Happy New week to you all and welcome to the continuation of our topic, “GOD HONOURS SACRIFICE”. This week we shall be moving further to consider “Pest To Sacrifices”. The first Pest to our Sacrifices is UNFAITHFULNESS. It’s always a pleasure and a desire for Christians to give sacrifice, meet a need or be a blessing to someone in the fold, not in the size now, but to affect lives positively. Many sacrifices has been done by believers but yet no response from God to that effect. One of the reasons is this, they might have been done without faithfulness, truth or for eyes service – let people know that I also participated. That isn’t sacrifice to God, it’s sacrifice to men without God’s involvement.
Ananias and Sapphire desire to do what others were doing, peradventure they’ve been blessed by other’s sacrifice and was led to also affect others, but they did it with unfaithfulness. They took part of their proceed and called it the whole – they lied – and the sacrifice ended their lives. When you lie about your sacrifice, incomplete tithe these can led to unfaithful sacrifice. Be truthful with your Sacrifice. Be sincere with your service. Every Sacrifice must be given with the fear of God. Lack of Faithfulness in our Sacrifices nullifies our intention. Let’s add Faithfulness to our Sacrifices.
