TOPIC: GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU

Memory Verse: John 5:17:
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”
Bible Reading: Is. 38:15-19.
15 “What shall I say?  He has both spoken to me, And He Himself has done it. I shall walk carefully all my years In the bitterness of my soul. 16 O Lord, by these  things men live; And in all these things is the life of my spirit; So You will restore me and make me live. 17 Indeed it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly  delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back. 18 For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You;  Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth. 19 The living, the living man, he shall praise You,  As I do this day; The father shall make known Your truth to the children.”

IN ALL, BE GRATEFUL
Complain, grumbling and crying has been the order of the day for 85% of believers waiting on God. Many keep evaluating their lives with others. Some believed, God has forgotten them, so they’ve found no reason to appreciate being alive and healthy. Having children, getting a good job, finding the right man or woman, has made many see less of other things God is doing in them. May I tell you once again, God is handling your case presently.
The dead can’t have a dream anymore, no competition for them. Those that are dead have no idea of what they own when they were alive, they are gone. Why not learn to thank God for what you are enjoying for free? The breath in you, the perfect sight, the functioning body system, the will to be in a place and ability to eat what you want or see without any repercussion on your system? These are proves of, God working in you.
King Hezekiah said, “The living, the living man, he shall praise You, As I do this day;”
If you won’t praise God before your manifestation, you won’t appreciate the manifestation when it come. That you are reading these, this morning, is a sign that God is working in you. Why not celebrate Him this morning?
“Father, thank you for working in me till date. Though I might not be where I want to be, I know I am not where I use to be. Though I might not have what I desire but I have never lacked all I need to live. Thank you for this works in me. As a living soul, am here to say Thank you.”
Have a Great Day.

TOPIC: GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU
Memory Verse: John 5:17:
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”
Bible Reading: Gen. 18:1-5
“1 Then the LORD appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day. 2 So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed  himself to the ground, 3 and said, “My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant. 4 Please let a little water be  brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree. 5 And I will bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh your hearts. After that you may pass by, inasmuch as you have  come to your servant.”  They said, “Do as you have said.”
BE SENSITIVE TO GOD’S MOVES
Our God is not a God of delay, He is timely. Just that, our time differs. He knows what He is doing. He know when to grant our desires, He is not a wicked God. The challenge is that, many whom God is working for are not sensitive to God’s moves. Some are carried away when God is ready for them. Some couldn’t identify God’s voice, His Instructions and His leading, and they’ve miss their timing.
Abraham, the father of faith, was spiritually sensitive to identify the presence of God. He rushed to meet the three visitors and welcome them in. He prepare meal for them and still stood by them while eating. He knew something special was about to happen.
Many Christians today lack this sensitivity. They are not prepared for opportunities. They see all things normal. They don’t recognise when opportunities come knocking. I pray for you today, you will not miss your God timing in Jesus Mighty Name.
How sensitive are you?
Have a Great Day.

TOPIC: GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU
Memory Verse: John 5:17
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

Bible Reading: Romans 8:28
“28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
APPRENTICESHIP OF GOD
Learning a trade as an apprentice isn’t an easy task. It takes determination, sacrifice and self-control. An apprentice can be older in age than his/her master, can be a graduate, master holder or even married person while the master is still single. Whatever your qualification or status, you have to obey your master. He can send you on errand while he continues with work. He can shout at you, insult you and ridicule you as your boss. The only reason for accepting all these is to learn the skill in the trade.
This is how it is with our God, although, He is God over all and above all but He sometimes allows us to experience shame, reproach, rejection and mockery before we acquire the needed skills to brings out His purpose for our lives. During those period, God is bringing out the best in us in order to be a master tomorrow.
In the days of King David as a boy, He acquired the needed skills; he was trained in the bush, He was built on how to war and defeat with the sling. He was trained on how to cast out evil spirit with His instrument and the Praise of God. He was already a leader of mighty men while King Saul was after him. God is impacting skills into us with what we are going through. He is working all things for our good. As long as we love God, He is giving us the needed skills for the mission ahead of us. He is building in us the ruggedness we will need ahead. He is working for our good. Be a faithful Apprentice, you will soon be freed.
Have a Great Day.

TOPIC: GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU

Memory Verse: John 5:17:
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

Bible Reading: Gen. 42:22-24.
“22 And Reuben answered them, saying, “Did I  not speak to you, saying, ‘Do not sin against the boy’; and you would not listen? Therefore behold, his blood is now required of us.” 23 But they did  not know that Joseph understood them, for he spoke to them through an interpreter. 24 And he turned himself away from them and wept. Then  he returned to them again, and talked with them. And he took Simeon from them and bound him  before their eyes.
LEARN NEW THINGS
A lot of Christians today has a familiar story with Joseph, the son of Jacob. We are familiar with his story. He was sold out by his blood brothers, bought by a slave master, went into slavery, was lied against and was finally imprisoned. Many thought that was his end. No one could have looked for him. Nobody would have remembered him. But God was working in him through out those period.
During those challenging time, Joseph was able to learn the language of the Egyptians fluently. He was conversant with it. Even in the prison, he interpreted the dream with the language. When he met the king, we weren’t told he was using an interpreter, meaning, he spoke to the king as an Egyptian. He was able to hear and speak the language that his brothers never realize he was the same Joseph they sold out.
What are you learning in that challenge? God brought you through those challenges to teach you some lesson. He want to show you new things you know not. Are you just seeing the challenges or utilizing it to get knowledge? That’s why many will go through hardship, made it, but couldn’t sustain it because, they’ve refuse to learn during the challenging time. There is something God want you to gain from that situation. Stop focusing on the negative, try and see the positive side. Gain new experience. The examination time is coming when your experience will be tested.
Open your understanding to learn new things in that situation of yours.
Have a Great Day.

TOPIC: GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU
Memory Verse: John 5:17
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”
Bible Reading: Jere. 29:10-12
“10 For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place. 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then  you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.”
WAIT FOR THE SET TIME
God hasn’t forgotten neither has he abandon you. He is working on you and for you. It doesn’t matter what you are going through, God is still on your matter. Listen to this,
“11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
This is the promise of God to us all, but before this, there is a specific year assigned to you before He perfect His plans for you life.
Let me paraphrase it this way,
“10 For thus says the LORD: After seventy (some) years are completed at Babylon (in that challenge of yours), I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place, (your rightful place).”
What he says He will do, He will do. You don’t have to run to men but wait on God. Man only promise without fulfilling it, but God has the ability and the power to speak and achieve what He says.
As my Father in the Lord, Rev. Steve Ayegunle, will always say, “God can never be late, He can only come later.” That later is when you need him. That is the set time He has predestined for your glorification. Stop comparing your case with someone else, you have different assignment and different timing. Wait for your set time.
Have a Great Day.

TOPIC: GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU
Memory Verse: John 5:17
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

Bible Reading: Philippians 1:6
“6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;”
BE CONFIDENT OF THIS
This week, we will be speaking on “GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU.” I will like you to know that, you are “God’s project in progress.” You are not abandoned by God. God is not a man that start and stop a project because of finances or external problem, No. He is the beginning and the end of all things. The first and last of everything. He has the end of everything before the beginning began. He doesn’t specializes in  uncompleted job, No, He perfect whatsoever He started. God is at work in you, Halleluyah.
Jesus assured us, that, God is at work and He also is at work. May I ask you this morning, whose work are they both doing? Who are they working for? You and I of course. God did not retire after the creation of  Heaven and Earth. He is working on your behalf. He’s working on my behalf. Be rest assured that, He will perfect that which He has started in your life. You are God’s project in progress. Relax, you are not forgotten.
See you tomorrow.
Have a Great Day.

TOPIC: KILLERS OF FAITH
Memory Verse: Amos 3:3:
“3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”
Bible Reading: 1 Corinth. 15:33.
“33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts  good habits.”
Wrong Company Kills Faith
Who are the members of your company? Who do you flock with? What tops your discussion when you are with your company? Does it strengthens and increases your faith or decreases and kill your faith? Who you walk with will have a direct influence on your faith. Who do you share your ideas, revelation, inspiration and your faith with? These people can build or kill your faith with ease. Your daily communication have a way of lifting or killing your faith.
Prov. 27:17, says,
“17 As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his  friend.”
Is your company sharpening or dulling your faith? Stop killing your faith, remember, Faith is personal. Don’t allow others to kill yours. Separate from every thing that is killing your faith. Grow in Faith towards God. With your faith intact, nothing can be impossible.
Have a Great Day.

TOPIC: KILLERS OF FAITH
Memory Verse: 2 Kings 7:3-4
“3 Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate; and they said to one another, “Why are we sitting here until we die? 4 If we say, ‘We will enter the city,’ the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. And if we sit here, we die also. Now therefore, come, let  us surrender to the army of the Syrians. If they keep us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall only die.”
Bible Reading: 1 Kings 19:1-4
1. And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword. 2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this  time.” 3 And when he saw that, he arose and ran for his life, and went to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there. 4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the  wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I am no better than my  fathers!”
5. FEAR KILLS FAITH
What is fear? “False Evidence Appearing Real.” Fear is seeing the impossibility of your faith. It’s seeing things beyond God Almighty. When your fear subdue your faith, your expectation is defeated. I pray with you this morning, every forces of fear showing itself to be real than your faith, they are subdued in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Many Christian’s faith has been watered by the power of fear. Their great faith has been over powered by fear. Have you ever noticed, what you fear most never come to reality? They are all trick of the devil to shift your foot from the solid ground of faith.
Prophet Elijah just finish dealing with Eight Hundred and Fifty prophet of Baal and Asherah, 1 kings 18:19, and Jezebel, a woman, sent message to him, that, she will take Elijah’s life as he took the life of her prophet. Because fear has taking over His faith in God, he ran away from the city and ask for death, why? His faith was defeated by the fear of a woman.
Stop nursing that fear. Kill it before it kills your faith. Some defines it has “Forget Everything And Run”, or “Face Everything And Raise.” Why bother yourself with the unknown and loose focus of the known, which is your faith?
The four leper would have been dead and truncated the plan of God if they allow their fear to dictate their decisions, 2 Kings 7:3-8. Their faith for surviver gave the city the unexpected miracle. Take the needed step of faith. Stop listening to the fear speaking within. Your faith will make you whole, stop giving room to fear. Take the step of faith against that fear and you will be glad you did.
Have a Great Day.

TOPIC: KILLERS OF FAITH

Memory Verse: Math. 6:14-15.
14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father  forgive your trespasses.
Bible Reading: Gen. 59:15-21.
15 When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “Perhaps Joseph will hate us, and may actually repay us for all the evil which we did to him.” 16  So they sent messengers to Joseph, saying, “Before your father died he commanded, saying, 17 ‘Thus you  shall say to Joseph: “I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you.” ’ Now, please, forgive the trespass of the  servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him. 18 Then his brothers also went and fell down before his face, and they said, “Behold, we are your servants.” 19 Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for  am I in the place of God? 20 But as for you, you meant evil  against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. 21 Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.
4. UNFORGIVENESS.
Faith can’t be productive with Unforgiveness in place. Unforgiveness is like carrying a load belonging to others while dragging yours along. When you have refuse to forgive Ten (10) people, you are carrying extra ten burdens on yourself, how can you move with faith? Hear this, Faith needs full concentration on God. Distraction is not a virtue of faith. When you refuse to forgive others of their sins, your sins keep piling up also.
Joseph was able to become whom he became because he let go of Unforgiveness. He forgave before request was even made. He was free to move and run the race ahead of him without the loads of unforgiveness. When his brothers came asking for forgiveness, he simply told them, ” i have forgiven you for a long time.”
Free yourself from the cage of unforgiveness, is it your spouse, that rapist, your parent, relatives who rejected you in time of challenging? Your colleagues, is it about heart broken? You need to forgive in order to move faster in the race of faith. You can’t come this far in the journey of faith and still miss out on the reality of it. Let go and let God. Defeat the spirit of unforgiveness. Make the call and forgive. Release yourself from self inflicted cage of unforgiveness, that may be what’s killing your faith. Take a bold step and forgive. It doesn’t matter the prove of the offence, the damage it cause or the losses of life it involves, please, forgive and let go for you to move on in life.
I pray with you today, may the power of unforgiveness loose from your life in Jesus Mighty Name. Receive the grace to let go of all the hurt in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Have a Great Day.

*TOPIC: KILLERS OF FAITH*
*Memory Verse: Heb. 11:1-2*
*1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the  elders obtained a good testimony.*
*Bible Reading: Math. 9:1-7*
*1 So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own city. 2 Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to  the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” 3 And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!” 4 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’?   6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 7 And he arose and departed to his house.*
*3. SIN KILLS FAITH*
Christians has been walking in faith with God but never try to walk away from sin. With Faith in their heart they keep carrying the loads of sin along and the scripture says, God can not behold sin, Hab. 1:13. Sin is a slow poison to faith no matter how Full, Great or Little your faith may be.
Living an unrighteous life will kill your faith. *_17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death. 1 John 5:17_*
Fighting and keeping malice with your neighbour is unrighteous. Selecting people you relate with and backbiting in the church is a sin. Not been faithful to your spouse when it comes to money or your personal belongs is a sin. Disobedience is a sin.
I will like you to check through yourself, what is the sin killing my faith? Choking my faith from reality?
Before Jesus could attend to the healing of the paralytic man, he needed to separate him from his sins despite the faith of those who brought him to Jesus. To God, sin is louder than faith, remember, no small sin, sin is sin.
Fetch that sin out before it finally kills your faith. The grace to faithfully locate our sins and renounce it, may it fall on us all in Jesus Mighty Name.
Have a Great Day.
