Week 45, Day 2:
Monday, 6th November, 2023.

TOPIC: Walking In The Wisdom Of God.
Accessing Wisdom – By Asking (6)

MEMORY VERSE:
Luke 2:52.
“52. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”

BIBLE READING:
James 1:5.
“5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
Happy New working week to everyone wherever you are, This new week will work for our progress in Jesus Mighty name, it shall lead to purpose fulfillment in our lives in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Today, our focus is “ACCESSING WISDOM” how do we access the wisdom of God. We’ve been made to know that wisdom of God differentiate one from others, and any endeavour one is involved needs wisdom of God. The first way to access wisdom is by Asking God. We all know that a close mouth is a close destiny, although, God knows our needs but he wants us to ask as confirmation of His desires for us, that is why He sees a blind man and still ask “what do you want me to do for you?” We need to ask God for wisdom the same way we ask for His protection, provision and profit in our dealings. God is not stingy not to give us what we ask of Him no matter the size or weight, He will always give us. According to Apostle James, he said is anyone lacking wisdom?, Let Him ask, remember Jesus said in Matthew 7:7, Ask and you shall receive… Until we ask He’s not sure we need it. He also said in John 16:24,
“24. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, That Your Joy May Be Full.”
Meaning, we have access to ask for anything, of which wisdom is the most important one. The first way to access wisdom is to ask God every moment, wisdom to know what to do, what to say, what to request and when to say it. This week, we will walk in the wisdom of God as we ask Him this morning in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 42, Day 5:
Thursday, 19th October, 2023.

TOPIC: Paul’s Admonition: Be Hard Working (5)

MEMORY VERSE:
Philippians 2:12.
“12. Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

BIBLE READING:
Ephesians 4:28
28 If you are a thief, quit stealing. Instead, use your hands for good hard work, and then give generously to others in need.
Today’s word from Apostle Paul’s admonition says, “Be Hard Working to be Generous”. Apostle was encouraging us not to be lazy and depend on others. We shouldn’t take advantage of others by denying them the enjoyment of their hard earn fruit. Yes, as christians, we need to be spiritual and also work with our hand to be a blessing. Taking advantage of others by stealing, robbery, begging and forcefully taking what belongs to others doesn’t make us a follower of Jesus Christ. We are to live by the works of our hands, being diligent at what God has assigned us to do as work. There is something God has enabled you to know how to do without frustrating others.
As Christians, we are to be a blessing not a burden. We’re to be responsible father, mother, brothers and sisters. God didn’t call us to frustrate others but to lift and comfort one and other. Let him/her that thief quit stealing and work his/her hands, carter for his/her household and also be a blessing to others in need. Get up and do something with your hands and brain, in doing that is what the blessings of the lays.
Good Day and God bless you.
