Wednesday, 7th February, 2024

TOPIC: DIVERSE SERVICES: Gospel Financial (4)

MEMORY VERSE:
Exodus 23:25.
25 “You must serve only the lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.

BIBLE READING:
Luke 8:2-3.
“2. And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,
3. And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.
Today, God will honour our efforts and supply our immediate needs in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Have you ever wondered how Jesus ministry was financed? Who pays the bills without tithe and offerings? Yes, this is another calling of God upon some persons in and out of the church and Christianity. Remember not all calling ends at the pulpit or podium. These set of persons are ordained to finance the Gospel through some fivefold ministry. These women mentioned in our Bible reading today, their calling was to sow the seeds of money into Jesus’ ministry. During the Apostle’s day, the scripture said in Acts of the Apostles 4:36-37,
“36. And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,
37. Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
These persons calling are to carter for the need of the Gospel with their resources. Not everyone is called to do these because calling differs for individuals. Paul also enjoyed this ministry from the Philippians, Philippians 4:15-19, he talked about their gifts which attracted Apostle Paul’s blessing. As Christians, we are all called but to different ministry, all we need do is to identify our calling and stick to it. Have you identify yours? Walk with it to please God.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: DIVERSE SERVICES: Replacement Service (3)

MEMORY VERSE:
Exodus 23:25.
25 “You must serve only the lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.

BIBLE READING:
Deuteronomy 1:37-38
“37. Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither.
38. But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it. (KJV)
Welcome to another wonderful day meant for restoration of losses in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
The third category of calling we are studying today are those chosen to serve in other places. Going through the scriptures, many of our fathers in Faith have no mentors but most of them had a chosen successor for their offices. These persons were functioning in their capacity, some as helpers, some as financial helpers, or professional services to God’s kingdom before they were chosen by God as a replacement.
Joshua was once a servant to Moses, he followed him into the present of God, he was a helper under the ministry of Moses but when God was looking for a replacement, He was preferred to others, Exo. 33:11, Deut. 1:37-38.
Elisha was another servant who was called to replace Elijah, 1 Kings 19:16. This calling most times is unknown to the called, they are just loyal servants who are not leadership oriented but filled with servant hood spirit. Another example of such is Samuel, He was also called to Replace Eli. In 1st Samuel 1:11-19, the assignment was completed without Samuel knowing he was commissioned. Jesus also called the twelve disciples to take over from Him. This category of services mostly ends up at the pulpit, a prophet and an Evangelist. Do you belong to this category? What are you called to do. Let’s continue tomorrow to see other services in God’s vain yard.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: DIVERSE SERVICES: Help Service. (2)

MEMORY VERSE:

25 “You must serve only the lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.  H vii h Mart how are how how how have we got it from uv how are 8

BIBLE READING:
1 Corinthians 12:28
28 Here are some of the parts God has appointed for the church: first are apostles, second are prophets, third are teachers, then those who do miracles, those who have the gift of healing, THOSE WHO CAN HELP OTHERS, those who have the gift of leadership, those who speak in unknown languages.
Today, the blessings of the Lord shall locate and abide with us all in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
The second category of calling is the ‘Help ministry’. These people’s calling are totally different from those called to minister at the altar. Let’s get this fact, not all those with the Help ministry ends up as pulpit Minister because their calling is not to preach or teach but to be an assistant to those called to the altar. Help is a ministry on it’s own and a call on some certain persons. Aaron and Hur are called into the ‘help ministry’. God said to Moses,
“16 Aaron will be your spokesman to the people. He will be your mouthpiece, and you will stand in the place of God for him, telling him what to say. Exodus 4:16
He was initially called to the ministry of Help before the mantle of priesthood fell on him. Hur was a helper but didn’t end up a pulpit preacher or teacher. The ministry of helper is to complement the office of the five fold ministry. Our challenge today is that, most helpers want to end up as a pulpit minister when God hasn’t called them. I pray for you today, may you locate your calling and your designated position in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Exodus 23:25.
25 “You must serve only the lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.

BIBLE READING:
Ephesians 4:11
11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.
I welcome you to a new and result oriented week in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
This week we shall be focusing on a topic often misunderstood in Christianity. When we talk about Service and Call in Christianity, we often believe everything about these has to do with the Altar. Being call to service has diverse offices we are called into. Yes, we can move from one level to the other but not all calling ends at the Altar. We are all called to service but in different capacity.
The first calling is the fivefold ministry which is a call to the altar. This call has to do with teaching and preaching the word of God, with and without, the altar. These are the leaders appointed by God to reveal the truth to all believers. They are designated to propagate the Gospel to win souls into the Kingdom through their messages and to equip believers day in and day out, via the pulpit and out of it. Not all believers are called to be preachers and teachers on the altar. But all believers are called into one office and the focus is to reach out to the souls and bring them to Christ. What are you called into and where are you designated? These we all need to identify in order to live a fulfilled life.
Good Day and God bless you.

Saturday, 3rd February, 2024

TOPIC: GOD AT WORK IN US: IN ALL, BE GRATEFUL (7)

MEMORY VERSE:
John 5:17
“17. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

BIBLE READING:
Philippians 4:6
“6. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, AND THANK HIM FOR ALL HE HAS DONE. (NLT)
We bless God for bringing us to the end of this week again, May His name be exalted in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
As we study the last topic on our focus today, I can say, complaining, grumbling and crying has been the order of the day for 85% of believers waiting on God. Many keep evaluating their lives with others. Some believers thought God has forgotten them, so they’ve got no reason to appreciate being alive and healthy. Having children, getting a good job, finding the right man or woman, has made many see less of other things God has done around them. May I tell you once again, God is handling your case presently.
The dead can’t have dream anymore, no competition for them. Those that are dead have no idea of what they own when they were alive, they are gone. Why not learn to thank God for what you are enjoying for free? The breath in you, the perfect sight, the functioning body system, the will to be in a place and ability to eat what you want or see without any repercussion on your system? These are proves of, God working in you.
King Hezekiah said, “The living, the living man, he shall praise You, As I do this day;”
If you won’t praise God ahead of your manifestation, you won’t appreciate the manifestation when it comes. That you are reading these, is a sign that God is working in you. Why not celebrate Him this morning?
“Father, thank you for working in me till date. Though I might not be where I want to be, I know I am not where I use to be. Though I might not have what I desire but I have never lacked all I needed. Thank you for this works in me. As a living soul, i’m here to say Thank you, for am still a project In progress. Thank You Father, in Jesus Mighty Name I pray, Amen.”

Week 5, Day 6:

TOPIC: GOD AT WORK IN US: Don’t Give Up On God (6)

MEMORY VERSE:
John 5:17
“17. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

BIBLE READING:
Romans 8:24-26
“24. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?
25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
God, the Father, God, the Son and God the Holy Spirit are working on our behalf. As long as we are believers of Jesus Christ, God is on our side. I like you to know, the Holy Spirit is not left out of the work in us. The scriptures says,
“26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
He is interceding on our behalf. Reminding God of our effort. Speaking to God of our endurance, patience and services in His Household. Don’t give up on God. He is working things out for you.
“24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.” You don’t walk with God for what you can see, touch or feel now, we walk with Him for those things that we hope for, which mean, we must walk with Him in perseverance, patiently and in obedience to His instruction. God hasn’t forgotten us. He is working it out for our good. Keep holding on Him. The scripture says, in Math. 24:13
“13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”
It’s the end of everything that matters not the now. Don’t give up on God.
Prayer
Father, we believe you are working on our behalf. We believe in your greater plans for us. Regardless of our present challenges, we refuse to loose focus on you, we choose to take our stand with you. Oh Lord, enable us to wait till the end in Jesus Mighty Name. Thank you for your works in us and for us, in Jesus Mighty Name we pray, Amen.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 5, Day 5:
Thursday, 1st February, 2024.

TOPIC: GOD AT WORK IN US: Sensitivity To God’s Moves (5)

MEMORY VERSE:
John 5:17
“17. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 18:1-5
“1. Then the LORD appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day.
2. So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground,
3. and said, “My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant.
4. Please let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree.
5. And I will bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh your hearts. After that you may pass by, inasmuch as you have come to your servant.” They said, “Do as you have said.”
Happy New Month to You In God’s name. May you get your steps right this month in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Our God is not a God of delay, He is timely. Just that, our time differs. He knows what He is doing. He knows when to grant our desires, He is not a wicked God. The challenge is that, many whom God is working for are not sensitive to God’s moves. Some are carried away when God is ready for them. Some couldn’t identify God’s voice, His Instructions and His leading, so they’ve miss their timing.
Abraham, the father of faith, was spiritually sensitive to identify the presence of God. He rushed to meet the three visitors and welcomed them. He prepared meal and stood by while they ate. He knew something special was about to happen.
Many Christians today lack this sensitivity. We are not prepared for opportunities. We see all things normal without recognizing opportunities when they come knocking. I pray for you today, you will not miss your God timing in Jesus Mighty Name. Be more sensitive as God is working on your behalf. He would not shout to make His presence known, we just have to be more sensitive to recognize His presence.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 5, Day 4:
Wednesday, 31st January, 2024.

TOPIC: GOD AT WORK IN US: APPRENTICESHIP OF GOD (4)

MEMORY VERSE:
John 5:17
“17. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

BIBLE READING:
Romans 8:28
“28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Learning a trade as an apprentice isn’t an easy task. It takes determination, sacrifice and self-control. An apprentice can be older in age, be a graduate, master holder or even married while the master is still single. Whatever your qualification or status, you have to obey your master. He can send you on errand while he continue working. He can shout at you, insult you and ridicule you as your boss. The only reason for accepting all these is to learn the skill of that trade.
This is how it is with our God, although, He is God over all and above all but He sometimes allows us to experience shame, reproach, rejection and mockery before we acquire the needed skills to bring out His purpose for our lives. During those period, God is bringing out the best in us in order to be a master tomorrow.
In the days of King David, as a boy, He acquired the needed skills; he was trained in the bush, trainned to war and defeat with the sling. He was trained on how to cast out evil spirit with His instrument and the Praise of God. He was already a leader of mighty men while King Saul was after him. God is impacting skills into us through those pains. He is working all things for our good. As long as we love God, He is giving us the needed skills for the mission ahead of us, building in us the ruggedness we will need ahead. He is working for our good. Be a faithful Apprentice, you will soon be freed to be a master.
Good Day and God bless you.

Week 5, Day 3:
Tuesday, 30th January, 2024.

TOPIC: GOD AT WORK IN US: Learn New Things (3)

MEMORY VERSE:
John 5:17
“17. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

BIBLE READING:
Genesis. 42:22-23.
“22 And Reuben answered them, saying, “Did I not speak to you, saying, ‘Do not sin against the boy’; and you would not listen? Therefore behold, his blood is now required of us.”
23 But they did not know that Joseph understood them, for he spoke to them through an interpreter.
Today, the Holy Spirit shall breath upon you for greater exploit in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
A lot of Christians today has a similar story with Joseph, the son of Jacob. We are familiar with his story. He was sold out by his blood brothers, bought by a slave master, went into slavery, was lied against and finally imprisoned. Many thought that was his end, none ever looked for him nor remembered him. But God was working on him through out those period.
During those times, Joseph was able to learn the language of the Egyptians fluently and was conversant with it. Even in the prison, he interpreted dreams with their language. When he met the king, we aren’t told he was using any interpreter, meaning, he spoke to the king in Egyptian’s language. He was able to hear and speak the language that his brothers never realize it was the same Joseph they sold out.
What are you learning in that challenge? God wants to teach you some lessons. He want to show you new things you know not. Are you just seeing the challenges or utilizing it to get knowledge? Many go through hardship, made it, but couldn’t sustain it because, they’ve refuse to learn during the challenging time. There is something God want you to gain from that situation. Stop focusing on the negatives, see the positive side in that situation. Gain new experience. The examination time is coming when your experience will be tested. Open up yourself to learn new things in that situation of yours, God Is still working on you.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: GOD AT WORK IN US: Wait For The Set Time (2)

MEMORY VERSE:
John 5:17
“17. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

BIBLE READING:
Jeremiah 29:10-12
“10 For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.”
Welcome to this new week, our going out today will be result oriented and our coming in will be with harvest of proof in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God hasn’t forgotten neither has He abandoned you. He is working on you and for you. It doesn’t matter what you are going through, God is still on your matter. Listen to this,
“11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
This is the promise of God to us all, but before this, there is a specific time assigned to us before He perfect His plans for our lives.
Let me paraphrase it this way,
“10 For thus says the LORD: After seventy (some) years are completed at Babylon (in that challenge of yours), I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place, (your rightful place).”
What He says He will do, He will do. You don’t have to run to men but wait on God. Man only promise without fulfilment, but God has the ability and the power to speak and achieve what He says.
As my Father in the Lord, Rev. Steve Ayegunle, will always say, “God can never be late, He can only come later.” That later is when you need Him. That is the set time He has predestined for your glorification. Stop comparing your case with someone else, you have different assignment and different timing. Wait for your set time. That time will surely come and the work will be completed in you.
Good Day and God bless you.
