With You (3)

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 11:28.
“28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

BIBLE READING:
Matthew 9:19.
“19. And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.”
Today, shame shall not be our portion everywhere we turn to in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Brethren, as we continue our study on “Steps to Accessing Miracle”, we started by saying, “Worship God” regardless of the situation and “Declare your Faith” not your fears and troubles. Today, our focus says, “Keep Speaking, He’s Moving With You”. When we declare our faith (what we know and believe He can do) to Jesus, all we need to do next is to keep speaking to Him because He’s already walking and working with us. Can you imagine Jesus and His disciples walking with the ruler and having discussion? Discussions like;
Jesus: “How do you know I can do this?”
Ruler: “I Have heard of other healings and Miracles you’ve been doing, so I know you can do this also.”
Disciples: But you said the girl is dead not that she’s sick?”
Ruler: Yes, if Jesus can heal the sick, then He can raise the dead too, and that is why He is going with me.
Imagine how Jesus will be feeling with this discussion. He will be like; “Father prove yourself to this ruler, His faith is strong.”
Keep speaking to God about what you know He can and will do about that challenge. Your faith as He walks with you is what motivates Him to act more. Don’t speak once and start confessing negatively about the situation, speak positively. Let Him know you believe totally in Him. Follow Him gradually till He achieve that desire of your heart. He is with you listening to your discussions.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: STEPS TO ACCESSING MIRACLE: Declare Your Faith to Him (2)

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 11:28.
“28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

BIBLE READING:
Matthew 9:18.
“18. While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: BUT COME AND LAY THY HAND UPON HER, AND SHE SHALL LIVE.
This week shall be a fruitful week, result oriented, free from evil and a week of open doors in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
The next step to miracle after worshipping the Father is to let Him know your faith about the situation you’re in. Present the challenges distracting your mind to Him and declare your faith about it. Most times we go to God with our situations without letting Him know what we really want from Him. We complain, lament and wail without declaring our Faith about the situation to Him.
The ruler worshipped Jesus and declared the situation steering at him which is the death of her daughter but quickly reminded Jesus what He can do about it, “My daughter is even now dead: BUT COME AND LAY THY HAND UPON HER, AND SHE SHALL LIVE.” In a nutshell, Lord Jesus i’m having issue with my home, my work, I believe you never planned it for me to be jobless, that my marriage shouldn’t work, I invite you to restore peace in my marriage, lead me to my predestined Job. Confess what you know He can do with the situation. The ruler didn’t bother Jesus about the cause of the death or what people are saying, he only told Jesus what He needed Him to do and Jesus went with him. Declare your faith not your fears about that situation. Tell Him what you know He can do and see Him do it.
