Day 6: How Are You Using Your Youthfulness?

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:2
2 You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.

BIBLE READING:
Ecclesiastes 12:1-2
“1. Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
2. While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:”
In life, we have three stages to go through, The Childhood, The Youthful and The Old age stage. One leads to another and they are all interwoven. At the childhood stage, you are under the tutorlage of your parents, you are being given instructions and showed how to leave your life. The Youthful stage is the stage you define your part, you have control over yourself. This stage is the foundation of your old age. You get mature, decide on who to marry. You manage your marriage and start giving birth. The last stage is when you begin to reap the harvest of your actions in life. If you got it wrong at the Youthful stage you miss the purpose of the Lord for your life.
How are you managing your youthful stage? How are you managing your time, resources, your body and your walk with God? Hope you know you are a role model to other children behind you? Not just your siblings but those kids in your environment. Hope you are putting God first in all your plans? Our reading said, remember your creator in the days of your youth. How you live youthful life is a phase and example to those kids around you, so what are you showing them? Are you building those kids or breaking them with your Youthfulness? Are you destroying marriages or planning towards a better marriage for yourself? What are you passing on?
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 5: As A Minister, What Are You Passing On?

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:2
2 You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.

BIBLE READING:
1 Timothy 3:1-6.
1. This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3. Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4. One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5. (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6. Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
Minister of The Gospel; Apostle, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors, Teachers and Helpers in Ministry (all the department and unit in the church), we are all guided by the same qualifications before we can serve before God’s altar. With the scriptural verse above, let’s ask ourselves, are we qualified to serve on God’s altar? Are we still walking with those qualifications? And if Yes, what are you passing on to other upcoming ministers?
Are we not being carried away with duties that has no link with our calling and running after things of the world? Flirting around with members, using members and taken advantages of members?  Hope you are not seeing yourselves as the God we prayed to? Sir’s and Ma’s, what are you passing over to the next generation? Are we not depending on our strength rather than the Holy Spirit? Are we not being ruled by position and anointing without the Giver? What are you passing across to the next workers and vessels coming after you?
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 4: As A Leader, What Are You Passing On?

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:2
2 You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 78:70-72.
“70. He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:
71. From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.
72. So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.
Today, we are speaking to everyone in the position of a leader. I keep repeating this, everyone is a leader in one area or the other. There are people we are all called to serve at a point in time. How are you leading; Tribalism, Religiously, Selfishness or Ruling with iron hand? Most leaders forgot where God brought them from, who they were in time past and How God changed their lives, now, you are ruling instead of leading. You are always the Commander-In-Cheif. You oppress those under you forgetting that the position you are was occupied by someone before. You felt that is the end of life, what are you passing on to others coming after you? What example are you teaching them?
God saw a trait of Leadership in David while He was still a Shepard boy and called him to lead the house of Jacob. The scripture said,
“72. So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.”
He led with that integrity of his heart. What are you feeding those you are leading? God saw the trait of Leadership in you, placed you in position but you are being ruled by position and power, are you leading with integrity of heart? Can you be glad to say, I have taught them the way to live as a leader? Check yourself today, look behind you, are you still leading or you are taking a stroll?
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 3: As A Mother, Are You Responsible?

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:2
2 You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.

BIBLE READING:
1 Timothy 2:9-11.
“9. In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
10. But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
11. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.”
Mothers and Sisters, what are the young ladies learning from you? What example are you showing them? Are you a role model or you are destroying their lives? You encourage others to speak against their spouse, to nag the man till he raise his hand against them. You tell ladies to demand what their spouse can’t provide so they can look like their mates, are you really destroying lives or building them? Your dressing is another angle that can’t be discuss, no difference between you and those  called prostitute. You claim God looks at the heart but you’ve forgotten that human is after appearance. You lead men and ladies to destructions every day with your habit. You put aside the words of Apostle Paul which says your way of life should encourage the younger generation. What are you teaching your children with your habit? Your words and your attitude to your husband and co-worker in church and place of work? It’s time to check on yourself  and pass on the right attitude to the coming generation because the past generation never lived this way. Check yourself up, what are you passing on?
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 2: As A Father, Are You Responsible?

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:2
2 You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.

BIBLE READING:
Proverbs 22:6.
“6. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
As a father, what examples are you showing your children? What are you teaching them? What upbringing are you giving? There is 80% assurance of each of your children inheriting what’s in you. What are you passing over?
Yes, smoking won’t be the reason to go to hell neither drunkenness but your body, the temple of God, life span is reducing on a daily basis. When you are a smoker, how can you train a child that it’s bad to smoke? When you send your children to your concubines what are you teaching them? When you raise your hands against your wife, it’s just a confirmation that it’s right to beat women. If all you do is to come home late at night, become a lion to your children, it’s a pass over to them.
Training a child is not about beating or speaking to them alone, but it includes our attitude towards others and our family members.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 1: Truth Or False?

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:2
2 You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.

BIBLE READING:
1 Kings 13:18-19.
“18. He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.
19. So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.
This week we will be examining ourselves on what we are passing onto others, as leaders, spouse, parents and spiritual leaders. What do you show others, or what steps are you taking that you want others to follow. This speaks to everyone of us and I pray we will be able to make amendments in Jesus Mighty Name.
A senior prophet of God, seeing that the Lord revealed His plans to a younger and a stranger, was very wrath and acted against the younger prophet. From our Bible Reading today, the senior prophet went after the younger prophet and deceive him. He lured him back against the instructions of God which led to the killing of the younger Prophet. Was he really sent to bring the younger prophet home? No, then, why did he went that far to destroy a prophet of God? Because he was jealous. What are you doing to others out of jealousy? What are you saying concerning others in other to have your way, falsehood or truthfulness? Yes the younger prophet was killed by a lion, but do you think the senior prophet won’t be dealt with by the Lord? No, God will also deal with him. Remember, the young prophet’s tomb was refered to years later? That’s to show that God will still figth for that fellow you are destroying, but this is the question, what footstep are you showing others? What are you teaching men to do to others? Check out your attitude today and live a truthful life.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

TOPIC: FATHER, I NEED YOU MORE 7: Boldness To Preach The Gospel.

MEMORY VERSE:
John 15:5.
“5. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

BIBLE READING:
Matthew 28:18-20
“18. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Another reason why we need God is to be able to make known the sacrifice of His Son to the lost souls, to be able to preach the Gospel everywhere at anytime. The presence of the Lord with us gives us the boldness to speak for Him, to be His representative and Ambassador here on Earth. The presence of God around you eradicate shame and fear of affliction about the Gospel. That was what was active in Apostle Paul when He said in, Romans 1:16.
“16. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
This boldness can only come when the Lord dwells in us. Without Him it will be difficult to speak to the lost soul and this is our main goal as Christians. The present world today need this message more than ever before. Jesus promise to be with us while doing this work across the world. When last did you speak to others about Jesus? When did you speak to someone that “Jesus Loves You”? With God inside of you and with you, you have the boldness to preach to lost soul.
We are all mandated to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but without Him in our lives we can’t be bold to Preach. We need Him more than ever before.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

TOPIC: FATHER, I NEED YOU MORE 6: Unspeakable Joy Always

MEMORY VERSE:
John 15:5.
“5. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

BIBLE READING:
2 Corinthians 9:15.
“15. Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
In the Presence of God is Unspeakable gifts which includes Joy that overcome the feelings of every occurrences. This is another reason why we need the Lord around us always. His presence is attached with uncontrolled Joy without reasons. People just keep complaining that, “You are always joyful”, it’s as a result of God in you. Even in the mist of difficulties, the Joy that the Lord is with me resist the every negative feelings present.
Psalms 16:11.
“11. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
When the Lord is in-charge of our lives we find it easier to smile and be joyful come what may because His Presence brings Joy. Also, His Joy brings strength to handle every situations around. There are times we act negatively because of lack of joy within. The Joy of the Lord within us brings calmness in the mist of situation and renew our strength according to Nehemiah,
Nehemiah 8:10.
“10. Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: Neither Be Ye Sorry; For The Joy Of The Lord Is Your Strength.
The presence of the Lord brings Joy that renew our Strength even when we are weak, we are still joyful.
Father, I receive your Presence around me in order to enjoy your Joy every moment. Your presence around me fill’s me with Joy Unspeakable. This is my desire today, in Jesus Mighty Name I prayed, Amen.

TOPIC: FATHER, I NEED YOU MORE 5: Total, Not Partial Success

MEMORY VERSE:
John 15:5.
“5. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 1:3.
“3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The presence of the Lord around us brings complete and total success in all we do. God is not just good in one area and bad in the other area, “He is All Around Filled with Good Success”. God can’t be with us and partial success will be around us, He gives total success, complete success in all areas of life. The presence of God is vital for human because it’s all encompassing.
David said, ‘and whatsoever he does, he prosper’, meaning he succeed, complete success. When God is with you and leading you, your success is not in doubt. I’m not saying you won’t be troubled, challenged or meet oppositions in business and work but, God grants complete success in all. The scripture says, in 3 John 1:2.
“2. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Business prosperity, Spiritual prosperity and Health prosperity is the desire of everyone whom God is leading. When you have God on your side you are in contract with all around Success. You don’t thank God partially you thank Him totally. This month, an end has come to partial success in your life and my life in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Make it a prayer point for today and God will release your answers in Jesus name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

TOPIC: FATHER, I NEED YOU MORE 4: Fight My Battles For Me.

MEMORY VERSE:
John 15:5.
“5. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 14:14.
“14. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”
When the Lord is with us, our enemies becomes the enemy of God. The psalmist said,
Psalms 68:1
“1. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.”
One of the reasons we need God around us is to fight our battles, resist every power we can’t handle. When God is with us, battles are won on our behalf, we only see the surface of the battles but God handles the real battles. That was the secrets the Israelite never understood when they were going through the wilderness. God was with them and they won every battles that came their ways.
This was the confidence Moses had when He was speaking with the Israelite that, The Lord will fight their battles because He was sure of the presence of the Lord leading them. No battles is too big for God to handle. As long as His is with us He will fight all our battles.
Prayers.
Father, I need you to handle the battles of my life, I’m tired of handling it all alone. Arise Oh Lord and fight my battles for me. Defeat every battle that seems undefeatable in my Life, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
