Wednesday, 29th March, 2023.

TOPIC: ARE YOU IN DOUBT? 4: Loosing Focus Brings Doubt.

MEMORY VERSE:
Luke 1:37.
“37. For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

BIBLE READING:
Luke 7:18-20
18 The disciples of John the Baptist told John about everything Jesus was doing. So John called for two of his disciples, 19 and he sent them to the Lord to ask him, “Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?” 20 John’s two disciples found Jesus and said to him, “John the Baptist sent us to ask, ‘Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?’”
Today, we’re studying another servant of God who doubted God and His personal revelation. We’ve been checking through faithful servant of God who doubted God’s word, so for us to know that we are not the only one in the journey of doubt.
John the Baptist introduce Jesus to the world, and still went to doubt if He’s the same Jesus that was yet to come. Why will he doubt if He’s the same Jesus? Because he lost focus on Him. He missy the main reason of Jesus coming to the world. He taught Jesus will be fighting a physical fight. John was in prison during this time and he taught He will come for his rescue but that was not Jesus’ assignment. Doubt steps in when we loose focus of our purpose or purpose of other persons. When we belittle what God told us or what we received from God, doubt is planting it’s root in us, if care is not taken, it will germinate and subdue ones Faith. When doubt comes in, take your stand and hold onto what God says even when it’s not real yet. Never doubt when you have the spoken prophecy from God.
Good day and God bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
