TOPIC: JUNE, WEEK OF PRAYER 1: Go Ahead Of Me Oh Lord
MEMORY VERSE:
Luke 18:1.
“1 Then He spoke a parable to them, That Men Always Ought To Pray And Not Lose Heart.”
BIBLE READING:
Exo. 13:21-22.
“21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.
22 He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.”
As we all know, this is the last week of the month of June which is our prayer week and it’s also the first week of July, so we will be having a prayer time this week and i pray, the faithful God hear us all in Jesus Mighty name.
When the Israelite left the land of Egypt through the hand of Moses, God was with them from the beginning of the journey, though many times along the way they did made God angry, still the Merciful and compassionate God kept showing them mercy, I see God doing same for us over our shortcomings in Jesus mighty name, Amen. God was leading the Israelite during the day and the night, He caused a Pillar of Cloud to go before them in the morning and a Pillar of fire during the night which signifies “The Presence of The Lord”. These pillars also show the path to follow in the wilderness in order to get to their location faster.
In Matthew Chapter 1:1-2, 9-11, we saw how the Wise men were led to Jesus Christ through a star from the East of Jerusalem to Judea in Bethlehem. The star showed them the path to where Jesus was given birth to. When men are ready to be led by God, God is ready to lead them to their destination, may we be led aright this week.
Say with me
1. Am ready to be led Oh Lord, lead me by the Pillar of cloud and Pillar of fire this week and beyond.
2. Open my eyes to see what am still missing this month in Jesus Wonderful name.
3. I refuse to miss out my portion for this month in Jesus Name, Amen.
