TOPIC: CONSEQUENCES OF DISOBEDIENCE 4: Toiling Without Result.
MEMORY VERSE:
Deute. 28:15.
“15 “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:”
BIBLE READING:
Deute. 28:23.
“And thy heaven that [is] over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee [shall be] iron.”
In Gene. 3:19, God made it known that when one toils he shall eat the fruit of his labour but when reverse is the case, that means something is wrong somewhere. God was simply saying, if we disobey His word the land will not be productive, it will not be fertile not because it’s not a good land but because the steps are against God’s instructions. When we go into business against God’s instruction and directives, it means God isn’t with us and things might not be right, other may be making profit but not for those who disobey God’s instructions. God said the heaven will become a brass and the earth iron, brass can’t allow rain neither can iron grow seeds. I pray this morning, may our land be productive and our cloud be filled with rain in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. May we make profit in all our endeavours in Jesus Name, Amen. We need to think deep and find out why things has been the way they are, let it not be that we are walking in Disobedience to God. Go back to God to seek His mind concerning that area that seems stocked.
