Week 45, Day 1:
Sunday, 5th November, 2023.

TOPIC: Walking In The Wisdom Of God.
Negotiate With Wisdom (5)

MEMORY VERSE:
Luke 2:52.
“52. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”

BIBLE READING:
Joshua 2:12-14.
“12. Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father’s house, and give me a true token:
13. And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.
14. And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.”
Happy New week to you all, may our services today be acceptable as we appear before the Lord with our sacrifice in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. To negotiate in any area of life, Wisdom is needed. I remember a Great man of God, Mike Murdock once said, “Negotiate Everything”. To negotiate is not wrong but it’s wrong when negotiation is all about one’s benefit without considering others benefit. There are negotiation that are selfishly oriented, not contributing to other’s life but making yourself the only focus, that’s cheating not negotiation. Negotiating with wisdom means, you’ve impacted that life first before negotiating for your benefit.
Rehab rescued the life the spies sent by Joshua, before negotiating for the lives of Her family. Joseph, in the prison, interpreted butler’s dream before negotiating for His own life, Genesis. 40. Abigail resisted David from committing murder before negotiating for her own life when all go well with David, 1 Samuel 25. Negotiating in wisdom is not self based, is asking for a reward after being a blessing to others. Don’t just negotiate, be a blessing before negotiating, this is wisdom not begging. May we all walk in the wisdom of God in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: Walking In The Wisdom Of God.
Wisdom For Conflict (4)

MEMORY VERSE:
Luke 2:52.
“52. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 13:7-9.
“7. And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and the herdmen of Lot’s cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land.
8. And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.
9. Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.
Beloved, Happy Weekend to you all. Today our focus is the need for wisdom during conflict and crisis. There’s always a way to avoid crisis and conflict in every situations. Everyone sees the signs of conflict before it emanates but we always try to take our stand instead of applying the wisdom of God. Not all battle need to be fought, there are crisis that can be handled before they mature but we choose to wait to handling the crisis without applying wisdom.
Father Abraham brought Lot with him while leaving His father’s house. As they moved together, he also became wealthy as Abraham had wealth and the land was not able to contain them. Abraham, a man of wisdom, saw the seed of conflict between their herdsmen and applied wisdom by calling his nephew to choose anywhere desirable for himself so as to avoid crisis. This is wisdom in display. Lot chose for himself out of greediness but Abraham ended up on the fertile land. You don’t need to wait till crisis grows, you need to kill it by wisdom. Sometimes letting go of something is the needed wisdom to avoid conflict and free oneself from unnecessary situation. Wisdom is needed to succeed in marriage, work place, in your environment and among your siblings. Don’t always prove right, apply wisdom and the devil will fail.
Good Day and God bless you.

Request With Wisdom (3)

MEMORY VERSE:
Luke 2:52.
“52. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 1:13-14.
13. And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.
14. Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.”
Welcome to the continuation of our study on “Walking In The Wisdom Of God.” Yesterday we saw how a wise response changed the mind of Jesus Christ to do what He decided not to do. Today, our study is about ‘Request With Wisdom’. Many has faced a lot of rejection for lack of wisdom in making request. Even in marriage, when spouse don’t know how to present their request with wisdom, it mostly ends absurd and leads to separation or even lost of life in some other areas. How a request is presented matters a lot.
Three captains of fifties were sent to bring Elijah down but only one applied wisdom while making the request. The other two ended their life for not presenting their request wisely. Most time, we are not hated when we are being rejected it’s our presentation that lacks wisdom. The third captain of the fifty applied wisdom and the angel gave Elijah the go ahead to go down with him. How do you present your request? Are you power intoxicated when making your request? Is it with arrogance, pride or “too know” that you’re making your request? Some presented their request angrily, which averted the right response. When you make your request, apply wisdom. Let the wisdom of God guide your mouth and brain, and the angel of God will confirm your request speedily in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: Walking In The Wisdom Of God. Wisdom To Respond (2)

MEMORY VERSE:
Luke 2:52.
“52. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”

BIBLE READING:
Mark 7:26-29.
26. The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.
27. But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
28. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.
29. And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.”
Welcome to the second day of the month of November, the wisdom of God shall single us out this month in Jesus wonderful name, Amen.
Today, we shall be considering the application of wisdom by a greek woman towards Jesus. When we operate in the Wisdom of God, our request can’t be oppose even by Kings. The wisdom of God expressed by this woman drew the attention of Jesus Christ and released her request. Jesus proved to her why her daughter can’t be healed but her response changed the whole idea. With wisdom, marriages can be build and establish. With wisdom loses can be avoided and breakthrough can be achieved. When we possess the wisdom of God things become easier than we thought. We need to ask God for wisdom to respond rightly. Through wisdom, not by right, this woman went home with the healing testimony of her daughter, this month we will be a product of wisdom in Jesus Mighty Name, amen.
Father, baptize me with wisdom to respond rightly in all my endeavour in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

MEMORY VERSE:
Ephesians 5:16
16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.

BIBLE READING:
Mark 10:52.
“52. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.”
Welcome to the last edition of our topic, “Lesson From Blind Bartimaeus”. We bless the Lord for every revelation from the begining of this topic. As we round up today, i like to encourage you to stay put with Jesus when your requests are granted. It’s common to see people turn their back on God after His visitation. The blessings of God gets them distracted, and that was why God said to the Israelites in Deuteronomy 8:17-18, saying,
17. And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
18. But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”
Do not forget God when He turns your life around, Stay Put with God, follow after Him, don’t be carried away by His blessings.
Our text showed us what Blind Bartimaeus did, “And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.” He followed Jesus instantly, no excuse to see his family first, or go back for the garment casted away nor turn to say, “Jesus thank you let me live my life now” but instantly He followed Jesus, why? Because He alone can sustain whatever He gives us. He is the preserver of all His blessing upon us, so we need to follow Him and not turn away from Him. Many have fallen victim of this, by turning against God after granting good job, fruit of the womb, lifting them out of depression, until dryness comes up before coming back to God, let yours not be so. Stick with Him after His blessings and follow Him to preserve what He blesses you with. God bless us all in Jesus Mighty name.

Welcome to a new week, this week shall work for us in Jesus Mighty, Amen. During the earthly ministry of Jesus, many healings were done. A lot received their healings through Jesus’ compassion, mercy and request but many received theirs through Faith in the ability of Jesus which was how Blind Bartimaeus received his. He’s faith made him believe Jesus can heal him and he went for it. Faith isn’t complete without action. Until your vision, purpose, determination is backed up with faith result will remain unseen to others.
Jesus only told him, “Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole.” Prayer nor touch wasn’t needed. No much talk only declaration resting on his faith. Many prayed, fasted, served God but still lack the faith to back it up. After our prayers we reverse into grumbling, complaining and murmuring, so God has no faith to carry out His work. Is your faith intact or buried in unbelieve? Can your faith heal, bless and lift you out of that suppressing state? It’s time to resharpen your faith. Faith makes you take the step, cry the cry and run after that dream. Your faith is the feet on which your request will be considered.
Good Day and God bless you.

BIBLE READING:
Mark 10:51.
“And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, .”Lord, that I might receive my sight”
Beloved of God, as we appear in God’s presence today, may we experience a life changing encounter in Jesus Mighty Name. As continue our teachings on the topic The Blind Bartimaeus, our focus today is “Knowing What You Needs”. This may look small but very important. Many of us thinks our needs are finances or wealth where as our need is what is stopping us from having the opportunity to make money. When King Solomon was asked what he wanted, he went straight with his request, “Wisdom to govern God’s people”, 1 Kings 3:9. What is your need if i may ask you this morning?
Blind Bartimaeus knew his need wasn’t money, nor someone to take him around or a car. He need was, “Lord, that I might receive my sight”. Very precise and short. Our request from God should be summary of all our problems as a whole. Not lengthy or filled with story but straight and direct. May i charge you this morning to identify the real source of your challenge. Many focus on job, help from someone, business while the issue is foundational, spiritual growth, laziness in prayer and many more. Jesus is asking you this morning, “What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? What will your request be? What’s the main issue behind all those predicament around your life? Can you summarised it to God? “That i may see.” “That i may be free from household powers”. “I need wisdom to fulfil purpose”. I need the bone of my bone”. Be specific with what you want God to do for you, He is not interested in too much talk, hit the nail on the head, That i may see.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: Lessons from The Blind Bartimaeus. Let Go of Hindrances (7)

MEMORY VERSE:
Ephesians 5:16
16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.

BIBLE READING:
Mark 10:50.
“50. And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
Welcome to the weekend edition on our topic, The Blind Bartimaeus. When Jesus sent for him, the scripture said, “And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus” what garment and why casting the garment away? For anyone to walk with Jesus, receive from Him and enjoy him, there are garment meant to be cast away. What are these garment? They are hindrances to reaching God, distractions, things dropped on us by men or by ourselves. The garment of heaviness, Is. 60:3. Garment of down casting, Ps. 42:6. Garment of experience, Luke 5:5. Garment of help of man, Ps. 60:11. Garment of negative imagination, 2 Corinth. 10:4, and many more, these garments need to be do away with.
The blind Bartimaeus identified what needs to be cast away, can you identify that which you need to let go for God to visit you? Jesus is calling many but what we held unto is holding us back from receiving what He has for us. Hebrews 12:1, says,
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” What are those weights to let go?

Friday, 27th October, 2023.

TOPIC: Lessons from The Blind Bartimaeus. Don’t Mind The Noise (6)

MEMORY VERSE:
Ephesians 5:16
16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.

BIBLE READING:
Mark 10:48-49.
“48. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
49. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.”
Welcome to this beautiful day that the Lord has made, may it be filled with testimony in Jesus name, amen.
Today as we move forward, i like to tell you, “Don’t mind the noise” like Blind Bartimaeus did. When he started shouting at the top of his voice, the crowd bid him to be quiet that the Master can’t hear him. Many saw his request as noise and irrelevant cry and hence discouraged him to be silent but the more they stopped him the more his shouted until Jesus sent for him. Do you know you have to keep praying and crying to God regardless of opposition, man’s talk and discouragement? God listens to persistent cry not just a cry. He said to Moses, i have heard the cry of my people, Exodus 3:7. How often do we persist with our request to God? How often are we discouraged when responses are not forth coming? Do you noticed from the verse, the same people silencing him were the same persons who said, “be of good cheer, the saviour is calling you”. Those who try discouraging you will still come to celebrate with you, if you will remain persistent. Keep asking and quit not for God is still busy with other cases until your cry reaches to Him to stand still, then it will be your turn. Don’t give in to the noise of men, keep crying to God.
Good Day and God bless you.
