Marriage is more than making babes, sleeping together, walking together and spending together. Every good and godly marriages are based on Love and Endurance not lust and enjoyment as many thinks. Lust can’t keep a home and Endurance comes before Enjoyment in marriage. What do I mean by Endurance? You agreed to live with someone you have little idea of, so, you have to start understanding one another for some years, start correcting some fault in love, and teaching one another some principles of life and marriage. So if you lack endurance, you can’t go through this process. During those period, Lust can’t sustain you, because lust only came for what to get not what to contribute, when this is not achieved, lust leads you out of the marriage. So love is what sustains you to endure the trying time before the enjoyment.

Marriages built on lust are filled with lies, pretence, domestic violence, lack of unity, insubordination and bitterness. While Marriages built on Love are full of truth from onset, No violence, united, openness, submissiveness (from both sides), understanding and happiness. Get this, no marriages is without ups and downs but love keeps the marriage during these period.

Face Your Marriage.

Marriage is between two persons, without any interference from other parties, either from the two in-laws or friends. It’s between you two that has become one, you don’t need to compare your home with others. Build your home. If other marriages fail will yours fail too? So face your selves in your marriage.

Marriages is not built on Love alone but many other ingredients such as Commitment, Forgiveness, Endurance, Sacrifice, Submissiveness (from both side), and Acceptability. 

WHY PEOPLE QUIT IN MARRIAGES
1. Lust Base and not Love Base.
They didn’t know the difference between Lust and Love before going into marriage and they have no deep meaning of what marriage entails.

2. Lack of Unity In Marriage.
Marriage is not a ring where you FIGHT to win, No, it’s a field where you PLAY to win together, cover one another lapses, blame games is not allowed, so, it’s a team game, Amos 3:3. It’s a field where you play as a team not as an individual.

3. One Sided Support System.
You don’t marry because of what you’ll gain only, you marry to contribute and then gain from one another, that’s why it’s called, Give and Take. When you are not ready to Sacrifice, Forgive, Control and be Controlled, Supportive and Submissive, don’t think about marriage, because this is what marriage entails.

I don’t know what you are going through in Your marriage presently, but this i know, God can handle it all, just identify the source of your challenges first then, the solution will show up.

Lust is a short term selfish goal towards someone or something. Lust is always temporary in nature and with one focus at a time. One can lust after opposite sex, money, position, properties, power or fame. Lust is define by the word “Get it by all means and turn back”. Most celebrity and wealthy people find their selves in this shoe, called lust love, and sooner or later they end up in divorce and miserable, because Lust has been interchanged with Love.

Love is to prefer to be with, share with, spend your time with, stand with and stand by someone or something than any other person or thing. Love is a long term goal, till death do us part. Love doesn’t die, it can be hidden but it last longer than lust. To love is to be ready to forgive and forget offenses. Love look away from wrongs and correct in love.

Lust is for a moment. Love is for a life time.

Lust is after a short term savour, while Love is for a long term enjoyment.

Lust is all about taking advantage of others. Love is about inspiring one another; 

Lust is build on selfishness. Love is build on Oneness.

Lust expires while Love doesn’t expire.

Lust complain bitterly, Love correct gently.

These are reasons why our parent still spend years together with their spouses even with all the challenges in their marriages, because they lived in Love and not in Lust.

Marriage means, Union of Two Lovers who want to be together, share together, spend time together, stand with and stand by one another for life, and that’s why it’s called a vow. 

It’s what you think is not possible. 

“Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said we should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it” Num: 13:30.

It is what someone refuses to do because of insufficient strength, insufficient finances, or being afraid of taking a risk.

“I can do everything through him (Christ) who gives me strength” Phillip. 4:13.

It is what you’ve done and failed because you never involve God.

“And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the son may bring Glory to the Father” John 14:13.

It is what you’ve done depending on your strength and your understanding.

 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” Pro. 3:5

It is what you are unable to do because you are fearful.

It is what you are sure of and haven’t taken a step towards it.

“As the body without spirit is dead, so faith without deed is dead” James 2:16.

It is what you believe won’t be possible.

“If you can (believe)? “ Said Jesus, ‘Everything is possible for him who believes.”’ Mark 9:23.

It is something you don’t have faith to do. 

“Jesus replied, “ I tell you the truth, if you have faith and also do not doubt, not only will you do what was done to the fig-tree, but also you can say to this mountain, Go throw yourself into the sea, and it will be done” Matt. 21:21

It is what you are not called to do and not gifted in the area, back off from it.

“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” Romans 8:30.

Everything we can see around us today were also tagged impossible some time ago until someone made them possible. Someone took the risk to create electricity, airplane, cars, and many things we can talk of, they were created by someone who never believed in impossibility. They believe everything is possible and took the needed action to create what we see today. Remember, God called things that were not as if they were, do you know, the creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God (you and i) to be revealed? 

Many are await our wealth of wisdom; they are looking forward to what we will give to our generation. Some families are poor because you are yet to manifest, and some are sick spiritually because your ministry hasn’t been given birth to. I know you won’t want to fail God and your destiny, stop saying “it’s impossible”.

This led the Israelites to waste forty (40) years in the wilderness instead of forty (40) days, looking for nothing. Start believing that all things are possible. Trust in God. Have faith in His word. Confess it and take action. Get the needed information and you will manifest because the information you have determines what you do and how you do it.

“For with God all things are possible,” 

Why not cling to God and stop trusting in men? Cling to Jesus, the Author and the finisher of your faith, He’s waiting for you to turn all your impossibilities into possibility.

Are you saved? If you are not saved you are not safe. Pray this prayer with me as the first step to walking in possibilities;

Lord Jesus, God of possibility, I realized that I can do nothing without you. I realized that everything is impossible for me without you. I confess and repent of my sins today. I give my life to you, take charge, and make everything possible for me. I confess with my mouth that you are the Lord, and I believe with my heart that God raised you from death, so I put all my trust in you, never let me be ashamed, thank you Lord Jesus for saving me, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Before we answer this question we need to know who a failure is. 

A failure is someone;

* Who failed and quit trying again.

* Who is afraid of taking steps or easily discourage from taking steps or risks.

* Who likes Procrastination

* Who wants the prize but runs from the price, and wants gain without the pain.

* Who lacks decision-making but follows everyone anywhere at any time.

* Who leaves his job to do another mans job. 

* Who lack information or never get information about their passion in life.

* Without Vision, Dream, Focus, or a Purpose.

* Who is always satisfied with the level he/she is, or with his/her accomplishment in life.

* Who never believed in helping people or being helped.

* Who does not know: What to do, How to do it, When to do it, and where to do things.

* Who depends on his/her strength, and ability and never thinks of God.

* Who is always afraid of the future.

* Who believes he/she owes nobody any responsibility in life.

* Who believes in the impossible.

Failing once never makes one a failure, its the inability to try again and again that makes one a failure. When you accept defeat and quit trying, thats what makes you a permanent failure. You are not a failure because youve tried and tried and success is not coming, but you are a failure because you doubt winning when you try again. As the saying goes; Winners never quit and quitters never win.” The more you fail and try again, only gives you ideas that wont work so, you can try it in another way. Doing things, again and again, makes you know how to do them conveniently and better. The easiest way to be a failure is by giving excuses, blaming others for your failures, and rejecting responsibilities.

Now, give me your response to the question, Who is a failure? You can fail but that doesnt make you a failure. If you change your mind about being a failure youve taken the right step to be a winner. One of the steps to becoming a winner is:

1. Changing Your Mind From Being A Failure 

To be a failure or a winner starts with a step. Do you know that a winner today was one time a failure who never accepted defeat? Someone who keeps getting on his/her feet anytime he/she is on the ground. A winner is someone who refuses to be discouraged regardless of the opposition. They saw a roadblock and keep moving to jump the blockage, and when it seem impossible, they looked for other paths to boycott blockage till they get to the end of the journey.

Abraham Lincoln was the greatest president that America ever had. He was 62 years of age when he became the president of the United State of America. He contested several years for different posts but he failed many times to say “I have tried enough, he still kept trying till he become the president of America.

Nobody has been destined to be a failure from birth but everyone has been destined to make decisions, so what makes you a failure is not your destiny, what makes you a success is not just a decree from heaven, its your Decisions. If you failed once, check your decisions, the widest book in the World the Bible says,

“For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again 

Pro. 24 v 16a (NIV)

If you fell or failed 100 times you can still rise again only when you accept that you failed and you are ready to pick up the pieces to tread the part to success. Know this, if youve never experienced failure in life you might not be a successful person in life. Success is being inconvenient with failure. Be mindful of this, people are waiting for your manifestation.

 “The Creation (the world) waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed (NIV) Romans 8 v 19.

If you fail or succeed, a lot of lives are indebted to you. So, your success or your failure is not for you alone, the creation depends on it. You enjoy electricity daily (television, satellite dish) but remember if the person who did the discovery had failed and never tried again it implies that, we will have no access to electricity today. Likewise, people are waiting for your manifestation. This article faces a lot of failures before getting to you. It went through a lot of delays, discouragement, lack of funds, and many more but you are reading it today without knowing what it went through. People are waiting for your success and not your failure. Many await your prosperity so they can be blessed through you so, if you fail today that means youve failed many generations not yourself alone. Stop accepting the idea that you can’t do it. Stop thinking, acting, and speaking failures, start creating success with your actions, words, and thoughts.

It is not by strength that one prevails 1 Sam. 2 v 9b (NIV)

“It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man, it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes Ps. 118 v 8 9 (NIV).

If your steps are against the plan of God for your life, no matter how strong your declaration may be, all your effort might be a waste. Let God be the sailor of your ship, let him be in charge of your life. If your Vision or Dream is against what he has for you it cant be successful because He created you for His purpose and not for your purpose, so let Him have his way by depending on Him. By making His purpose your purpose and His vision your vision. Humans are created in the likeness of God, in His thinking, creativity, and dominion over everything. We are created like God and since he never fails for once you and I are not permitted to be a failure.

You depend on Him by rededicating your life. If your life is not rededicated to Him how can he direct you toward His path? How can you understand His voice and His plans for you? So you need to surrender your life to Him, if you desire to give Him your life or rededicate to Him, say this prayer with me;

Lord Jesus, You came to this world for me to succeed. I accept that Im a failure without you. I believe Ive been strolling all these years without you. I realize my strength can only take me to my purpose and not your purpose for my life. I rededicate my life to you today, to be your genuine son, a son destined for success. I give my all to you, take charge of my heart, my life, my time, my decision, my soul, and my body in Jesus’ Mighty name. Let it work for your purpose, let it bring glory to you so I can be the successful child which you have called me to be, I declare this from the depth of my heart, thank you, Lord, for in Jesus’ precious name I pray.
