Mobile Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 48, Day 2, Monday, 29th November 2021.

TOPIC: TRANSFORMATION (CONTINUATION). Transformation By Prayer

Memory Verse: Romans 12:2
“2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Bible Reading: 1 Chronicles 4:9-10.
9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.
10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
(We sincerely apologies for our failure to send Mobile Daily Devotional for some weeks. To the Glory of God we are back and we pray such will never arises again in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.)
We will continue on the Topic Transformation.
The source of all forms of transformation is prayer. Transformation is not a product of living life any how or depending on God without reaching out to him. He knows what we need but He wants us to make the request. Many at times, He might show you the who you are meant to be, where He is taking you to, but He needs your permission before leading you there. You might see yourself in dreams or by prophesy that, this and this will come to pass in your life, Yes, it might be the truth, He is only letting you know but you need to cry out to Him in Prayers.
Jabez was made to know that, his present life was not what it should be. He saw difference between himself and others. He realizes there must be a reason and made His findings until he discovered, things went wrong from the onset, this made him crave for transformation from the Almighty God through prayer. And God answered all he requested, meaning, God has been expecting him to come to him all along but he never knew. May be you are yet to discover yours, I pray with you today, may your eyes be open to that needed transformation. Go to God in prayers like Jabez and Jacob, turn your situations around. Stop living like someone else and start living your real life through fervent prayers. May God grant you the understanding in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Good morning.

Week 44, Day 6,
Friday, 5th November 2021.

Topic: TRANSFORMATION 6:

Memory Verse: Romans 12:2

“2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 30:1-6.

“1 Now it happened, when David and his men came to Ziklag, on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the South and Ziklag, attacked Ziklag and burned it with fire,

2 and had taken captive the women and those who were there, from small to great; they did not kill anyone, but carried them away and went their way.

3 So David and his men came to the city, and there it was, burned with fire; and their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive.

4 Then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
5 And David’s two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the widow of Nabal the Carmelite, had been taken captive.
6 Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.”

Transformation can also come in form of Recovery: taking back what you’ve lost or stolen possession. You can be transformed by getting back your inheritances being denied for a while. I pray for someone today, you will recover all in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Very familiar with our Bible reading today, David lost all that was important to him; what he has left as family – his immediate family and the families of warriors who stood by him for years, everything was stolen away. But he experience a great transformation by recovering all of them back. Some might be the recovery of your lost right, position, marriage or other important things. You can recover it back, God will transform that situation of yours to put a smile and laughter on your face again in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Your case will be transformed this week, God will transform you from whom you are to who you want to be in Jesus Precious name.

Good morning.

Topic: TRANSFORMATION 5: Change Of Location.

Memory Verse: Romans 12:2
“2 And do not be  conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Bible Reading: Gen. 12:1-4
1 Now the LORD had said to Abram: “Get out of your country,  From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you  And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you;  And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” 4 So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken  to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.
Transformation is not always easy and convenient, most times it’s against our present desire or what we love or what we’re used to. Transformation can be say to be, “releasing something to take up new one”. For every form of transformation there’s always a price to pay.
Abraham, Jacob, Joseph all needed to change their present location before their transformation  manifested. After they left their comfort zone, they all experienced transformation. Daniel wouldn’t have been known if he wasn’t relocated. Stop being too static, be moveable for your transformation. Listen to God for the next location to go and move immediately. Your transformation might be waiting for your relocation. Seek God’s face if you need reposition.
Good morning.

Week 44, Day 4,

Topic: TRANSFORMATION 4: Through Deliverance.

Memory Verse: Romans 12:2
“2 And do not be  conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Bible Reading: Math. 8:28-34.
“28 When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way.
29 And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”
30 Now a good way off from them there was a herd of many swine feeding.
31 So the demons begged Him, saying, “If You cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of swine.”
32 And He said to them, “Go.” So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water.
33 Then those who kept them fled; and they went away into the city and told everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.”
Transformation through deliverance is when God rescued you from some certain powers and control. Deliverance is not just going to church to be delivered under three days fasting and prayers or going to the mountain for Marathon prayers, it is the act of God setting you free from powers in charge of your life. Many believe that deliverance is meant for those under the influence of demonic powers alone, No, being an addict to some certain things, smoking, womanizing, anger, lies, fighting, gossiping, criticism and any form of attitude that’s against God, makes one seek for deliverance.
Jesus saw the two possessed men, with the spirit of insanity, and transformed them to sane men. They became different men, renewed and rebranded, a transformed personality after the touch of Jesus. I pray with you this morning, no matter what you are addicted to that you desire to be delivered from, the power in the name of Jesus break you loose in Jesus Mighty name, you are transformed from what you dislike to what you desire in Jesus Precious name. Ask God to transform you to suit His purpose for you life.
Good morning.

Week 44, Day 3,

Topic: TRANSFORMATION 3: Life Transformation

Memory Verse: Romans 12:2
“2 And do not be  conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Bible Reading: Gen. 32:24-30
“24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.
25 Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He  wrestled with him.
26 And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!”
27 So He said to him, “What is your name?” He said, “Jacob.”
28 And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
29 Then Jacob asked, saying, “Tell me Your name, I pray.” And He said, “Why is it that you ask about My name?” And He blessed him there.
30 So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: “For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”
Transformation can come in form of life and attitude transformations: changing from bad habit to good ones. Jacob was a supplanter, he was a cheater. He deceived his brother twice to take what belongs him. He left home with the blessings of Esau and stayed with his uncle where He also amuse wealth and family for himself. But a day came when he realized who he truly was, one who claims what belongs to others. Transformation was needed in his life, a change of attitude, change of name, was needed for Him to be a good person, and he took the bull by the horn. He saw an angel and wrestled with him until his name was transformed.
Until you discover the who you are now, you will never crave for transformation. Until you realize a need to change your bad behaviour, the way you treat others, you will never see a need for a change of life. Transformation begins from individual’s heart.
Do you really need transformation? What is the you, that you need to transform? Start working it out, then God will be available to perfect it in your life.
Good day.

Topic: TRANSFORMATION 2: Change In Position

Memory Verse: Romans 12:2
“2 And do not be  conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Bible Reading: 1 Kings 19:19-21.
“19 So he departed from there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he was with the twelfth. Then Elijah passed by him and threw his mantle on him.
20 And he left the oxen and ran after Elijah, and said, “Please let me kiss  my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.” And he said to him, “Go back again, for what have I done to you?”
21 So Elisha turned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen and slaughtered them and boiled their flesh, using the oxen’s equipment, and gave  it to the people, and they ate. Then he arose and followed Elijah, and became his servant.
Transformation comes in different ways which we will be digging out for the remaining days of the week. Transformation comes in “Change in Position”. This change can be a “Calling into” something for God. God transforms people He wants to use for himself.
Elisha was a mechanise farmer, well comfortable, but transformation came upon His life and he was called into the ministry of the prophet. He’s position was change, he was transformed to God’s vessel from a professional farmer.  I hope you are not struggling with God in this area of transformation? Is God telling you to drop what you studied for what He has created you to be and you felt it’s an insult on your personality? Be yea transformed by the renewing of your mind to what He has called you into. Accept the change in position and be made to whom He created you to be. You can only succeed in what He transformed you into.

Week 44, Day 1,

Topic: TRANSFORMATION 1: A New Heart.

Memory Verse: Romans 12:2
“2 And do not be  conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Bible Reading: Ezekiel 36:26-27
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I  will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
Transformation is the reason why God sent His only begotten son to die for the world. God’s desire is, to see the world He designed at creation coming to reality. A world where sin never exist, where love rules and peace reigns. After the creation, in Genesis 6, God said, “5 Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.”
Since then, God wants a man with a repented heart that will do His will. What is this transformation? Is the ability to see things “The God Way”. To know and recognise sin as sin
and run from it. How can this be possible? It is through a new heart: a changed heart, a heart that see things with the mind set of God. He said, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”
Do you possess that new heart? Do you identify sin or accept it as way of life? The beginning of this transformation is what we call “Being Born Again”. When reasoning about life changes, when you begin to identify sin and stop calling it a way of life? Are you really transformed? If no, seek for that new heart from God. It’s available for you.
Good morning.

Topic: YOUR MOUTH:YOUR POWER 6: Let Your Mouth Speak For God

Memory Verse: Pro. 21:23
23 Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles.

Bible Reading: 1 Sam. 17:43-47
43 So the Philistine said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come to me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.
44 And the Philistine said to David, “Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field!”
45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
46 This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will  give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a  God in Israel.
47 Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD’s, and He will give you into our hands.”
This was the source of David’s victory,
It wasn’t the sling that got the Job done, it was his first word about God. He never said I come to you with my experience, slings nor stone but “in the name of the Lord of Host…’
Many of us put God as the last option. Our priorities are more than God Himself. We consider many things before calling God into action. When we use our mouth to place God first, the situation becomes softer and easier. When our mouth is filled of whom God is and what God can do about our situation, then God works according to our expectations of Him.
Speak to God as David  did with His mouth. Put God first in all your words. Mike Murdock said, “start all conversation with God’s word and end it with God’s word” do the same from today on. Let your mouth speak of what God can do always. Don’t depend on your understanding, experience and your tool, let your mouth perfect the work by putting God first.
Good morning.

Topic: YOUR MOUTH:YOUR POWER 5: God Hears What You Say (Positive and Negative)

Memory Verse: Pro. 21:23
23 Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles.

Bible Reading: Numb. 14:24-28
24 But My servant  Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall  inherit it.
25 Now the Amalekites and the  Canaanites dwell in the valley; tomorrow turn and move out into the wilderness by the Way of the Red Sea.”
26 And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
27 “How long shall I bear with this evil  congregation who complain against Me? I have heard the complaints which the children of Israel make against Me.
28 Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the LORD, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you:
If our life is judged by what we say according to verse 28, then why do we even complain and grumble in any situations?
Beloved, our confession matters in the face of any situation, either positive or negative. God, the creator of Heaven and Earth, also spoke for all we have today to be.
Our Bible reading talks about God’s response to the 12 spies who were splited into two different groups. Caleb and Joshua group won the heart of God, why? Through positive declaration.
So, when God said, Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the LORD, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: the positive minded people were also included and God did according to their declaration to God’s hearing.
It doesn’t matter how terrible our children may be, no matter the situation let us try and see it with a positive eye and make a positive declaration concerning it. No one is in a situation that they desire but what we say in that situations determine our way out of the situation. Always remember this, God is listening to whatever you say with your mouth, say what you want not what will destroy you.
Good morning.

Topic: YOUR MOUTH, YOUR POWER. 4: Speak Faith Not Just Fact

Memory Verse: Pro. 21:23
23 Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles.

Bible Reading: 2 Kings 4:17-23
17 But the woman conceived, and bore a son when the appointed time had come, of which Elisha had told her. 18 And the child grew. Now it happened one day  that he went out to his father, to the reapers.
19 And he said to his father, “My head, my head!” So he said to a servant, “Carry him to his mother.”
20 When he had taken him and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died.
21 And she went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, shut the door upon him, and went out.
22 Then she called to her husband, and said, “Please send me one of the young men and one of the donkeys, that I may run to the man of God and come back.”
23 So he said, “Why are you going to him today? It is neither the New Moon nor the Sabbath.” And she said, “It is well.”
Our Bible reading is about the Shunamite woman who was a philanthropist by nature. She was wealthy and so sensitive to the need of others without expecting a pay back, but she was without a child of her own.  One day, her nature led her to meet the need of Prophet Elisha, A double portion Prophet, and she went to the extent of furnishing a house for him. But when her reward came, she proved to be a woman who speaks negatively despite her gift of giving.
Many Christians today are vessels in the hand of God but our problem is, “speaking contrary to God’s words”. We focus on facts more than faith, and that was who the Shunamite woman was. But when the word of God came to pass in her life, by the power of the word of the Prophet, her words changed. She became a positive speaking person. When her child died, she told her husband “all is well” even when it wasn’t well.
How many times have you doubted the word of the Lord to you through the scripture and His servant? Your word determines what you allow in your life. According to the confession of this woman so was what she received. Let your words reflect what God once told you not what the present situation is saying.
Declare what you want in faith not what you see as fact. Say what God has promised you not how the situation looks like because your mouth determines what God will do.
Good morning.
