TOPIC: SIGNS OF HIS COMING 6: “Cold Love for God “
Memory Verse: Rev. 22:12
“12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.”
Bible Reading: Math. 24:12-13
12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”
Lawlessness is everywhere today, even in our homes, our worship places, our businesses, all relationship we are in, lawlessness is present like human and this has caused many to become cold in their walk with Christ. Are you not affected with lawlessness around you? Are you not a partaker of it?
David said in Ps. 37,
“1 Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb.
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
Don’t be carried away by lawlessness – wickedness, fraudulent attitude of men, these things has effect on your love for God. It makes you grow cold for God. It’s an instrument in the hand of the devil against believers and it’s also the sign of the coming of Christ, don’t be a victim. Be hot for God.
