TOPIC: GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU
Memory Verse: John 5:17:
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”
Bible Reading: Gen. 42:22-24.
“22 And Reuben answered them, saying, “Did I not speak to you, saying, ‘Do not sin against the boy’; and you would not listen? Therefore behold, his blood is now required of us.” 23 But they did not know that Joseph understood them, for he spoke to them through an interpreter. 24 And he turned himself away from them and wept. Then he returned to them again, and talked with them. And he took Simeon from them and bound him before their eyes.
LEARN NEW THINGS
A lot of Christians today has a familiar story with Joseph, the son of Jacob. We are familiar with his story. He was sold out by his blood brothers, bought by a slave master, went into slavery, was lied against and was finally imprisoned. Many thought that was his end. No one could have looked for him. Nobody would have remembered him. But God was working in him through out those period.
During those challenging time, Joseph was able to learn the language of the Egyptians fluently. He was conversant with it. Even in the prison, he interpreted the dream with the language. When he met the king, we weren’t told he was using an interpreter, meaning, he spoke to the king as an Egyptian. He was able to hear and speak the language that his brothers never realize he was the same Joseph they sold out.
What are you learning in that challenge? God brought you through those challenges to teach you some lesson. He want to show you new things you know not. Are you just seeing the challenges or utilizing it to get knowledge? That’s why many will go through hardship, made it, but couldn’t sustain it because, they’ve refuse to learn during the challenging time. There is something God want you to gain from that situation. Stop focusing on the negative, try and see the positive side. Gain new experience. The examination time is coming when your experience will be tested.
Open your understanding to learn new things in that situation of yours.
Have a Great Day.
Do remember to share the message, someone need to be encourage through this, God Bless you all.
