Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 52, Day 1:
Sunday, 24th December, 2023.

TOPIC: Preparing For Year 2024: Appreciate God For 2023 (1)

MEMORY VERSE:
Deuteronomy 11:11-12.
“11. But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven:
12. A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.”

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 124:1-4.
“1. If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;
2. If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
3. Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
4. Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
Happy Last week of the year to everyone wherever you are. God has done marvelous thing for us by watching over us till date, We return all Glory, Praise and Worship to Him alone in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
This week, we shall be discussing on how to prepare for the year, 2024. In a week time, 2023 will be gone and 2024 will begin by the grace of God. But what are the steps for a greater result in Year 2024? What do we need to put in place to have a better year than 2023? First of all, is to start by appreciating God for year 2023. Show God gratitude for being alive to witness the end of the year. The year has been tough and rough but here you are by the Grace of God. We always think many needs weren’t met but what about needs you never ask Him for that were meet? What about the life of God in you? Your household family, work, properties? Bishop Oyedepo once said, “If you have lost anything, God is the reason why you don’t lost everything”. There’s reasons to appreciate God for. To begin year 2024, you need to finish the year 2023 with gratitude to God, to return the glory to Him. I always said this, “Is not that you don’t have at all, it’s just that it’s not enough”. Thank God for what is sustaining you and stop complaining about what has not been useful to you that you don’t have. What you need is what you have for sustenance now. When you thank God He does more, don’t be an ingrate, be grateful for the year 2023 no matter the condition. Join me tomorrow to see the next step after appreciating God.
Good Day and God bless you.

Week 51, Day 7:
Saturday, 23rd December, 2023.

TOPIC: Learning From Moses: Hastening Your Helper (7)

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 29:11.
“11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 3:7, 9-10.
“7. And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
9. Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
10. Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.”
A beautiful weekend for everyone today, may the face of the Lord shine upon us in Jesus name, Amen.
Moses, was a man of purpose, who wanted his people saved from their captors. He was determined to go the extra mile to rescue the israelite but a time came, that purpose became outdated for him, and the Israelites wallowed in their sufferings for another forty (40) years. Until the Israelites cried to God to raise a helper, Moses never saw reasons to stand for them anymore.
Most times our deliverer lost focus, forgot their purpose and face their life squarely making us helpless, until we cry to God to reach out to them we may be miserable in life, i pray this shall not be our portion in life in Jesus Name, Amen. Enough of complaining, murmuring, it’s time to cry to God to search out our helpers and direct them to deliver us. May we be able to take responsibility concerning our helpers in Jesus Mighty Name. Cry to God to remind your helpers about you, it’s not too late when God is involved.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: Learning From Moses: Consequences Of Our Action (6)

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 29:11.
“11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 2:15.
“15. Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.
It’s the second to the last Friday for the year, where we thought we’ve been forgotten God will cause us to be remember in Jesus wonderful name, Amen.
Every action has consequence. Every word attract an act or reaction. I encourage us to always think deep and farther before acting and saying any word in every situation. Moses, once treated as a Prince became a fugitive, wanted by the King of Egypt. He expose his cover as a Hebrew which led to leaving his family and brethren for forty (40) years. May i let you know, that wasn’t the plan of God for Moses nor the Israelite. The Israelites were suppose to stay in Egypt for Four Hundred (400) years according to Genesis 15:13, when God spoke to Abraham,
“13. And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
When Moses left Egypt, the Israelite had spent Three Hundred and ninety (390) years already in Egypt, waiting for ten(10) more years, but Moses’ journey took him another Forty (40) years in the wilderness before he returned, making Four Hundred and thirty (430) years of slavery in Egypt.
Can you imagine the consequences of that action of yours to the coming generation and unborn children? Think of what will happen after You’ve left that company, are you not taking the company aback? Your action can take you out of God plans totally. It’s time to reason well before acting. Consider those children before divorce or separation, consider the outcome of that steps you’re dabbling into. Your past decisions brought you to where you are presently, it’s time to determine the consequences that awaits you.
Good Day and God bless you.

Thursday, 21st December, 2023.

TOPIC: Learning From Moses: Over Ambition, Antagonist to Purpose (5)

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 29:11.
“11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 2:13-14.
“13. And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow?
14. And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.”
Beloved of God, The God that meet the needs of the sparrows in the sky will meet all our needs today In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Being over ambitious is one antagonist to fulfiling purpose. This can create many negative effects for someone. When you over act, your action becomes questionable and can create enmity for you. Moses was over ambitious, he wasn’t happy the way the Hebrews were being treated and being used. He desires that someone can stop that slavery and he was too eager for the change. Some may see your help as eye service, men pleaser even when you mean well for them. In the case of the Hebrew boys, he asked, “Who made him a judge over them and if he would kill him as he killed the Egyptian the other day. Those who are difficult to help are those going through serious situations. Be warned.
Many of us desire for a change in one area or the other of our lives but we need to hear from God on how to go about it. Those you are trying to help may still be the ones to question your help. Don’t be too ambitious in your place of work, worship center even to your spouse before it start looking suspicious. Nehemiah took his time to study the broken wall before letting everyone know the purpose of His coming, Nehemiah 2:11-12. Don’t be too forward even when God gives you the detail of your purpose in life.
Good Day and God bless you.

Week 51, Day 4:
Wednesday, 20th December, 2023.

TOPIC: Learning From Moses: Clarity Of God’s Vision (4)

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 29:11.
“11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 2:11-12.
“11. … and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren.
12. And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.”
Welcome to another wonderful day, no matter the evil of the day, small or big, we will be eluded from it In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
As we continue with lessons inferred from Moses’ life, we shall be considering getting “Clarity Of God’s Vision”. Our passion is always a pointer to God’s purpose for our lives. That passion of yours is a clarity of what God has created and called you to be. That zeal, that concern for people’s freedom, to stand for others, is a link to your God given purpose in life. Moses had this feeling but never understood how it should or will be implemented. He was a deliverer but didn’t know how to go about it.
Many of us acts before seeking God’s directives. We jump into conclusion like Moses did and take drastic actions which later back fire in our life’s journey. Tomorrow, we shall be studying the consequences of Moses drastic decision on Israel. When you have a passion for a purpose, before acting, seek for God’s counsel, ask Him for the path to follow to achieve His purpose for your life. You don’t need to kill, cheat, destroy or blackmail others to fulfil God’s purpose for your life. That passion should be diligently directed to God’s Will not hurting people. Get clarity of your purpose before taking steps.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 51, Day 3: Tuesday, 19th December, 2023. TOPIC: Learning From Moses: Lack Of God’s Consciousness (3)

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 51, Day 3:
Tuesday, 19th December, 2023.

TOPIC: Learning From Moses: Lack Of God’s Consciousness (3)

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 29:11.
“11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 2:11-12.
“11. …. and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren.
12. And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.”
May the Powerful hand of the Lord lift us out of those obstructions around our lives In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
The Lack of God’s consciousness was a display in the life of Moses the first day he went out to unite with his source. This is one attribute that he incubated from the Egyptian, lack of the fear of God, which he exhibited before the Israelites. The lack of fear of God has it’s influence as inherited from how or where we are raised. It’s an influence which need to be dealt with before it destroys us. Moses saw an Egyptian maltreating an Israelite, He strikes the Egyptian dead, buried him and walked away for the day, thinking he was defending his people.
Many atimes we act under the influence of lack of self control thinking we are doing right, God isn’t seeing it that way. Our call to God is not a call to avenge ourselves most times, it’s a call to restore what’s ours under the influence of God. Standing for your source shouldn’t sadden the heart of God and even your source. Put your actions under control so you won’t be offending God while standing for your source, May God help us all in Jesus Name, Amen.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 51, Day 2: Monday, 18th December, 2023. TOPIC: Learning From Moses: Be Compassionate with Your Source (2)

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 51, Day 2:
Monday, 18th December, 2023.

TOPIC: Learning From Moses: Be Compassionate with Your Source (2)

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 29:11.
“11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 2:11
“11. … that he went out unto his brethren, AND LOOKED ON THEIR BURDENS: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren.
Welcome to another Glorious week, may the presence of the Lord lead us through the huddles and make us victorious in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
The second lesson to infer from Moses’ life is “His Compassion For His Source” – the Hebrew. Moses went out of the palace to check on His people for the first time, and while doing this, he saw their distress, hardship, burden and slavery and He had compassion on them. Mind you, He was forty years of age at this time with the mentality and training of Egyptian, Act 7:22-23, but he never looked away from His source because of the enjoyment in Pharaoh’s palace, but had compassion on their misery.
How do you feel when your people are oppressed? What goes through your mind? Do you join in oppressing them for fear of loosing your position or the authority above you? Do you dare to take risk on behalf of your people? Yes, you are okay and satisfied but you still belong to your source. Mordecai said to Esther in, Esther 4:13-14
“13. Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews.
14. For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
If you refuse to have compassion for your people God will raise someone else who will do but you will be forgotten. It’s time to be compassionate with your lineage and stand for them.

Week 51, Day 1:
Sunday, 17th December, 2023.

TOPIC: Learning From Moses: Know Your Source (1)

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 29:11.
“11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 2:11.
“11. And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens:…”
Welcome to another wonderful week, where the Lord will be gracing us with wisdom to succeed in life.
Today, our new series will be lessons to inferred from the life of Moses. For every man to be fulfilled in life, we have what will attract God to us and until we put those things to action we may miss our godly purpose, i pray for someone today, within the remaining days of the year, we will get it right in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Our first lesson today is Knowing Your Source, knowing where you belong no matter How you are. Moses was living in the palace of pharaoh, eating and been cared for with the king’s resources. He has everything at His disposal, he wasn’t under any bondage like his people were but He Knew His source as an Hebrew boy. How did this happened? He must have been informed by His parent, “You’re Not an Egyptian but a Hebrew”. A day came and the scriptures said, “He went to his brethren”. May i ask someone reading this today, do you know your source? Are you not ashamed of your source? Hope you aren’t covered by position and title that still makes you fight with your brethren? As a believer, do you still recognise and associate with other believers or disregard them because you were raised by unbelievers? Recognizing your source and mingling with them attract you to your purpose in life.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 50, Day 7: Saturday, 16th December, 2023. TOPIC: God’s Admonition: Are You Hot And Cold? (7)

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 50, Day 7:
Saturday, 16th December, 2023.

TOPIC: God’s Admonition: Are You Hot And Cold? (7)

MEMORY VERSE:
Revelation 3:19
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

BIBLE READING:
Revelation 3:15-17.
“15. I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:”
It is a good thing to worship and praise God’s name for another day such as this, to Him be the Glory for evermore.
Today, being the last message of God to all believers during John’s Vision, Jesus is saying we can’t act Hot and Cold at the same time, we need to be Hot, we need to be Spiritually up and not down. We need to desist from seeing material things as our stand in God. Being lukewarm isn’t God’s desires for you and I, we need to be on fire God, enough of Hot and cold, spiritually up today and down tomorrow. Jesus said He will spue out every lukewarm believers, I pray we will not be thrown out of Jesus’ protection in Jesus name. Those wealth isn’t a prove of our spirituality and they are less compare to what God have in stock for us, it’s time to surrender to God and be on flame for Him daily, i pray with you this morning, every reason for falling and rising comes to an end today in Jesus name, amen.
