TOPIC: PRESENT IT BEFORE GOD 5: Righteousness.
MEMORY VERSE:
Isaiah 1:18
18 “Come now, let’s settle this,” says the lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.
BIBLE READING:
1 Kings 17:1
“1. And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.”
Righteousness exalt a nation but sin is a reproach to any people, Pro. 14:34. If God will allow anyone access to Him one of the biggest criteria is Righteousness. The scriptures says, God can’t behold sins. Righteousness draw men to God, it gives us a more direct access to have our request granted without any doubt.
Elijah, a man of Fire, as we all know was a unique prophet in that, he never experienced delays in all he’s request from God. He always potray this boldness in Him while declaring what he want, “As The Lord God Of Israel Liveth, Before Whom I Stand,” it was as a result of his righteous walk with God. This gave him the confidence to decree without taking permission from God and his requests always come to pass. We are the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ our Lord. He made us righteous and presented us before God as He, Jesus Christ, is.
2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
We need to walk in this righteousness mentality to have access to God and present our request. Jesus has taken our unrighteousness away and made us righteous. We are presentable before God. So, we need to go to God In this might, “Before the God whom I stand as His legitimate son” I decree and declare and it will be established. I pray this morning may our understanding be enlightened to know our position in God in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
