TOPIC: PEACE OVER OUR JERUSALEM 5: Father, Lead Our Leaders.
MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 122:6-9.
6. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
BIBLE READING:
Proverbs 21:1-2
1. The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
2. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.
No leader leads without God’s awareness according to, Romans 13:1, which says,
“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” Everyone in the post of leadership are known by God, either good or evil. Which ever way, God have them as an instrument in His hand to wrath evil and do Good accordingly. With this, we have nothing to do against our leaders than to pray that God take control of their hearts, and to turn it in the way of the Lord.
Many leaders are ordained by the Lord and turned away from His plans because they are power drunk, but only God can call these leaders back to Himself. As we all know, that God uses and dump leaders who does good and bad respectively but we can intercede for them as followers. If this nation have experience any bad time, it’s traceable to our leaders. It’s time to commit them to the Lord, to turn their heart to His will for us. To teach them His way and make them walk in His plan and purpose for our lives.
Father, we pray this day, that you will touch the heart of our leaders, turn it to yourself and make them walk in your purpose. Let your will become their desire, let your purpose become their dream, and let them remain your representatives in this nation and beyond, in Jesus Mighty Name we pray, Amen.
Good Morning And God Bless You.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
