Week 4, Day 3:
Tuesday, 24th January, 2023

TOPIC: LEARNING FROM KING DAVID 3: Direct Access To God.

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 86:11.
“11. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 30:7-8
“7. And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.
8. And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them?….”
God sent Jesus our lord to connect us to Him, by so doing, we have a direct access to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Those days, Abiathar, the Priest, stands as the link between God and David. He was to speak to God on behalf of David. But in a situation where Abiathar, the priest was under the control of emotion, he couldn’t think right at the moment, David took his place and went directly to God. He sent Abiathar to bring the ephod and he took his place.
There are times we need to access God directly without going through any intermediary. We need to take the bull by the horn and speak to God directly. You don’t need to look for a man of God or a pastor but going to God directly on your knees and seek for His intentions concerning the present situation. God is always ready to give an answer in such situation if we can take the risk. I might not know that situation or challenges of yours but I know you can speak to God directly and He will answer you. It’s time to apply a direct access principle and speak to God, He is waiting to hear your cry.
God Morning and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 4, Day 2:

TOPIC: LEARNING FROM KING DAVID 2: Control Your Emotion

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 86:11.
“11. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 30:3-6
“3. So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.
4. Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
5. And David’s two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.
6. And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: But David Encouraged Himself In The Lord His God.
David and his men, were warriors but couldn’t control their emotions when they came back to their camp. His men remembered their losses and intended to stone David because they were controlled by emotions. They all cried including David for their losses and none could comfort the other, including Abiathar, the priest.
This year, there shall be no losses around us in Jesus Mighty Name, no reasons to be stranded in any areas of life this year. Situations may arise in life that one need to show some emotions, no matter the situation we need to be in control of it. To be in control means to be Concerned about the situation and to be controlled by emotions means to be Worried. When you are concerned about situation you think of the way out but when you are worried you just feel that’s the end and you give up. To be concerned bring idea and solution to the present situation. We need to be in control of every situation this year and not the other way round. Until David was concerned about the situation there wasn’t solution. Be in control and be concerned about the situations and your emotions will be defeated. Control your emotions this year.
God Morning and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: LEARNING FROM KING DAVID 1: Dont Fight God’s People

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 86:11.
“11. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 29:1-3.
“1. Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel.
2. And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his men passed on in the rereward with Achish.
3. Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?
Some lessons i will like us to learn from the life of King David before he ascended the throne in Israel, starting from when he rose to fight the children of Israel. He was a fugitive and was hidden in one of the towns of the Philistia. When the house of Israel rose to fight the philistines, David also went with the philistines to the battle field against Israel. With this attitude of him, God was very sad. The Lord of the philistines told the King, David will not go to battle with us, he might turn against us in battle. Then the king obliged and turned David back to ziglak. Before David and his men got back home their camp has been raided by Amalekites, with all their families and belongings being carried away, 1 Sam. 30:1-3.
When you stand against God’s anointed, it’s attracts God’s punishment. When you torment children of God, He has a way of dealing with you. In all your dealings this year, avoid touching the anointed of God; God’s servant, God’s sons and daughters. Don’t use your mouth anyhow against others. God’s word says in Psalms 105:15
“Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
This year, do not trespass as you did last year which led to many loses around you. Watch out, if David was at home without going against God’s people, no nation would have raided his residence. Watch out so your domain won’t be raided this year.
God Morning and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 3, Day 7:
Saturday, 21th January, 2023

TOPIC: DECLARING YOUR YEAR 7: I Will Have Rest All Around This Year

MEMORY VERSE:
Job 22:27.
“27. Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 2:1-3.
“1. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.”
At the Seventh Day,God rested from all His work of creation which made him command us to give ourselves rest in all we do. Rest is a personal decision. You don’t wait for others to give you rest, you decide to give yourself rest as God did. Jesus Christ, rested in the boat after a lot of evangelism work. He was fast asleep when the storm came, Mark 4:38. No doctor’s prescription, He decided to rest. While resting the power was still available to subdue the enemy and it’s tactics. Stop believing the saying, “You Don’t Have Rest Until You Are Dead”, it’s the gimmick of the devil, give yourself rest, it’s a command we must obey daily and weekly. God doesn’t use a dead body but an active and lively soul. This year, you will enjoy rest, you will find rest and take your rest from all situations around in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Father, you rested at the seventh day, Jesus also rested. This year, I will enjoy rest all around me, physically and spirituality, rest in my portion. Rest in my health, finances, in my home, over my business and carrier. No man troubles my peace this year in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Bless you.

Job 22:27.
“27. Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 1:27-31.
“27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
The Lord reserved the best till the end. After creating everything that man will be needing, then He created You and I, in His image, His likeness, as a free entity with the ability to think and reason, what a wonderful God we serve. He beautify us more than all His creature. He made us superior than the angels and gave us the ability to reproduce human. All these and more were done on the sixth day of creation. Then, He blessed us and gave us our responsibility which is to Have Dominion and Rule over all His creature. Have we being living to the Expectations of God?  No. But this year, we will fit into His Expectations for us in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Father, this year, I will be Fruitful, Multiply, Replenish, Subdue and have Dominion over every powers and principalities in Jesus Mighty Name. In my home, family, work place, environment and community, I begin to reign as king In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Job 22:27.

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 1:20-23.
“20. And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
At the fifth day, God created living creatures in the water and in the air. Fishes and Wales in the waters, in their kinds and different species. Fowl of the air in their kind and also in different species. Afterward, God blessed them to be fruitful and multiply, and to fill the waters and the air, none of it did God made to disturb the peace of men. They are to be food for us, we are not to lack them at any time and for any purpose. They are not created to endanger our lives, nor to be used against us spiritually. Is there any area of life that the devil has been tormenting you and I with any of these creature of the fifth day? Today marks the end in Jesus Mighty Name, we shall no more lack them for food and good use in Jesus name, Amen.
Let’s pray to God by saying,
Father, in the name of Jesus, all that you created were for my good even in their multiplications. But Oh Lord, in every areas of life that the evil one has been using the creature of waters and air against my life, Father, arise and subdue them in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Job 22:27.
“27. Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 1:14-19.
“14. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18. And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.”
At the forth day, God created The Sun, The Moon and The Star to give light to the earth from the firmament. These three light were created to establish seasons on earth. They were to organize and establish continuity on earth. They were made for our advantage, that was why David said in Psalms 121:6
“6. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.”
They are not to work against us but work for us. They are to lighten our path both day and night. I pray this morning, the Sun, Moon and Star will work in our favour, they shall be at our advantage this year, by day and by night, they shall preserve our lives in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Pray and say to God;
Father, you created the Sun, The Moon and The Star for my advantage, this year they shall work in my favour, they shall not work against me, against my family and my life, they shall rather bring me joy everlasting this year in Jesus name, Amen.

11. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Job 22:27.
“27. Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 1:6-8.
“6. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
At the second day of creation, God separated the waters from water with the use of firmament, firmament is an empty Space, in order words, He separated the waters with space. Waters was above the firmament and waters was beneath the firmament. Just like when the Lord separated the Red Sea with firmament, space for the children of Israelite, I see God making space for you this year within that waters of problems in Jesus Mighty Name.
He said, I will make a way In the wilderness, just as he made a space between the waters. It doesn’t matter what the situation may be like, this year, God will make space for you to go through in Jesus Mighty Name.

1. Lord, make space for me to go through my difficulties, let there be path in my hardest way this year.

Week 3, Day 1:
Sunday, 15th January, 2023

TOPIC: DECLARING YOUR YEAR 1: Illuminate My Life This Year.

MEMORY VERSE:
Job 22:27.
“27. Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 1:1-5.
“1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
This is the history of the creation which we all believed and hold on to. How God made something out of nothing. When God started establishing the Heaven and Earth, it looks opposite His intentions, but then He called out the Light. Now, mind you, this wasn’t the Sun nor the Moon or the Star, but “ILLUMINATION”, Brightness, Visibility. It’s not everytime the sun is up there in the sky as early as 7am but there is Light. Illumination is not hot, and it create an avenue to see very clearly without a shade of darkness.
I want us to pray in this direction,
Father, Illumination was so important to you while creating the universe, this year I need illumination around my life, Illuminate my life, my work, my family and purpose this year in Jesus Mighty Name. Let hidden path be made visible to me this year by the power of creation, In Jesus Mighty Name I Pray, Amen.
