Bible Reading: 1 Thess. 5:20
“20 Do not despise prophecies.”
What is prophecy? It’s the revealing of things to come, future things, as revealed by God to His servant or His children. Prophecy has its root in God and it’s a way of answering prayers. Prophecy comes through spoken word. Every prophecy has the ability to fulfil itself if it’s from God and prophecy can also be changed if it’s negative because God reveals ahead of time for one to know and prepare about it.
King Hezekiah would have despise the prophecy of His death and doubt prophet Isaiah’s word but He faced the wall and changed the prophecy.
Apostle Paul was speaking to the children of God not to despise prophecy, not to look away from every prophecy directed to us. We need to hear, know and work on it. We shouldn’t handle it as false prophecy or despise it. When prophecy comes your way, if they don’t look like your desire, you can change them ( through prayer), if it looks like what you desire, you claim it and work towards it. You have no duty with the man/woman behind the prophecy, face God and work on the prophecy the way you desire. I pray for someone today, every negative prophecies against you, they are canceled in Jesus Mighty name. Those waiting for the fulfillment of positive prophecies, it shall come to pass in Jesus Precious name.
Do not despise any prophecy that comes your way, do the needful according to your desire and God’s will.
Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants of the day and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today, May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
