“8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord  three times that it might depart from me.

9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my  infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in  persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’ sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

The Second form of response of God to our situation is “Strengthening Situation”. In this case, God doesn’t take our situation away, but gives us the strength to bear it. He releases the needed Grace for the journey.

Apostle Paul was serving God with a thorn in his flesh which he felt God should remove but instead, God said, my Grace is sufficient for you. Are you in such situation that prayers seems to be a waste of time? This might be your answer, His Grace is sufficient for you. In that situation, you will still shine the light of God. 

Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, experience such response. He prayed for the cup to pass over him but God, His Father, only strengthened him for the journey ahead. I don’t know who may be in such situation right now and you are about to give up on God? Keep praying, don’t give up, His Strength, Grace, Enablement and endowment is available for you, you will not fail, you will not fall, neither will you be defeated but you will fulfill purpose. The Lord will release upon you the needed strength to handle and overcome the situation in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
