Week 38, Day 2:
Monday, 18th September 2023.

TOPIC: SUFFERING: Christian Suffering (1)

MEMORY VERSE:
Romans 8:18
“18. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Peter 4:12-14.
“12. Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13. But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.”
I welcome you to the continuation of this series, Suffering. Many believers suffer for reasons not know. I bet it with you, the best step out of Suffering is to first know the source of the suffering. Why are you going through what you are passing through? There are different types of sufferings and every suffering has a source. Today, we start with the first types of Sufferings which i called “Christian Suffering”. Yes, Christians suffer for following Jesus Christ. The Psalmist said, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” Psalms 34:19.
Apostle Peter speaking in our text said
“If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.”
This suffering for God’s kingdom comes with exceeding reward. When others frustrate you for serving God, deny you your right, suppress and kill, this is for God’s Glory, yes it’s not easy but this suffering attract strenght and the backing of God. All the apostles went through this suffering and Jesus Christ our Lord experienced it also. Apostle Paul even prayed to experience this suffering In Phillip 3:10. I pray for Strenght, Grace, Enablement and Courage for all believers going through such suffering and about to go into in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 33, Day 6:
Friday, 18th August 2023.

TOPIC: TEACHINGS ON GIVING – Why Giving? (13)

MEMORY VERSE:
Acts 20:35.
“35. …, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

BIBLE READING:
Job 29:12-13.
“12. Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.
13. The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.”
The second reason why we give is to MEET OTHERS NEEDS. To create equality amongst ourselves. Have you noticed that, you can finish what you have at a particular time, nothing last forever? Have you also notice that someone has been there for you in time past? Also, there’s a joy that fills our heart when we attend to the needs of others. Our giving is to solve problems, putting smile on people’s face, healing wounds and making others special. Moreso, giving to others solves our problem.
Job said, “The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.”
With the Spirit of giving, Job, was able to solve others problem, he made the widow smile, those whom people have termed perished, enjoyed revival through Job’s giving. You don’t give to boast, suppress or belittle others. Your giving should be to solve other’s problem and bring them happiness and smile. What God blessed you with is to bless others. So therefore, your giving is to make others feel important. Your giving should make other better not worst.
Good Day and God bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 32, Day 5:
Thursday, 10th August 2023.

TOPIC : TEACHINGS ON GIVING: Giving To Spouse (5)

MEMORY VERSE:
Acts 20:35.
“35. … how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

BIBLE READING:
Ecclesiastes 9:9.
“9. Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, …”
Proverbs 31:11
“11. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.”
Today, we are studying “Giving To Spouse” which is also an accepted giving to God. In marriage, giving is a two way things and is one of the best way to have a lasting marriage. Many feels it’s the responsibility of the man to give to his wife and children and for the woman to only receive and be engaged in the house chores alone, this is a wrong assertion for believers. Men are to give and take care of their wives likewise, women are to give and take care of their husbands too. Marriage is all about give and take. I’ve heard of marriages where women can’t call her husband, only to Flash then He calls back. I’ve seen men being a philanthropist outside and their wives suffering at home.
You both need to make yourself happy by giving surprises, presenting gifts, lunch, wears, taking one another out and giving your body willingly not optionally, because you are meant to spark the love in your home. King Solomon said enjoy life with the wife of your youth. He also said a woman should take care of her husband. Lack of giving has broken many homes just because someone else’s is willing to give them outside their marriages. Giving to God while denying your spouse can make your gift unacceptable. God gave you that partner to care for and not to despitefully use. Learn to give to your spouse even when they don’t ask, it’s ordained of God.
Good Day and God bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC : TEACHINGS ON GIVING: Giving To God (3)

MEMORY VERSE:
Acts 20:35.
“35. I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 29:1-2.
“1. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
2. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”
Welcome to today’s Devotional on Giving To God. Let’s continue with what we can give to God.
5. PRAISES.
What is Praise? Is not about you or I, it’s not about our family or what we’ve received from God but about who God is, what He is capable of doing. For His personality without equal. Where He is, How He is and what He can do and has done.
Exodus 15:11.
“11. Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
Praising God is feeding God His best meal. We are created to show forth His praise.
1 Peter 2:9.
“9. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”
Giving God Praise is a duty for the living, cos it’s a privilege to be alife, that’ what makes the difference between the dead and the living.
Isaiah 38:18-19.
“18. For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.
19. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.”
We are created to give God the best of our praise. Give Him Praise always.
Good Day and God bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 31, Day 1: Sunday, 30th July 2023. TOPIC : Psalms 23: My Shepherd 1

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 31, Day 1:
Sunday, 30th July 2023.

TOPIC : Psalms 23: My Shepherd 1

MEMORY VERSE:
John 10:11.
“11. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 23:1.
“1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Our focus this week is Psalms 23. The Lord will be unfolding the mystery behind this chapter of the bible to us, written by King David, a man after God’s heart.
“The Lord is My Shepherd.”
David didn’t start life as a King, he started as a shepherd boy, in order words, he was explaining his experience as a shepherd before becoming a King. A shepherd is a leader of sheep, flock. He goes ahead of them, He knows the way better than the sheep. He loves and cares for the sheep he’s leading. From this perspectives, this is what a man will do for an animal, how much more will God do for human?
“I shall not want”
The implication of God being one’s shepherd is that lack and want are ending. The shepherd will take the sheep to where they will be satisfy even at the detriment of his life. Jesus Christ, the great shepherd, is our leader, director, instructor and guardian. With Him, we will lack no good thing if we allow Him to lead us, because when He leads, He takes us to where our needs are. It’s a different thing to have Jesus as your shepherd and a different thing to follow your shepherd. Those who recognise His voice and follow Him are those who will never be in want.
Good Day and God bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 27, Day 2: Sunday, 3rd July 2023. Topic: RISK TAKERS 2.Esther Risk Her Life For The Jews.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye  Emmanuel
Week 27, Day 2:
Sunday, 3rd July 2023.

Topic: RISK TAKERS 2.
Esther Risk Her Life For The Jews.

MEMORY VERSE:
Deuteronomy 1:6.
“6. The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 4:15-17.
“15. Then Esther bade them return Mordecai this answer,
16. Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.
17. So Mordecai went his way, and did according to all that Esther had commanded him.”
“Taking Risk to save lives,” is a simple theme to be given to Esther’s decision. Despite being the loved Queen, there are rules guiding when to see and meet with the King (her Husband). There are consequences if these rules are bent, but her Uncle also told her the consequences if the risk was not taken, then she sent this message back,
“16…. and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.”
What a risk! The scripture said, the next day she went to present herself before the king and she was favoured by the King. If she had made up her mind not to go because she was safe in the palace, God would have raised someone else according to Modecia, but she took the risk and saved all the Jews in Susa from the plot of Haman.
To take a risk means breaking a rule for a positive reason. Esther was placed at the palace for this reason so she could be the saviour for the Jews. Your position isn’t just for your family but for generation to be save. What’s the risk presented before you that you deem dangerous? That’s the reason you are in that marriage, that office, and that ministry. You’re to take the risk and save lives. God is telling you this for you to move and risk it all.
Good Day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to  those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 26, Day 6: Friday, 30th June 2023. Topic: TAKE THE RISK 6: Taking Risk Makes You A Blessing

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 26, Day 6:
Friday, 30th June 2023.

Topic: TAKE THE RISK 6:
Taking Risk Makes You A Blessing

MEMORY VERSE:
Deuteronomy 2:2-3.
“2. And the LORD spake unto me, saying,
3. Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 7:9.
“9. Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.
Risk taking and the result therein isn’t meant for personal gain, Yes, it’s for the good of all. Not for self consumption, but to affect lives around us positively. We’ve got to know that, every risk is a door opener for a better life, when the door is open, allow others to have access in. We don’t become great to suppress others, we become great to make others great.
The four lepers enjoyed themselves and had in abundance, then they said to one another,
“We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.”
Meaning, we can’t enjoy all these alone, it’s even dangerous. We need to let others benefit from it. We need to be a blessing to the city even if we are forbidden from entering the city. Famine in the city and surplus here and we in between them without linking them isn’t right, let’s reach out to the king. They broke the good news to the city and everyone was relived of famine. That is how it should be, the positive result of your risk should help people out of their difficulties. Don’t hold it all to yourself, spread it over for there’s danger when you withhold it to yourself alone.
Good Day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 23, Day 1:
Friday, 4th June 2023.

Topic: ELIJAH AND THE THREE CAPTAINS 1: Don’t Bring Others Down.

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 75:7.
“7. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 1:9.
“9. Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down.”
I welcome you to this week devotional with the topic, “Elijah And The Three Captains.” There are lessons God will want us learn and walk with in order to live a fulfilled life.
Today, our topic says, “Dont Bring Others Down”, don’t work towards destroying others or dethroning anyone for any reason, because everyone is placed by God and only Him can enthrone and dethrone, not you. No matter the offense of someone against you, don’t work towards dethroning them because;
(I) You don’t know his relationship with God,
(II). You didn’t place them in that position.
The King of Samaria knew Prophet Elijah that He’s a man of God and he was trying to bring him down from his rightful position. He sent a captain and his fifty to Prophet Elijah but, He was placed there by God and God responded to his call. That person in your office, your boss or your subordinates, stop working their transfer or sack. Stop fighting other’s marriage when they are not troubling your marriage. When God position a man or woman, He won’t give you the power to bring him/her down. Don’t allow your superiors to destroy your life by manipulating you against others. Don’t attempt bringing others down. Let’s meet tomorrow for the next lesson.
Good day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 15, Day 5: Thursday, 13th April, 2023. Topic: HE IS ALIVE 5: We Are Empowered

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 15, Day 5:
Thursday, 13th April, 2023.

Topic: HE IS ALIVE 5: We Are Empowered

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 28:6.
“26. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

BIBLE READING:
Ephesians 4:8.
“8. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.”
The Death and Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour is the pivot of our walk with God. Without this sacrifice there wouldn’t have been any different from other religion. When Jesus resurrected, the scripture made it known that, He ascended up on High and led captivity captive, meaning, the hunter became the hunted and captived. He took hold of the tormentor of men, He put him under His control.
Back to when He was yet to be killed, he said to the seventy disciples,
“19. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19”
We are empowered to liberate the captives, and He practicalized it while on earth and during His death. He defeated the sting of Death and the grave, he captured them and made them his slave. That is what Christ has done for us, every captivity around our lives has become His captive and we are free when we have Jesus as our saviour. If you believe in Him, you have power to become the Son of God to set loose everyone captured around our life. His death set us free from captivity, Hallelujah.
Good day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 14, Day 5: Thursday, 6th April, 2023. TOPIC: Price For Peace 5. Listen To God Voice

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 14, Day 5:
Thursday, 6th April, 2023.

TOPIC: Price For Peace 5. Listen To God Voice

MEMORY VERSE:
Heb. 12:14.
14. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 13:14-16
“14. And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
“15. For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
16And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
The fastest hindrance to the voice of God is the absence of peace. When our heart lacks peace, communication with God can’t be possible. Listening to God will be a tale because when He speaks, unsettled heart won’t differenciate God’s voice from other noise. When you’ve paid the price for peace, the next thing is to listen to God’s leading and be attentive to His purpose for your life.
After Abraham discharged Lot and his herdsmen, the next experience was the voice from God. The Lord wants a peaceful mind to speak to. He want a stabled mind to reveal His purpose to. This is the main reason for seeking after peace. Our memory verse says, “Follow PEACE with all men, and holiness, WITHOUT WHICH NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD:” without Peace and Holiness, it’s not possible to see God, to hear Him and know His mind concerning us. It’s time to enjoy relationship with God after realizing your peace troubler. Seek for God’s leading in order to know His will concerning you.
Good day and God bless you.
