Topic: WHAT THE BELIEVERS LACKS 6: Links Between Believers and Ministers of God

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 10:12
“12. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

BIBLE READING:
Acts 2:43.
“23. And fear came upon every soul: AND MANY WONDERS AND SIGNS WERE DONE BY THE APOSTLES.”
When Jesus came to the earth, he lived for thirty years (short right?). When His time came, He appointed the Apostles in different groups. There were the seventy-two, there were the twelve, the three and the beloved. Why all these categories? They are meant to reach the lost soul at different levels. Jesus’ ministry wouldn’t have been possible if the apostles left Him to do it alone or if Jesus, said, “I’m the son of God, I can do it all alone”. No, He needed the disciples. Likewise, every minister need co-workers before any signs and wonders can be achieve. When we create a gap between ourselves and the Ministers in the name of “I’m not the called, He is the minister” we are only making the work difficult for them. When a minister thinks He can achieve it alone, He’s only relegating himself to what He’s strenght can do.
The Apostles learnt this from Jesus’ ministry and implemented it. They worked together with the believers in all levels. They carried one another along and with this, signs and wonders was the result. Yes you are not called but you’re to serve. Yes you are the called but you can’t achieve it all alone. You need others to fulfill God’s assignment over your life. It’s time to work together, no segregation or hierarchy, we are all running after the same goal, to win a soul.
Good Day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Topic: WHAT THE BELIEVERS LACKS 5: Our Reverence Win Souls.

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 10:12
“12. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

BIBLE READING:
Acts 2:43.
“23. AND FEAR CAME UPON EVERY SOUL: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.”
We have stipulated four points lacking in believers which limits us from having the apostles experience today. The truth is this, when the souls we’re meant to win sees division between us they won’t Reverence the God we preach. When we are not strong in unity, prayer and fellowship there’s no how we can penetrate souls for Christ, our way of life and disunity will rival our messages. Remember this, our lives reflects what happens in our fellowship with other believers. What we speak and do reflects the outcome of our gathering. Many believers today takes issue in our churches to unsaved soul out there (that needs our saviour) to Judge us.
The Acts of the disciples then hasten the lost soul to long for God, they fear the God of the believers without preaching to them, this gave them the reason to accept the Saviour they preached. How have we damaged the God we preached before the souls who need Him? We believers, do we even reverence the God we Serve before the souls we are preaching to? Our way of life is what introduces God to lost souls. We save souls directly and indirectly with the way we live. Is our way of life reflecting the fear of God to others, as ministers, workers member and believers generally? Let your life reflect the fear of God to every souls.
Good Day and God Bless you.

Topic: WHAT THE BELIEVERS LACKS 4: Devoted In Prayer

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 10:12
“12. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

BIBLE READING:
Acts 2:42
42 All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the lord’s supper), and TO PRAYER.
The fourth virtue is Praying Together, fervent in prayer, continuous and consistent prayer life. When we devote ourselves to teaching, regular fellowship and sharing with other believers, to pray will be more easier, because iron sharpens iron. The more we are together the more we influence ourselves in prayer. The prayer life of believers then was consistent and effective because they prayed together with the Apostles. When Apostle Peter was locked up in prison by Herod, the scripture says, “… but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” Acts 12:5. This is the influence of the apostles upon the believers, they were praying without ceasing.
How prayerful are you? Remember, not until we gather together that we can pray. You don’t need to pray for hours before prayers is done. Little prayer while walking, sitting, laying down, are ways to grow in prayer. You don’t need to close your eye always, short prayers within and without, even when driving. Prayer is just communicating with God regularly. Be effective in your prayer life. Praying together as believers aids our journey as Christians.
Good Day and God Bless you.

Topic: WHAT THE BELIEVERS LACKS 3: Sharing In Love

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 10:12
“12. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

BIBLE READING:
Acts 2:42
42 All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and TO SHARING IN MEALS (INCLUDING THE LORD’S SUPPER), and to prayer.
The third virtue lacking in the lives of believers that makes Christianity less active is “Sharing in Love”, giving in love, meeting other needs without preference, tribalism, sentiment or nepotism. The sharing in the days of the Apostles is not about profit or gain but they share to create equality amongst themselves. The rich sold what they have to take care of the poor and the needy. Every gap between the lowly and the highly place were covered. No tribalism or sentiment of Greek or Hebrews, they all share things equal. That was why Jesus told the rich man, “Sell what you have and give to the poor” Math. 19: 20-21.
We read the account of how believers sold their properties to care for the less privilege then, but now, it’s I and my family, my towns men. Instead of sharing we look down on the less privilege and castigate them for being lazy or unproductive, yes they are, but you left them unproductive by sharing your wealth with others within your circle alone. These and many more has caused division in the house of God. It’s time to share with one another, to help those who need help who aren’t your relative or towns men. This is one of the bonds that the Apostles enjoy in their days, we can do the same.
Good Day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Topic: WHAT THE BELIEVERS LACKS 2: Genuine Fellowshipping.

Today, one of the things lacking amongst believers is the “Lack Of Genuine Fellowship”, yes. It’s not about gathering together but genuinely fellowshipping together in spirit and in truth. We gather for service, worship and meetings but are we really fellowshipping? Are we united in spirit? Do we accept one another’s fault? Is our gathering meaningful and productive? Are we leaving the service blessed and impacting others?
In the days of the Apostles, the scripture made it known, the believers do fellowship together in unity and in one accord. These was the reason for the outpour of the Holy Spirit on the day of pentecost.
Hebrews 10:25 says,
“25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;…”
Sunday services are well jam-packed but weekly activities attendance are very minimal compare to Sunday attendance. When we are not in attendance how do we grow in the word and have fellowship with others? To enjoy the flow of the Spirit like the days of pentecost we need to fellowship together and be United with one another. When we gather together continuously, then we grow in the teachings of the Word of God.
Good Day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO ALL FATHERS.
Beloved, i welcome to this week topic, “WHAT THE BELIEVERS LACKS.” We may claim to be Christians, Believers of Jesus but lacks what it entails. Our sub- topic today is “Steadfastness In The Teaching.” As believers, what sustains us is Steadfastness in the teachings of God’s word through His servants, God’s minister ordained by God. One way to be a geniune believer is abiding in the teaching of God’s word. Many Teachings has been countered by the same believers who taught they’ve known more than enough. We oppose teachings of God’s word meant for our growth. We select the convenient ones to obey. We’ve gone to the extent of talking down ministers and counter their messages and this has reduce the flow of God amongst us.
The believers of those days listened to the Apostle which helped their growth spiritually and caused the spread of the Gospel. They listened and made amendment when they received God’s word. How steadfast are we today to the teachings in our various place of worship? When our weaknesses are mentioned he do we handle it? Do you abide or oppose the messages from God’s servants? Check your self and do the needful.
Good Day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Topic: EVEN IN THE WILDERNESS 7: God Expect Our Praise

MEMORY VERSE:
Isaiah 43:19.
“19. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I WILL EVEN MAKE A WAY IN THE WILDERNESS, AND RIVERS IN THE DESERT.”
BIBLE READING:
1 Thessalonians 5:18.
“18. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
If there was anything thing the children of Israel were good at while in the wilderness, it was grumbling, complaining and focusing on their past. One good thing about life is, focus on how to change where you are and not comparing your past with the present. When you focus on a better yesterday you kill the future today. When you refuse to appreciate where you are today you’re truncating your better tomorrow. God still wants us to appreciate Him even in the wilderness. Wilderness doesn’t deny God His praise. After every victory in the wilderness, we are to praise His name. When things seems bad, we are to praise Him, no matter the situation, as long as we are living, we need to tell Him, “Thank you Jesus”.
Egypt’ mentality couldn’t allowed the Israelite give God thanks while in the wilderness. Above all else, we need to keep praising Him because He is too faithful in all occurrences. Jesus, in the wilderness when there was little food to feed more than ten thousand people, He still gave God thanks, and it led to multiple food. Can you do that today, even in tears, pains, lack or discouragement, give God praise wholeheartedly and He will return your praise with testimony.
Good Day and God Bless you.

Topic: EVEN IN THE WILDERNESS 6: No Harm Be Falls You.

MEMORY VERSE:
Isaiah 43:19.
“19. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I WILL EVEN MAKE A WAY IN THE WILDERNESS, AND RIVERS IN THE DESERT.”

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 105:13-15.
“13. When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
14. He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15. Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
It’s a wonder how one goes through tough times and still come out strong and unscratched, that is God in action. There may be scars, wounds and stories but He protects us all through the wilderness. David said, “He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Psalms 105:14. He stops every harm targeted at us even without our knowledge, everyone who tries to trouble us He silenced. In that wilderness no harm will befall you for He is with you.
Numbers 23:22-24.
“22. God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.
23. Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!
24. Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.”
It’s good to know, they were still in the wilderness when Balak hired Balaam to curse the Israelites but instead of curse they were blessed the more. How good will it have been if our eyes are opened to see the harm God resisted on our behalf. In that wilderness you are not palatable with, that marriage, ministry, childlessness, sickness, joblessness, slavery, and all sorts, God is standing by you, resisting what you can’t handle. He has never left you alone all along. Just keep going and be focus till you get to the promise land.
Good Day and God Bless you.

MEMORY VERSE:
Isaiah 43:19.
“19. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I WILL EVEN MAKE A WAY IN THE WILDERNESS, AND RIVERS IN THE DESERT.”

BIBLE READING:
Deuteronomy 2:3.
“3. Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.”
The prove of God’s presence anywhere is His consistent Instructions, guidance and leading. For anything to work, God’s instructions are crucial. Why? Because His Instructions are guidance, they are mapped to take you out of the wilderness. As a matter of fact, God’s Instruction is what makes the journey sweeter in the wilderness of life because you are led as you walk the wilderness.
He proved that He was with the Israelite, He kept instructing them when to rest and when to break camp. Our responses to His Instructions determines our days, month and years in the wilderness. When He gave instructions to spy and take over the land of Canaan, their disobedience, as a result of fear, cost them forty years in the wilderness. There are Instructions in that wilderness of ours, all we need to do is to listen and respond positively in order to end the wilderness journey. Search out His Instructions, act on them, and put fear out of your way, this will determine the length of your days in the wilderness of life.
Good Day and God Bless you.

Isaiah 43:19.
“19. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I WILL EVEN MAKE A WAY IN THE WILDERNESS, AND RIVERS IN THE DESERT.”

BIBLE READING:
Deuteronomy 29:5-6.
“5. And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.
6. Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the LORD your God.
In the book of Genesis chapter Three, when the new man and woman sinned against God, He sent them out of the Garden of Eden, that contains every needed things, into wilderness where they will work for their needs but God never left them naked. He covered their nakedness regardless of their sins. I want you to know that, God will not allow you walk naked in that wilderness of life, you will never lack clothing and shoes to sustain you.
Moses was speaking to the Israelites, _”And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot._ For forty years, they were clothed eveln in the wilderness, their shoes were not worn out, why? Because God never left them alone. Listen to me, in that wilderness, you will finish strong because He’s with you. You keep saying, “but i put myself in this wilderness”, smile, Remember, “All things work together for good for they that love the Lord.” He turns our mistakes to mystery. Stop judging yourself, God knows better, He will meet your needs in that wilderness of life. Don’t just give up on yourself and God. He will never let you walk naked in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
