TOPIC: WHO ARE YOU 5: Are You A Good Leader?

Memory Verse: John 1:19
“19 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to  ask him, “WHO ARE YOU?”

Bible Reading: John 21:17
“17 He said to him the third time, “Simon,  son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.”
Who is a leader? They are those called to show others the right path in life, not necessary spiritual things alone but in all areas of life. Everyone reading the devotional today is a leader in one area of life. As long as you have people looking up to you, (age is not a barrier), you are a leader. Married man, A leader in the home. Married woman role model and a leader to the children and other women. Leader in the family, place of work, department in Church, financial leaders, nation leader and many more. As long as people have expectation on you, you are a leader. Either first or last born of the family. We may be a follower in one area of life but also a leader in another aspect, but what are you feeding your followers with? Are you showing them the right path or discouraging them? Are you USING them or training them? Do you care for those you are leading? Everyone you are leading are God’s sheep, feed them well.
As a Christian leader, can others follow your path and enjoy God? Politician leaders, do you robber Peter to pay Paul? As a Father, what are you imparting on your wife and children? First born of the family, which way are you treading on? You are chosen to be where you are, to correct the wrongs of your predecessors? Not to tread their path again. Are you a Good leader? Then Feed your followers the right meal. God bless you all.
Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today, May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: WHO ARE YOU 4: Are You A Good Parent?

Memory Verse: John 1:19
“19 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to  ask him, “WHO ARE YOU?”

Bible Reading: Pro. 22:6
“6 Train up a child in the way he should go,  And when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Like the saying goes, “Like Father like Son, like Mother like Daughter”. What are you imputing in your children? What influence do you have over your children starting from their dressing, spoken words, what they watch, where you take them to and who they mingled with. Oh, are you that parent that pampers children, you want them to be expose so you allow them to keep late night outing, well done daddy, well done mummy. If your parent had allowed you to live that way will you look presentable as you are today? No difference between your children and prostitutes out there, all in the name of looking good. How do you handle your children when it comes to money issue? You let them spend without knowing how to save? Was that what made you strong today? How about knowing God through you, can your children boost of that? That your parent failed you doesn’t mean you should fail them. Let’s train up our children in the way they should go and when they grow old, they’ll look back and appreciate our so called strict/ disciplinary upbringing. These children are gifts of God in our lives and we are accountable to God. Are you a Good Parent?
Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today, May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: WHO ARE YOU 3: Are You A Good Child?

Memory Verse: John 1:19
“19 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to  ask him, “WHO ARE YOU?”

Bible Reading: Prov. 1:8-9
“8 My son, hear the instruction of your father, And do not forsake the law of your mother;
9 For they will be a graceful ornament on your head, And chains about your neck.”
With the world we are in today, children has turned the world around. The devil has succeeded in turning children against their parent, elders and even ministers in the name of ‘Old School’ and ‘Wise Idea’ but the foundation of the Lord stands sure. No child can live or be progressive without the blessing of the parent. The God a child first recognises is the parent and if they will be successful in life, they need to honour and respect their parent first of all. In the ten commandment, the scripture said,
Exo. 20:12
“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.
Now, your father may be a drunkards, womaniser, careless and a nonchalant attitude person, the Scripture says, “Honour your father…”
Your mother was a witch according to  your source, she’s a harlot, gave birth to you out of wedlock, she abandoned you and went with another man, my question remains, is she your biological mother? The Scripture says, “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.”
When they give you instructions, didn’t you see it as old knowledge? Even if it’s old school how do you make them see that it’s computer age that we are in? Listen to this, will you be glad that your children relate with you in future the way you are relating with your parent? Are you a Good Child? Think and act wisely.
Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today, May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: WHO ARE YOU 2: Are You A Partner?

Memory Verse: John 1:19
“19 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to  ask him, “WHO ARE YOU?”

Bible Reading: Eccl. 4:9-12
“9 Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.
10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.
11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm  alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Are you a partner in Love? As couples, are you really partners? What is the meaning of partner? It simply means, joint contribution, joint glory and shame, joint report, no segregation between you. Union is made to ease one another not to burden individuals. So many marriages today are filled with selfish desire with contribution. Partners are meant to compliment one another and not the other way round. No matter your individual achievement before marriage, it should shot up after marriage because two are better than one. Are you a real partner in that marriage?
King Solomon said, two are better because they are always there for one another. One lift the other when they fall. One fills the empty gap when it open, that is what a partner in marriage should be. Hope you are not a burden in that marriage? God was the originator of partner in marriage, He has a purpose for it and its clearly stated in our Bible reading today. Check yourself if you are in line with God’s plan in that marriage, Are you a Partner in that Home?
Good Morning.

TOPIC: WHO ARE YOU 1: Are You A Friend?

Memory Verse: John 1:19
“19 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to  ask him, “WHO ARE YOU?”

Bible Reading: 1 Sam. 23:16-18.
16 Then Jonathan, Saul’s son, arose and went to David in the woods and  strengthened his hand in God.
17 And he said to him, “Do not fear, for the hand of Saul my father shall not find you. YOU SHALL BE KING OVER ISRAEL, AND I SHALL BE NEXT TO YOU. Even my father Saul  knows that.”
18 So the two of them made a covenant before the LORD. And David stayed in the woods, and Jonathan went to his own house.”
“Who Are You?” Is the teaching for the week which I want us to answer correctly and individually. Today, we start with, “Are You A Friend?” Many claimed to be friend  but create limitations to what they can do. Some enjoyed friendship of others but those friend has never enjoyed theirs. I once told a friend of mine some years back, that, “I Am Your Friend But You Are Not Mine Friend.” He couldn’t comprehend what I was saying. When someone goes the extra mile on your behalf such is a friend but when you can’t replicate that attitude, you are not a friend.
Let’s listen to a true friend, in the place of Jonathan, the heir to the throne of Israel.
“17 And he said to him, “Do not fear, for the hand of Saul my father shall not find you. YOU SHALL BE KING OVER ISRAEL, AND I SHALL BE NEXT TO YOU. Even my father Saul knows that.”
What a Love! What a Friend! This is the David that His father, Saul, sees as his arch enemy, but friendship made Jonathan see beyond the throne. He saw whom God has predestined David to be and he made sure it came to reality. Are you such a friend? Despite all that your friend has done, didn’t you sabotage his opportunity to reach the throne? What has been your reward to your friend who stood by you in times of need? Didn’t you call them fools for sacrificing their all for you? Are you truly a friend? Listen to this “A Friend determines your End in life. For David to get to the throne of Israel, it was Jonathan that God used, A Friend. Can you be used to lift your friend to his/her ordained position in life? Are you a friend? I pray, your inner eyes be open to see where you’ve got it all wrong in that friendship in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today, May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: A New Month, A Fresh Grace 7: Don’t Take It For Granted.

Memory Verse: Gen. 6:8
“8 But Noah found Grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

Bible Reading: Gen. 9:20-25
20 And Noah began  to be a farmer, and he  planted a vineyard.
21 Then he drank of the wine and was drunk, and became uncovered in his tent.
22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside.
23 But Shem and Japheth took a garment, laid it on both their shoulders, and went backward and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were turned away, and  they did not see their father’s nakedness.
24 So Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done to him.
25 Then he said: “Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brethren.”
The easiest way to forfeit God’s Grace is taking it for granted or abusing it. That you are under the Grace is not a reason for misbehaviour. That you are wealthy is not a reason to be pompous, arrogant, be a drunkard, for sake God or flexing all around. The Grace of God have dos and don’ts. It can be continuous and can be cut short over ones life, likewise, it can be regained, I don’t know how you’ve misuse the Grace of God upon your life, may be you’ve cut it off by your attitude, I decree for restoration in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. The Lord that restored His Grace back to Samson will restore yours back in Jesus precious name.
Noah, got drunk and to his last child, who has never saw his father in such situation, it was like a mirage seeing his father’s nakedness. If he was in his right senses will that be possible? No. But he took the Grace of God for granted. He felt he was enjoying the produce of his work. He thought everything is permissible for him to do under the Grace, but this led to his last born child being cursed for his own carelessness, may God forgive our wrong attitude that has caused others their destiny in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Don’t take the grace of God for granted over your life, watch what you say and what you do. Whatever you do under God’s Grace has a bigger weight. Be careful not to destroy others because of the abundance Grace of God upon you. May God help us to control ourselves under the Grace in Jesus Name, Amen. God bless you.
Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today, May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: A New Month, A Fresh Grace 6: Grace For New Beginning

Memory Verse: Gen. 6:8
“8 But Noah found Grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

Bible Reading: Gen. 8:18-19.
“18 So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him.
19 Every animal, every creeping thing, every bird, and whatever creeps on the earth, according to their  families, went out of the ark.”
When the grace of God is active in ones life, you can’t be forgotten. You will always have a new beginning no matter what you’ve went through. The Grace of God is multifunctional, no stone will be left unturned when it’s active in ones life. Grace for new beginning, restoration will rest upon us all in Jesus precious name, Amen.
Noah, after the rain and the flood, was granted a new beginning, He became the new Adam of His Generation. A new life in a new world, that is the function of Grace. No matter what you have lost, stolen from you, or denied for a long time, Grace of God will give you a new beginning in the powerful name of Jesus. When Grace us speaking, that is when a new thing manifest; new doors open, new marriage emerges, barrenness become fruitfulness, delay is replace with speed, I decree by the power in the name of Jesus, Grace will locate you and give you a new beginning this month in Jesus Mighty name. What effort couldn’t achieve for you, Grace of God will start it this month in Jesus Name, Amen. God bless you.
Good Morning.

TOPIC: A New Month, A Fresh Grace 5: Obedience Enhances God’s Grace

Memory Verse: Gen. 6:8
“8 But Noah found Grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

Bible Reading: Gen. 6:22.
“22 Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.
Do you want to enjoy the flow of Grace? You want to stand out and make God known to the world through you? Obedience is the Key. When Grace singles you out, protects you, just make sure you don’t take it for granted by disobeying God’s word. King Saul enjoyed the grace of God, he was singled out from the smallest tribe to become a king. He was enthroned and proved the grace of God upon his life by defeating the Ammonite to deliver the Jabesh, Gilead, 1 Sam. 11, but through disobedience, he threw away the grace of God upon his life, why? Because he was carried away by his achievement and pride.
Noah would have turned against the instructions of God by deciding to pray to stop the rain or the flood. He can decide to convert the Ark to a source of income but No, the scripture said, “22 Thus Noah did; according to all that God  commanded him, so he did.”
Meaning He did exactly what God said and Grace kept flowing. Nothing sustains Grace like obedience. Seek for the instruction to obey and your Grace will be permanent. Today, Grace will guide you into all truth in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. God bless you.
Good Morning.

TOPIC: A New Month, A Fresh Grace 4: Grace Brings Protection Idea

Memory Verse: Gen. 6:8
“8 But Noah found Grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

Bible Reading: Gen. 6:13-14 & 18.
“13 And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. 14 Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.
18 But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark—you, your  sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.
When the Grace of God is upon you, God gives ideas for protection. He shows ways of escape from every evil ahead. You are exempted from the coming predicaments.  Grace is like a shield and canopy around those who enjoyed grace from God. That Grace will secure you from every evil this month, Amen.
God told Noah, who found Grace before Him, ” Am tired of all I created but Grace preserved you and I want you only to exist in this world, so therefore, this is the idea for your safety, An Ark”. When we operate under the Grace of God, ideas for safety from every form of evil is always available per time per chance. I decree upon you this morning, Grace that will preserve you rest upon you, abide with you, give you daily idea for safety in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. This month, your safety is unnegotiable, grace will secure you and your household in Jesus Precious Name, Amen.

Memory Verse: Gen. 6:8
“8 But Noah found Grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

Bible Reading: Gen. 6:9.
“9 This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah  walked with God.”
Noah was a different man in his generation. He was so different that God singled Him out of a corrupt world. He walked in the way of the Lord, uprightly and this earned him God’s Grace. The Grace of God is attracted by a unique attitude. This month, dare to be different in your endeavours with men and God. Seek to please Him like never before. May the Grace of God locate us through our walk with Him, may we please Him with our attitude. This month, we will be remember for good in Jesus Mighty name.
