Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 49, Day 3:
Tuesday, 5th December, 2023.

TOPIC: 1st Samuel 1 Study: Return The Glory Back to God (17)

MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 6:10.
“10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 1:20.
“20. Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.”
This day, evil shall not locate us, whatever is ours today, shall not elude us in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Welcome to today’s message.
When God answers you, who do you direct the glory to, Yourself, your Pastor, your experience or God, the doer of it? That’s when many remembered it was their strength. God said to the children of Israel in Deuteronomy 8:17, saying,
“17. And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.”
That wasn’t the case of Hannah, she gave Samuel a name that will prompt Samuel to ask questions in future, “Why did you called me Samuel? What’s the meaning of my name? This is ascribing the Glory to God. Who earns the glory over what God’s did in your life?
“Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, BECAUSE I HAVE ASKED HIM OF THE LORD.”
Let that gift of God reflects God’s Glory not man’s Glory. Claiming the glory can lead to loosing the gift, return the Glory back to God.
Good Day and God bless you.

Hebrews 6:10.
“10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 1:19.
“19. … and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; AND THE LORD REMEMBERED HER.
Welcome to this new week, it shall attract our expected result in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Today, our focus is set on God remembering Hannah, in order words, God bringing to past what He heard Hannah said in her vow. May I let you know, God is principled, He follows His laid down rules. God won’t be committed to us until we are committed to Him and complete our part of every deal. Many believers has been stranded in prayers, fasting but wasn’t remembered like Hannah was. She’s being going to that Shiloh program yearly but she went in a different way that year and came back more experienced which led to playing her own part of the bargain.
The Lord will remember you before this year runs out, He will answer your prayers, you request will be turned to reality in Jesus Mighty Name, but are you ready to keep your part of the bargain? God will not do all thing for us, we all have our parts to play. Go out today and play your part which will enhance your remembrance and activation of your testimony. We can’t be remembered without playing our part.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 49, Day 1:
Sunday, 3rd December, 2023.

TOPIC: 1st Samuel 1 Study: Every Prayer Goes With Action (15)

MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 6:10.
“10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 1:19.
“19. And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, … and ELKANAH KNEW HANNAH HIS WIFE; AND THE LORD REMEMBERED HER.”
Happy Sunday to you all, May we enjoy the El-Shaddai God in our various worship centers today in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
As believers, many don’t fail with prayer and fasting but failed with action. Some persons walk the path of fasting for months without looking back to act. Almost every healing of Jesus involves actions not just prayer and declaration, action is needed.
When He got to the pool of Bethesda, He spoke to the impotent man in John 5:8,
“8. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.”
For every response to our request, our action is needed not just praying and fasting, we need to act according to our request.
Hannah went home with her family, and the scripture said, “ELKANAH KNEW HANNAH HIS WIFE;” meaning, she allowed her husband to come closer to her without saying, “I have prayed I believed God has heard me, so therefore, i don’t need any help again” No, she did her part for the bargaining to be fulfilled. Many keep trying to get job but still waiting in the place of prayers instead of going after the job. You need a spouse but you keep dressing any how and flock with the wrong caliber of people up and down, you’re not ready. For every prayer point we have an action to take, people to speak to, someone to reach out to and things to do away with. Check your prayer points, what has been the positive action you’ve been making for it to become a reality? Start acting more than praying, God has already done it you may just need to act now.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 48, Day 7:
Saturday, 2nd December, 2023.

TOPIC: 1st Samuel 1 Study: FAITH; Change Of Mood (14)

MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 6:10.
“10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 1:18.
“18. And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.”
A pleasant weekend to everyone, may the strength of God be upon us all in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
When we’ve prayed about a certain request, how do we feel? Do we remain in the same mood or changed our mood? Do we feel relieved or still remain heavy? When you’ve prayed and you still remain heavy, burdened, depressed, it simply means you’re to remain in prayer or check your Faith level. Prayer should bring relieve not more depression. God is not moved by prayers without Faith. Your countenance after prayer exposes your faith in God. It points out where you belong.
James 1:6-8.
“6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
Are you still wavering after your prayers? Do you still doubt the answers from God? Hannah, after a short personal prayers, with discouragement from Eli, still added faith and changed her countenance which means, “God I Believe It’s Done”. Your faith is the motivation for God’s response. Stop being the stumbling stone to your response, it’s time to walk in faith after your prayers.

Hebrews 6:10.
“10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 1:17.
17. Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.
18. And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.
Happy New Month To You All. It shall be the best Month of 2023 for you and your family in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
I’m glad to share today’s message with you. Believe in your prophet no matter their actions, except on Holy Spirit Instructions. Yes, Holy Spirit might instruct you against your prophet when they derailed. No matter their attitude, no matter their action, until the Holy Spirit says otherwise, believe and receive them as God’s Servants. We don’t treat them as their attitude is but believe and receive them . If Hannah had refused Eli because of his initial attitude, she wouldn’t have received the seal on her prayers. Remember, Ministers of God are Human, they walk in the flesh, they can be carried away sometimes but that doesn’t implies we disobeying them.
2 Chronicles 20:20
“20 … Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Believe God’s servant over you, receive them as God’s Prophet then, you will enjoy the benefits of the anointing upon their lives. Don’t be rude to them, don’t disrespect them neither doubt them until the Holy Spirit says otherwise. Believe His prophets so shall you prosper.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 48, Day 5:
Thursday, 30th November, 2023.

TOPIC: 1st Samuel 1 Study: Wise Answer For Wrong Accusations (12)

MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 6:10.
“10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 1:15-16.
“15. And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.
16. Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.”
We bless God today for seeing the end of November, may His name be praise for evermore.
Today, we shall focus on Hannah’s response to Prophet Eli’s wrong accusations. We saw how Eli misinterpreted Hannah’s reaction during prayers and called her names, but hear what Hannah said, she never gave response according to Eli’s conclusion but she enlightened Him of her present challenges. She gave wise response instead of negative response. Like the story in Matthew 15:22-28, of the woman whom Jesus called a Dog. She kept answering Jesus wisely till she received her blessing.
Brethren, most times we don’t need to prove our point when accused wrongly but to give the right answer with wisdom. Hannah’s response to Eli changed the mind of Eli and blessings was released. Not all accusations should be met with negative words or reaction. Always give a right answer according to Proverbs 15:1 which says;
“1. A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.”
Let your answers turn wrath away not ignite wrath the more.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 48, Day 4:
Wednesday, 29th November, 2023.

TOPIC: 1st Samuel 1 Study: Men Of God Aren’t A Spirit (11)

MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 6:10.
“10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 1:13-14.
“13. Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.
14. And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.”
Beloved of God, may the Lord refresh our spirit, soul and body in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
With the situation of things around the world, Men ( servants )of God are not left out from challenges. They aren’t immune to disappointment, depression and negative thought. What we feel as human, Ministers of God also feel the same, they are Men of God not Spirit of God. Blood flows through their veins as human, so they aren’t 24/7 spirit of God. Eli was in that situation during the time of Hannah. He wasn’t conscious of what was happening around Hannah. He insulted and berated her as drunk. Despite being to Shiloh yearly, probably Eli had no idea who Hannah was and what She was going through.
May i say this to someone today, that Minister may hurt you, speak against you or berate you, it’s because they have no idea of your plight not because they hated and want you down. Always know, the devil can use any vessel to stop your miracle, all you need do is to be focus and remain on purpose. Men of God can oppose your progress but with a determine heart, you can reach your goal. Stop seeing them as your enemy, just move on with your request and prayers and they will join you to celebrate.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 48, Day 3:
Tuesday, 28th November, 2023.

TOPIC: 1st Samuel 1 Study: Make Your Prayers Secret (10)

MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 6:10.
“10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 1:12-14.
“12. And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.
13. NOW HANNAH, SHE SPAKE IN HER HEART; ONLY HER LIPS MOVED, BUT HER VOICE WAS NOT HEARD: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.”
Welcome to another wonderful day filled with God’s good thought towards us, His presence will not elude us in Jesus name, Amen.
Today, we are discussing “PRAYING IN SECRET”. Our God is not deaf to hear our secret prayers neither does our shout hasten up our response from God. Jesus laid emphasis on secret prayers, when He said,
“6. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:6.
This was the principle Hannah applied, she made her prayers secretly without letting anyone know her request to God. We don’t need to disturb others when praying, nobody is permitted to know your request to God. When your strategy is known then it can be attacked but when your movement or request is unknown to your enemy, your testimony will be sweeter like that of Hannah. Learn to present your request to God in secret and in details and the God who hears in secret will grant your request publicly. Praying silently or secretly isn’t the lack of spirituality but a way to get the mind of God directly and faster. Praying secretly and quietly is lovely.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 48, Day 2:
Monday, 27th November, 2023.

TOPIC: 1st Samuel 1 Study: Mistakes In Vow (9)

MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 6:10.
“10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

BIBLE READING:
Ecclesiastes 5:4-5.
“4. When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
5. Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.”
Welcome to the first working day of the week. Our work this week, shall bring in the required profit in Jesus name, Amen.
The second point to know about “Vow” is this, make a vow you will pay not someone else to pay. Let your vows be what you can afford without involving someone else’s life. We bless God for Hannah’s life and her Vow, she made a vow and the payment of the vow was her first son, “Samuel”. Come to think of it, if Samuel grew up and said, “Mummy, that’s your vow not mine, am not ready to go back to God”, what will the situation be? Jephthah also made a vow to give God whatever comes out of his house after returning from battle and her only daughter was what came out when he was returning home with jubilation ,Judges 11: 30 – 35, what if her daughter had said, “I’m not a sacrificial lamb, go seek for someone else” how will the vow be paid?
Vow should be what you pay not someone else’s risk. It shouldn’t involve someone else or depend on someone life. When you make your vow never be too anxious of what to say. Vow is not dependent on the size but in the faithful remittance. You don’t need to move God with big vow rather achievable vow without someone’s consent. Our Bible reading said, “… pay that which thou hast vowed.” You are to pay your vow not someone else paying for you. Be conscious when making your vow, for God won’t welcome reasons for not remitting them. Be wise and reasonable when making your vows.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 48, Day 1:
Sunday, 26th November, 2023.

TOPIC: 1st Samuel 1 Study: Mistakes In Vow (8)

MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 6:10.
“10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

BIBLE READING:
Numbers 30:2.
“2. If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.”
Happy New week to everyone. May the peace of God that surpass all understanding guide our path and heart in Jesus name, Amen.
As we continue on the topic “Vow”, I”ll like to point out some common mistakes made about vows. The first is, Lack of “Documenting Your Vow”. This is common to most believers who indulge in vow. When vows are made but not documented, it’s easy to forget and not fulfil it. When the vow takes longer than we expected, we tend to forget our commitment. To perform better in your exams all you need do is to read your lecture notes, likewise, to fulfil your side of the Vow you need to write down what the vow is all about and your commitment. If the scripture encourages us to document our vision why can’t we document our Vows with God? I like you to sit down and have a rethink on those vows you made but are yet to be fulfil because you couldn’t remember them. Document and fulfil them so God wont be angry at you. King Solomon said in, Ecclesiastes 5:5.
“5. Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.”
Pay your vows.
