TOPIC: TRY AGAIN 7: Keep praying Till Things Changes
MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 7:7
“7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”
BIBLE READING:
Luke 18:1-5.
“1. And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2. Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3. And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5. Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.”
Beloved, that things doesn’t work the way you planned it, is not a reason to quit praying and trying this year. That your hope were dashed early in the year shouldn’t make you loose hope of change this year. Persistency is the Key. Keep trying and praying is the secret, because, “Nothing good comes easy”, so, to enjoy the best this year we need to be persistent with our prayers and actions.
Jesus speaking in parable about a Judge who neither fear God nor man. He believes in what he’s ready to do and otherwise. He has no regard for anyone, so he made himself a god. But because of the persistence of the widow, he had to listen to her plie and avenge her of her adversary. That is the power of persistent. I want to encourage us all, this year is not a year to give up but a year to give it all. A year to put in your best as you pray for fulfilment. Your persistent will bail you out this year. You will not labour in vain, neither will you pray in vain, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Good Morning and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
