TOPIC: WHAT KILLS FAITH? 1: Lack Of The Word.

MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 11:1.
“1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

BIBLE READING:
Romans 10:17.
“17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Happy New week to you all. We shall be studying “What Kills Our Faith”. Why does our faith kept diminishing gradually as believers? Faith is the tool to walk with God and we all know that without it pleasing God will be impossible. It’s a substance of things hope for, what you believe will work out but at some times, we loose the faith and feel miserable, why? Because we stop devoting time for God’s word. We keep calculating the word of God instead of accepting and believing it as before.
Many Christians believed “civilization has come” that not all of the word of God we should followed. We begin to select the word to believe and accept. We decide on what we work with and with this we’ve diverted ourselves to the level of mental wisdom. This is the first pest killing our Faith. The Word created everything including you, so working outside the word is working against ourselves. How often do we study God’s word? When we study do we really act accordingly? Do we accept what you studied? You have no time to study on your own, only when you are in His presence, do you accept and believe the word preached? It’s what you receive with your heart that can change you and work around you.
“So, then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Not hearing what other says or believed in, but the Word of God you heard or read, accept and believed in. Go back to the studying of the word and your Faith will find expression again.
Good Morning And God Bless You.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
