7. And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and the herdmen of Lot’s cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land.

Welcome to this wonderful week in the month of April, May this month yield as we follow His Direction in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. This week, we are studying, “Price For Peace”, what does it entails to enjoy peace in one’s life and environ. Our case study for the week is Father Abraham.I Have come to discovered that, there are many lessons to learn from this Man that can’t be quantified. Let’s learn from Him what he did to enjoy peace.
When God called Abraham to leave his country and family, he left with his nephew, lot, and they both increased as God increased Abraham. A time came when there was strive between their herdsmen, which could have affected the family tree but Abraham handled it wisely by identifying the source of the trouble. Abraham called Lot his brother and not the herdsmen. He spoke with him as a brother not as a troubler. The herdsmen weren’t the source of the problem but lot.
Many time, we over react when we need to handle our peace troubler. We attack the wrong person, focus on the wrong side and end up becoming guilty. When we are faced with issues, we are afraid of speaking directly to the origin of it In our lives, we see men as our problem instead of the devil. We belief others that are working diligent as our troubler instead of working on ourselves in our places of work. We tackled the wrong person without diligent search. Let me ask you this morning, who is your Peace troubler? Can you identify the person or the spirit? Then, know who to face to restore your peace back. You need to identify the source of your problems and not just the channel.
Good day and God bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
