TOPIC: TRY AGAIN 7: Keep praying Till Things Changes

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 7:7
“7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

BIBLE READING:
Luke 18:1-5.
“1. And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2. Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3. And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5. Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.”
Beloved, that things doesn’t work the way you planned it, is not a reason to quit praying and trying this year. That your hope were dashed early in the year shouldn’t make you loose hope of change this year. Persistency is the Key. Keep trying and praying is the secret, because, “Nothing good comes easy”, so, to enjoy the best this year we need to be persistent with our prayers and actions.
Jesus speaking in parable about a Judge who neither fear God nor man. He believes in what he’s ready to do and otherwise. He has no regard for anyone, so he made himself a god. But because of the persistence of the widow, he had to listen to her plie and avenge her of her adversary. That is the power of persistent. I want to encourage us all, this year is not a year to give up but a year to give it all. A year to put in your best as you pray for fulfilment. Your persistent will bail you out this year. You will not labour in vain, neither will you pray in vain, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Good Morning and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 2, Day 6:

TOPIC: TRY AGAIN 6: Go Further

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 7:7
“7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 13:17-19
“17. And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORD’S deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.
18. And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed.
19. And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.”
Prophet Elisha was visited by King of Israel, King Joash, during the last days of the Prophet. He was on a sick bed which led to his death. Prophet Elisha gave the King an instruction to shoot an arrow which was prophetic, and the King did. He also instructed him to smite the ground with the arrow and the King smote it but three times, and the prophet was angry at king. “Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times, then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it”. And the prophet died. The king couldn’t went further to smite the ground which imply limited victories over Syria.
There are times in our lives that we quit so early because of little achievement. We felt, “This is okay for me”. “I’ve tried enough than others so let me rest a little”. That is not the level God expected of you. Go further. Extend your tent and add more strength to turn the situation around. When you felt your strength is drained, it’s a trick of the enemy to limit your victory. It’s not time to celebrate yet, move further. The scripture says in, Isaiah 54:2-3.
“2. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
3. For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.”
Go further, don’t prepare a resting tent yet, you have more grounds to cover. Smite the ground more.
Good Morning and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 2, Day 5:

TOPIC: TRY AGAIN 5: Tricks Of The Enemies

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 7:7
“7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 1:13 & 15.
“13. And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.
“15. And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.”
Our Bible Passage today is a familiar chapter of the Bible which we’ve digested to the fullest. But I want us to see it from another angle today. King Ahaziah was wrath with Prophet Elijah because he kept revealing the intentions of the king before they were pronounced, so The Bible said in 2 Kings 1:9
“9. Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down.”
This is how our enemies are targeting us. They rise against us because we have become thorn in their flesh. We are familiar with what happened to the two sets of captains and their fifties. But the king never relented, as our enemies are not relenting against us. The king had a mind set of, “Let Me Try Again” and the Lord granted his desire, although it didn’t work for him at the end. The third Captain came and humbled himself and the Angel told Elijah, “Go down with Him” which means, the King’s intention was granted. If you give up the devil will defeat you. In order not to be defeated you need to keep calling fire to consume everything that’s trying to bring you down. The enemy also apply this principle of “Try Again” but I pray today, he will keep failing concerning us in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Don’t give in to oppositions, keep trying again and again to defeat his determination, and God will rise to your defence in Jesus name. Keep resisting the devil and his tricks, very soon, we will overcome in Jesus name, Amen.
Good Morning and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: TRY AGAIN 4: Stay And Keep Digging.

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 7:7
“7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 26:22.
“And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”
Isaac, the promised child of Abraham, was trapped in the land of Gerar by God who commanded him not to leave for Egypt. We could see how great he became while staying in the same land where there was famine. The scripture said, in Genesis 26:13
“And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:”
Despite all this greatness, he was opposed by Abimelech, King of Gerar, who sent him packing to the valley. While in the valley, he was left alone. The herdmens of Gerar still made sure he has no access to drinking water. Every well dug by His father’s servant, they filled up with earth but Isaac kept digging more well. He stick to what God told Him, “Dwell in this land… Genesis 26:2”, and he kept digging more wells until there wasn’t strive over a new well dug and which was filled with water. Don’t change location if you are under God’s instructions and leading, keep digging, no matter the oppositions. Stay tuned and keep trying in that field, don’t quit. In that carrier, don’t run. Keep improving on yourself. Dig down the more until your enemies come bowing before you. Stay within God’s instructions and keep digging deep, and those promises will be fulfilled this year in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Good Morning and God Bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 2, Day 3: Tuesday, 10th January, 2023TOPIC: TRY AGAIN 3: Keep Praying : Keep Trying.

Week 2, Day 3:
Tuesday, 10th January, 2023

TOPIC: TRY AGAIN 3: Keep Praying : Keep Trying.

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 7:7
“7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

BIBLE READING:
1 Kings 18:42-44.
To make the year better, as we’ve been digging the scriptures this week, we need to Keep Praying as we Keep Trying. This two processes are not to be separated. We don’t just keep going from pillar to post without praying about the issues at hand, also, we don’t keep praying without taking the action of trying Again and Again, this two processes should go concurrently. We need to understand that, prayer changes things but God also wants us to take actions. It’s time to Praying while Acting.
We are all familiar with the story of Elijah. God called and promise to give rain but it wasn’t pouring yet. Then Elijah decided to pray for the rain. There is a lesson to learn here, He still needed to Pray to God fervently to send His promises. You need to pray for those promises to come to pass come what may. Then as he was praying, he kept sending his servant to check for the rain. He kept checking till the seventh time until a sign was seen. As you are praying, you need to always check around for the sign of that rain. You need to go out and ask, “Have you changed your mind about my job?” “Have you forgiven me of my wrongs?” You need to act along with the prayers. Many keep praying but lack of checking around has made us lost the signs and miracle, that will not be your portion again in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Stand up and check around for the awaited miracle. Try again, check again, go to the doctor to reconfirm what you are praying for. The Lord has perfected it. Keep Trying as you Keep Praying.
Good Morning and God Bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 2, Day 2: Monday, 9th January, 2023TOPIC: TRY AGAIN 2: Lot Tried Accommodating The Angels

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 2, Day 2:
Monday, 9th January, 2023

TOPIC: TRY AGAIN 2: Lot Tried Accommodating The Angels

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 7:7
“7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 19:1-3
“1. And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
2. And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
3. And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
If there was anything Lot learnt from Abraham it was how to “Try Again”. When he saw the angels he invited them to take the night but they rejected the offer. He pressed the more until they accepted to dwell in his house that night. To try again means to persuade to be of help or get what belongs to you. On before now, I have an attitude, I don’t love to ask for help or even what belongs to me, even when am sure that it’s mine. I realized that I needed to try again and ask for what pertains to me. The scripture said, in Matthew 11:12,
“12. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”
The violent here is talking about those who persist in the race of the kingdom, who persist in asking God for their portion, who refuse to give up on their desires and right.
Many marriages collapse because the man or the woman couldn’t try again or start again. Many lost their job because they couldn’t persuade their interviewer that they can offer their services well. It’s time to try harder to get what belongs to you. Lot tried harder and the Angels succumbed to him and dwell with him that night. If he gave up he would have been destroyed with Sodom and Gomorrah, but he escaped because He learnt not to quit easily. Beg that spouse again. Put more effort In that work again. Go back to that company and try again. You need to forget the shame and try again. This year don’t let opportunities slip over you, try again, you can win this time around.
Good Morning and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 2, Day 1:
Sunday, 8th January, 2023

TOPIC: TRY AGAIN 1: Abraham Tried Six Times.

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 7:7
“7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

BIBLE READING:
Gen. 18:23-33.
This year, 2023, isn’t the same as year 2022, meaning, what doesn’t work last year will work for us this year. Where we have been rejected last year we will be sent for this year. Every losses of last year will be restored back this year in Jesus wonderful name, Amen. This week, am here to encourage you to “TRY AGAIN”, Yes, try those things again as we will all see those who Tried it Again and it later worked for them.
Our Father, Abraham, was called a friend of God. God said how can I destroy Sodom and Gomorrah without informing Abraham. He gave Abraham the detail of His mission and Abraham interceded for the city. He spoke the first time about finding fifty persons who are righteous and God assured Him, because of fifty righteous people the city wont be destroy. Then He tried again about forty-five people, God said no. He kept trying until he got to ten righteous persons and God said, for the sake of Ten righteous persons the city wont be destroy. Truly, ten person were not found in Sodom and Gomorrah but Abraham’s persistency rescued Lot from the destruction of that city because, the scripture says in Genesis 19:29,
“And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.”
To make this year different, we need to try again as Abraham tried and rescue His nephew from the destruction in sodom. How many times have you tried? Two or three times? Try again. How many times have you ask? Ask Him Again for His ears are not deaf to hear us. Try persuading again and you will have a better year ahead.
Good Morning and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 1, Day 6:
Friday, 6th January, 2023.

TOPIC: SECRETS TO SUCCEED IN 2023 7: Serve God.

MEMORY VERSE:
Jos. 1:8.
“8. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 23:25.
“25. And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.”
Success is attached to serving God. If you will do anything that success will be involved, you will need to serve God. Serving God attracts alot from God. It includes increase in all we do, the blessings God, preservation, sustainability. It ends devourer over our business and ministry. To serve God is an investment with lasting reward. Serving God makes God service you in return. Nothing that’s yours will He not watch over.
The blessing of the Lord is attached to His service. No service is a waste while offered to God. He said, “and He shall bless your bread and your water, and take sickness away from you.” If you want to be successful this year, add the service of God to your itinerary. Serving God brings preservation over every endeavours of ours. Dedicate some of your time to the things of God and you will enjoy all around success this year.

Week 1, Day 6:
Friday, 6th January, 2023.

TOPIC: SECRETS TO SUCCEED IN 2023 6: Consistent Instructions From God.

Matthew 1:19-24.
“19. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
20. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
The road that leads to success is filled with Divine instructions, Divine guidances and Divine leading. Those who succeeds doesn’t take steps like other, they are guided on what to do. Instructions from God, godly men, spiritual men who has the mind of God at heart. Moses was guided by God and His father-in-law. Jesus’ coming to the world, through Joseph, was as a result of God’s guidance. Joseph was consistently guided through dream prior to the birth of Jesus and the safety of Jesus after His birth. You need to follow someone who knows the way than you do.
Guidance might be through asking the successful questions, walking with those who has achieved what you intend to achieve. It also include asking God for his will concerning those ideas and steps you are to take. Success is achieved when things are done God’s way, His word says,
“John 15:5, … *_For Without Me Ye Can Do Nothing._*
To be successful this year, you need Divine guidance. Ask Him for His will concerning those endeavours of yours, and you will enjoy success in all you do.
Good Morning and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
