“3 He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.”

Life is full of troubles here and there. Each day has it’s full loads of problem but we can be exempted from it all if we avoid them. One of the easiest means of escaping from problem is the way we make use of our mouth; what comes out of our mouth day in day out can either deliver us or put us into problems. How are you using your mouth, to lift up or to bring down? To destroy or to build? What we say with our mouth is what governs our lives to the future. If we can guide our mouth we can save our future.

2 Sam. 1:14-16

“14 So David said to him, “How was it you were not afraid to put forth your hand to destroy the LORD’s  anointed?”

15 Then David called one of the young men and said, “Go near, and execute him!” And he struck him so that he died.

16 So David said to him, “Your blood is on your own head, for your own mouth has  testified against you, saying, ‘I have killed the LORD’s anointed.’”

When you use your mouth against others, you are attracting problem for yourself. When you gossip, back bit, complain with your mouth, watch it problem is becoming your permanent residences if care is not taken. Watch your mouth and you will be preserving yourself destiny.
