TOPIC: LESSON FROM NAOMI AND RUTH. Recognizing Your Ruth (5)

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 32:8.
“8. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

BIBLE READING:
Ruth 1:22.
“22. So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.
Today, every destiny helpers waiting for our recognition shall be identify in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Naomi lost all she had in the country of Moab. She left Moab with nothing except an unrecognized helper destined to restore her fortune. In her mind all that occupied was, “How will I care for this lady when I have nothing else in Bethlehem?”, “Who will marry her or won’t she be a burden to me?” But God already planned it that Ruth will be the lifter and a restorer of her joy. Ruth, on the other hand, had it in mind to make life comfortable for her mother-in-law any how in Bethlehem. Most times we look down on our helpers not knowing they are our destined helpers. Naomi never knew it was God in charge when Ruth rejected her offer of going back to her people. How often do we reject offers from others not knowing they are ordained for our establishment?
Remember Job, when all he had was destroyed and consumed by fire he still had four servants left who surrounded him, Job 1:15,16,17 and 19 “And I Only Am Escaped Alone To Tell Thee.” Recognize those people left around to be of help to you. No matter the situation, God will never leave us without a sustainer when we are going through hard times. Stop seeing them as outsiders, different clan or a burden, they are your destiny helpers, may we not be blindfolded by our situations to reject our present help in times of need in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
There is a Ruth around you, she’s not just an inlaw or friend, they are the helper assigned for your restoration. Open-up and allow them carry out their duties in your life.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: LESSON FROM NAOMI AND RUTH. Don’t Tag Naming Yourself (4)

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 32:8.
“8. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

BIBLE READING:
Ruth 1:19-21.
“19. So they two went until they came to Bethlehem. And it came to pass, when they were come to Bethlehem, that all the city was moved about them, and they said, Is this Naomi?”
“20. And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.”
“21. I went out full, and the LORD hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the LORD hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?”
May we not introduced ourselves wrongly below God’s purpose for our lives in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Naomi and Ruth started the long journey back to Bethlehem, after many days they arrived. The scripture said, “the city was moved when Naomi arrived”. Her absence all along was felt, now, seeing her, regardless of the losses, her presence moved the whole city. That you look like nobody today doesn’t mean you should give others room to call you names. I don’t know who I’m speaking to this moment, you’re still on a journey, yet to arrive where God is taking you to, so don’t conclude that it is finished, God is still working on you for a better place in Jesus name, Amen. Jesus was beaten, tortured, reproached and humiliated, but that wasn’t His place or the end of Him, His end was at the right hand of God, beloved, don’t call this your end.
Naomi concluded by telling her friends and relatives to call her Mara, meaning bitterness, because she lost her husband and two sons. But look at who she became at the end of the day. Stop tagging/ naming yourself because of your present situation, it’s a journey not a destination. Listen, you don’t have it or you’ve not made it doesn’t mean you can’t have it or make it. It simply means you haven’t had it yet or made it yet. Listen to those who made it, there was one time in their life when they never had it. Stop naming yourself according to your circumstances. Naomi is still Naomi not Mara. Yoruba adage said, “We don’t get taller the same day we begin to grow” we grow gradually, so while growing don’t conclude you can’t grow more than a particular height. Yes, God might be angry and disciplining you but my scripture tells me that, “FOR HIS ANGER ENDURETH BUT A MOMENT; IN HIS FAVOUR IS LIFE: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.- Psalms 30:5.
God has forgiven you along time ago according to His words in Psalms 103:10,
“10. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.”
Stop reminding God you sinned against Him. Call yourself whom God called you, “A Royal priesthood”, “A Holy name”, “The apple of God’s eye”, not names that attract negativity. Start calling yourself the right name according to where you are going not where you are.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 17, Day (3) Tuesday, 23rd April, 2024 TOPIC: LESSON FROM NAOMI AND RUTH. Ruth’s Determination (3)

TOPIC: LESSON FROM NAOMI AND RUTH. Ruth’s Determination (3)

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 32:8.
“8. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

BIBLE READING:
Ruth 1:14-18.
“14. And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.”
“15. And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.”
“16. And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:”
“17. Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.”
“18. When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.”
My prayer this Morning is that, may we all recognize what and who God has assigned for the manifestation of our destiny in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
What price can you pay for what you value? How far can you go to keep and protect what and whom God has used in blessing and lifting you? How do you value the source of God’s grace over your life? It’s a pity that many Christians don’t even identify the vessels God uses for their breakthroughs. If you identify them, do you reward them? How do you pay them back? Ruth recognized the source of God in her life and was ready to go the extra mile to keep her.
Three reasons for Ruth’s determination:
– Ruth, a determined woman, knew the changes she experienced while living with Naomi and she’s not ready to loose it at all.
– Secondly, she knew Naomi has no more hope and needed someone to encouraged her in life. She needed a shoulder to lean on as an old woman without a husband and children, so she determined to make herself the only shoulder left.
– Thirdly, she has tested Naomi’s God, knows the God and she’s not ready to go back to the god of moabites, and the only means of escape from that god was to go with Naomi.
How far do you go to keep those things that changes the stories of your life? Are you not a “Use And Dump” person? When you enjoyed other’s blessings and grace then you jumped to someone’s else. That’s not who Ruth was, she was ready to contribute her quota to the life of Naomi and she said,
“16. And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:”
Be determined to reward others for their kindness, influence and help in your life and their God will have a record about you.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 17, Day (2) Monday, 22nd April, 2024 TOPIC: LESSON FROM NAOMI AND RUTH. Naomi’s Life Style (2)

TOPIC: LESSON FROM NAOMI AND RUTH. Naomi’s Life Style (2)

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 32:8.
“8. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

BIBLE READING:
Ruth 1:8-9, 14.
“8. And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law, Go, return each to her mother’s house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.”
“9. The LORD grant you that ye may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband. Then she kissed them; and they lifted up their voice, and wept.”
“14. And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.”
By the power In the name of Jesus, may you never experience an untimely death of your loved ones in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Naomi lost all she came with in the land of Moab. Her two sons were also objects of causality after marrying for ten years without children, leaving her with their wives. Then she heard that, the Lord had visited the land she left back at home. So, she told her daughter in-laws, Go back home and start a new life, you’ve been a good daughter to me but they protested to go with her, why? Because of her attitude, behaviour, motherly role which is enviable. Naomi was a mother-in-law with a kind heart, her walk with God was glaring to these daughter in-laws, they’ve learn and become a better person with her, so they thought who can be of that worth to them again? They made up their mind to go with her until Orpah accepted to return home.
As a mother-in-law, father-in-law, Boss, Master, church founder, leader and husband, wife, mother and father, do you make people comfortable around you or frustrate their lives? Do you treat people as slaves or servants? Can people go the extra mile for you or are they willing to end their contract with you before the agreed date? How do you treat the less privilege around you? As God’s Ministers, do you give your proteges room to grow or disarm their spirit with your attitude? Naomi wasn’t paying these ladies but they chose to go the extra mile with her, to serve her God and remain with her till the end. How accommodating are you to your in-laws and relatives? Are they comfortable around you? When you need people may you not lack them because of bad attitude in Jesus name. Be more accommodating to those you lead and those that come your way. Naomi’s daughter in-laws preferred to stay with her rather than going elsewhere because of her life style.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 17, Day (1) Sunday, 21st April, 2024 TOPIC: LESSON FROM NAOMI AND RUTH. INTRODUCTION (1)

TOPIC: LESSON FROM NAOMI AND RUTH. INTRODUCTION (1)

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 32:8.
“8. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

BIBLE READING:
Ruth 1:1 – 5
1 In the days when the judges ruled in Israel, a severe famine came upon the land. So a man from Bethlehem in Judah left his home and went to live in the country of Moab, taking his wife and two sons with him. 2. The man’s name was Elimelech, and his wife was Naomi. Their two sons were Mahlon and Kilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem in the land of Judah. And when they reached Moab, they settled there. 3. Then Elimelech died, and Naomi was left with her two sons. 4. The two sons married Moabite women. One married a woman named Orpah, and the other a woman named Ruth. But about ten years later, 5. both Mahlon and Kilion died. This left Naomi alone, without her two sons or her husband.”
I welcome you all to this new series of Lesson from Naomi and Ruth. Today, we shall be doing a study on this family and what went wrong in the cause of their migration. Elimelech was a Bethlehemite with his wife Naomi, there was famine in Bethlehem so he relocated to Moab, why? Was the instruction from God? No. There was famine, and many relocated and he did too with his family. Jumping to decision without God’s involvement has a lot of consequences. Yes, many did it and it worked for them “Now” (we don’t know what will happen later) doesn’t mean you should also go into it. He did and this brought destruction on his family. Going to Moab wasn’t the plan of God for him but he ventured in to it. How often do we seek God’s counsel before making decision?
Proverbs 14:12.
“12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
We need to involve God in our decisions no matter what the case may be. Jumping into decision without God’s leading have a lot of consequences. I pray today, that we won’t miss God’s leading in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Knowing Christ Through You 7. (27)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 8:17.
“17. And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king’s commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. AND MANY OF THE PEOPLE OF THE LAND BECAME JEWS; FOR THE FEAR OF THE JEWS FELL UPON THEM.”
May our lives win souls for Christ in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Happy weekend to all our readers, and thanks for your encouragement. As we round up our Lesson on Mordecai and Esther, we do love to have your testimony and experiences on Our Daily Devotional if really, God has been ministering to you. Part of our mission is to increase the kingdom of God and depopulate the kingdom of devil through our messages, and also to strengthen believers in their walk with Christ through the teachings of God’s word
Mordecai and Esther was able to establish this through their faith and prayer life. The scriptures said, “AND MANY OF THE PEOPLE OF THE LAND BECAME JEWS; FOR THE FEAR OF THE JEWS FELL UPON THEM.”
They surrendered their lives to the God of the Jews, this is like winning souls for Christ. Has or can your character win souls for Christ? Are your decisions and principles working against God? The way you behave with position, money, fame including age, can souls follow you to Christ? Esther and Mordecai needed not to preach much to win souls, what they’ve done speaks louder than preaching, likewise, your attitude speaks louder than your words. Whatever stops men from following you to God’s presence need to be do away with, it’s time to be a soul winner with your words, thought and actions.

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Joy Ends Every Struggles 6. (26)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 8:15-16.
“15. And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.”
“16. The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour.”
You will end your struggles with Joy, gladness will never depart your life and you will be honoured in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Psalms 30:5.
“5. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: “WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING.”
There’s a saying that, “He who laugh last, laugh best”, that was the case of Mordecai and Esther. Initially, Mordecai would have believed he lost the reward for his benevolence but at the end, he was rewarded. When you follow God wholeheartedly He will always reward and will never disappoint you. It doesn’t matter how long the waiting period may be, your morning will surely come and you will smile again. Through Mordecai and Esther’s way of life, The Jewish nation were glad and filled with joy, their shattered hope was restored. If we will walk with God steadfastly during our struggles, we will end it with Joy. Don’t give up or turn back from pleasing and standing for God, he got your back. “WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING.”

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Countering The Decree 5. (26)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 8:5-6, 8.
“5. And said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king’s provinces:”
“6. For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?”
“8. Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s ring: for the writing which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, may no man reverse.”
By the power in the name of Jesus, I pronounce a counter decree against every negative decrees in your life today in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Today, we are seeing another result of prayer in the life of Mordecai and Esther. After the restoration of all possessions of Mordecai, Esther went to seek the face of the king concerning the written decree against the Jewish nation. Mind you, whatever is written and sealed with the king’s ring can’t be reverse. But here, the King gave an order to write a counter decree against what Haman had written in order to save the Jews from Haman’s plot.
No matter what had been written concerning you and I, if they can’t be change, we can counter the decree. It doesn’t matter if it’s a family norm or reoccurring curse, by the Power of God we are rewriting them in Jesus name, Amen. You may want to ask how? By acting against the written decrees, by speaking against those known decrees against your life and destiny. You may and may not need to go the source but your words, actions and thoughts can write a counter decree. It begins now. Start the prayers, the declaration, the action. If it has been written that no member of your family will get married, begin with prayer, make yourself available and presentable, lower your principles and start working against the laid down principle. This is my principle, you may want to know, “If I can’t break the law, I create another way to overcome it” Yes, it does work. Break those ‘as usual’ written codes against your life.

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: I Shall Possess My Possessions 4. (25)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 8:1-2.
“1. On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman the Jews’ enemy unto Esther the queen. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he was unto her.”
“2. And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.”
Whatever the enemy had stolen from us shall be restored back in folds in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Many atimes when we are experiencing delay or denials of what belongs to us, it’s a preparation to experience full ofrestoration according to God’s plan. As the saying goes, “Delay is not a denial”, yes, God makes all things work together for our good only if we can pray it to be. Remember, all those points are as a result of prayers of agreement. Mordecai was denied a promotion after revealing the assassination of the king and Haman took the position, but after prayers, the position and the Estate of Haman was transfered to Mordecai. I see you receiving in double portion that which you think you’ve lost in Jesus mighty name, Amen. Every position, promotion, entitlement that you’ve been denied for years, I decree today, God of Heaven is restoring them in full in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Esther handed over the Estate of Haman to Mordecai after the King promoted him, your promotion will enjoy the speed of God. Your prayers begin to come to reality in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Remember, prayer is the foundation to restoration.

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Never Oppose The Righteous 3. (24)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 7:9-10.
“9. And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.”
“10. So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.”
Today, God will answer your hidden prayers, give you open result in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Isaiah 59:19
“19. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. WHEN THE ENEMY SHALL COME IN LIKE A FLOOD, THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD SHALL LIFT UP A STANDARD AGAINST HIM.”
The greatest fight one can not win is fighting against the righteous. God never joke with the Jewish nation, (which today are Christians) or His saint. To be called a saint means you are righteous, so, to see the anger of God is too oppose or attack the righteous. God called the righteous, the apple of His eyes in,
Zechariah 2:8
“8. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: For He That Toucheth You Toucheth The Apple Of His Eye.”
Just imagine someone intending to harm the child of a mighty man, he will react. As believers we are the apple of God’s eye if we will remain in His precept and walk according to His laws. Say with me, I AM THE APPLE OF GOD’S EYES AND I’M UNTOUCHABLE FOR THE ENEMY.
Haman never knew who Mordecai was, he wouldn’t have dare to raise his finger against Him. Watch who you oppose or attack, you might be waging a war that will end your life. May we not oppose God in all our ways in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
