MEMORY VERSE:
1 Timothy 4:12.
“12. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

BIBLE READING:
Proverbs 15:13
A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
As we round up on the advantages of Admiration, I want us to start putting it to work in our daily activities. To admire other’s achievement is to be positive minded.
4. It brings healthiness.
When you appreciate other’s achievement, you’ll have a free and merry heart. Joy flows within you as if you’ve achieve something great for yourself. You are not heavy hearted or burdened with loads of sentiment. Your spirit isn’t broken for any reason, so, it brings healthiness to your heart. Pro. 17:22
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
5. You find reasons to Prayer more.
Admiring other’s achievement encourages you to pray wholeheartedly for God to also remember you. It gives reasons to ask God for more about your life. It’s just natural to see an achievement of others and say, “God remember me too, lift me up Father.” It’s an heartfelt prayer that goes to God directly. It helps you pray with ease and without comparison.
6. Admiring others achievement create a bond between you and others.
They began to wish you well and open up on what brings about their success. They want you to have an achievement also and encourages you.
Admiration for other’s success leads one to a successful life and birth the same success in one’s life. What brings you joy in others life becomes part of you also. Don’t envy that successful business, ministry, marriage or academic excellence, just admire them, be positive with it and before you realize it, it’s part of you. Drop the envy and pick up admiration and you will be glad you did.

TOPIC: ENVY AND ADMIRATION: What Envy does -2 ? (4)

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Timothy 4:12.
“12. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

BIBLE READING:
Galatians 5:26
Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, ENVYING one another.
Welcome to the continuation of “What Envy Does?” Yesterday, we saw three negative effects of Envy namely; Negative emotion, Strained Relationship and Unhealthy Comparison. Today, we will add more points to those listed yesterday.
4. Lack of gratitude to God: Envy can make it difficult to appreciate and be grateful to God for one’s blessings and achievements. Instead of focusing on what one has, the focus shifts to what other’s possess, leading to a constant sense of lack or insufficiency.
5. Stagnation or self-sabotage: Envy can sometimes lead to lack of motivation or fear of failure. Instead of striving for personal growth or success, individuals may become stuck in a cycle of envy, feeling incapable of achieving their own goals. It kills the zeal to make impact, robs one of his freedom.
6. Resist Help: Envy resist good fortunes and makes other resist helping you. When you are not happy with good news people avoid coming around you and withdraws any needed help you deserve.
7. Lack of Joy and Peace of mind: Envy has the ability to make you sad when you see good things around. It robs one peace of mind, generate negative thoughts and unnecessary anger towards other.
It is important to recognize and manage feelings of envy in a healthy way, such as practicing gratitude, cultivating self-acceptance, and focusing on personal growth rather than comparing oneself to others. Envy entails more energy than the required energy for admiration.

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Timothy 4:12.
“12. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

BIBLE READING:
Galatians 5:26
Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, *ENVYING* one another.
Envy can have various consequences, both for the person experiencing it and for their relationships with others. Some potential consequences of envy include:
1. Negative emotions: Envy often leads to negative emotions such as bitterness, resentment, frustration, or feelings of inferiority. These emotions can have a detrimental impact on one’s mental and emotional well-being. Cain had the same emotion towards Abel until he killed him.
2. Strained relationships: Envy can strain relationships, particularly if it leads to feelings of competition, jealousy, or hostility towards the person who is envied. It can create a sense of distance or resentment between individuals, damaging mutual trust.
3. Unhealthy comparisons: Envy can fuel unhealthy comparisons, where individuals constantly measure themselves against others and feel inadequate or dissatisfied with their own lives. This can lead to a negative self-image and a sense of perpetual dissatisfaction.
Do you exhibit these attitude towards others? If yes, please check yourself for envy. No one can take what belongs to you so stop focusing on what belongs to others.
See you tomorrow for more.

TOPIC: ENVY AND ADMIRATION: What Is Admiration? (2)

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Timothy 4:12.
“12. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 18:1.
“1. And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.”
Yesterday, we digged at the definition of Envy. Today, we shall focus on the definition of Admiration.
What is Admiration?
To admire someone means to have a deep respect, appreciation, or regard for their qualities, achievements, or actions. When you admire someone, you recognize and value their positive traits, skills, or accomplishments. Admiration can be inspired by various aspects of a person, such as their intelligence, talent, kindness, courage, or leadership abilities. It is a positive emotion that often motivates and inspires individuals to strive for personal growth and improvement.
Smile. Digesting this definition and comparing it with the definition of Envy, I believe we all know which is positive and which is negative. Now, the same reason for admiration to someone can also be the same reason for Envy to someone else, It’s a two-sided coin.
Jonathan was King’s Son but He admire the courage of David after killing Goliath. The chapter downward showed how Jonathan gave the attire of a Prince to a mire bush boy like David. To experience breakthrough from limitation you have to admire those who are ahead and not Envy them because positivity attract positivity. Think this things, are you a product of Envy or Admiration? Let’s meet tomorrow as we discuss on thees traits the more.
Good Day and God bless you.

“12. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

BIBLE READING:
Acts 7:9
“9. And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him.”
I welcome you all to this week’s Devotional, as we all know we are in the month of “Breaking Limit”. This Topic before us this week, determines our freedom from breaking Limitations. I pray that the Lord who led us into this topic will reach out to us all in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
What is Envy?
Envying is a feeling of discontent or resentment aroused by someone else’s possessions, qualities, or achievements. It is often characterized by a desire to have what someone else has or to be like someone else. Envy can stem from feelings of inadequacy or a sense of unfairness, and it can lead to negative emotions and behaviors if not properly managed.
Hunnnn! Considering this definition, can we find ourselves locking with envy? Truthful, we need to search ourselves and identify our lust for envy. Don’t deny it, it’s seen in our churches, between members, department and unit, including ministers. When you are not happy or assume something meant for you was denied, check through if the seed of envy is not in you.
I will leave us with this definition of Envy, it’s seeing what belongs to other as yours when you don’t deserve it.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 36, Day 7: Saturday, 9th September 2023. TOPIC: BREAKING LIMITS. Find Means To Thank God (7)

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 36, Day 7:
Saturday, 9th September 2023.

TOPIC: BREAKING LIMITS. Find Means To Thank God (7)

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 124:7.
“7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: THE SNARE IS BROKEN, AND WE ARE ESCAPED.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Thessalonians 5:18.
“18. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
I welcome you to the last day of our study on the topic, “Breaking Limit”, I believe the Lord has opened our eyes to steps to freedom from all sought of limitations. Know this, what you read and hear doesn’t work until you apply it. We need to work it out in order to get the required result. Today, we are closing the theme with the topic, “Find Means To Give Thanks”. No matter the situation we find ourselves, our mouth shouldn’t be for complain all through but giving thanks and God praises. We aren’t thanking God for the limitations but praising Him for what He will do. Remember, when we praise, He executive judgement against our enemy, Ps. 149:6-7.
When Paul and Silas Praised God in the prison, their chains were cut off, Acts 16:25-27. When the children of Israel were faced by four countries in the battle field, Jehoshaphat declared the praise of God and the battle was won with ease, 2 Chronicles 20:18-23. Hear me, Praise God in that situation. When you don’t know what to do again, lift your voice and praise God, give Him the best of your thanks. Refuse to be controlled by limitations, control the situation with the Praise, Worship and give thanks to God, and the mountains will be leveled, valleys will be filled up. It’s time to praise God, forsake complains and hold on to praise.
Prayer:
Father, I choose to praise you than to complain. I choose to thank you than grumbling. Thank you for you always know what to do, I worship you alone, in Jesus Mighty Name I Pray, Amen.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 36, Day 6:
Friday, 8th September 2023.

TOPIC: BREAKING LIMITS. What’s God Saying? (6)

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 124:7.
“7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: THE SNARE IS BROKEN, AND WE ARE ESCAPED.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 14:1-3.
“1. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2. Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.
3. For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.
Breaking Limitations can’t be achieved without God’s involvement. Yes, we are praying, telling God what we want, how He should free us from the cage and chains resisting our movement. We also need to ask God for direction; what He wants us do, how He’s about to deceive our enemy in order to librate us from limitation. Remember, no man’s wisdom can deceive the devil and his coarse except God’s wisdom.
When the Israelite were to be freed from almighty Egypt, God deceived Pharaoh by leading the Israelites toward the Sea and Pharaoh taught they are trapped until his army ended up in the sea. When Joshua was to face Jericho, it was by God’s directives, He told them to go round the wall once for six days and seven times the seventh day and the Wall fell. We need to ask God for the direction to follow, we can escape the devil when Him leads us. Whenever He leads it ends up in freedom.
Prayer:
My Father in Heaven, I depend on your directives. Show me what to do, where to follow and how to escape every limitations around my life. I depend on your wisdom, teach me and break me free from every limitations in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 36, Day 5:

TOPIC: BREAKING LIMITS. Avoided Being Lazy (5)

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 124:7.
“7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: THE SNARE IS BROKEN, AND WE ARE ESCAPED.”

BIBLE READING:
Proverbs 24:33-34.
“33. Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
34. So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.”
Breaking Limit doesn’t end with prayers and fasting. Many have been misled to believe that, the most important secret to end Poverty is prayers and fasting. In a twist of fate, prayer and fasting only enhances what you do with your hands. When you do nothing, nothing will still be the result. Yes, you can pray and fast but you must find something doing to break the limitations of lack. Okay, you have what you are doing, then go the extra mile with it, do it in a new way, learn more ways of doing it afresh. You don’t sit down waiting for things to change, you create a new way of doing things.
King Solomon said, “Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:” When you’re idle, it’s an invite for limitation. It’s a way to stagnation in life. You don’t wait for things to happen, you make them happen. You don’t need to wait for who will help you, sleeping and folding of hands. Praying without action, fasting without taking steps, No, it’s doesn’t work that way. Jesus fasted and prayed, yet He walked around to preach and healed the sick. You need to move out of your comfort zone and go the extra mile to break that limitation around your life. Stop procrastinating what need to be down today. Move out and speak to people about what you can do.
Prayer:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, help me take the right actions towards breaking every limitations around my life, in Jesus wonderful name, Amen.

“7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: THE SNARE IS BROKEN, AND WE ARE ESCAPED.”

BIBLE READING:
Isaiah 49:24-25.
“24. Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?
25. But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.
I’m here to let you know, none is mighty and powerful than God nor any terrible person is untouchable to God, so therefore, we are deliverable from every limitation around our lives. In the name of Jesus, our liberty is declared from every terrible powers over our lives from today, Amen.
Our text today, is an assurance of God’s readiness to rescue those who call to Him for deliverance over every limitations. Some of the reasons for limitation in life may be traced to family background, environment powers, unknown enemies and other sources, but God is always ready to rescue whoever calls to Him. He promised to rescue us from every terrible and mighty one. God went further to say, even if one is lawfully captive, He is ready to deliver such when they depend on Him. There’s no reason for consistent limitation around our lives, and this is why we are crying to God today, to deliver us from every power controlling our destiny.
Prayers:
Father, according to your word, you promised to deliver the captive of the mighty and the terrible. Lord Jesus deliver me from every mighty limiting my progress and destiny fulfilment, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
