TOPIC: WHAT KILLS FAITH? 4: Lack Of Action

MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 11:1.
“1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

BIBLE READING:
James 2:15-17
“15. If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16. And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Faith is unseen but action is the proof or evidence of it. Faith backed up with action increases and reproduces more reasons to grow in Faith. When you declare your Faith, you need to work it out with your action. Abraham believed God’s promise that Sarah will have Isaac, the action to back this up was for Abraham to carry out His duty with his wife. Elijah had the faith that God is sending the rain, but the action to back it up was for Elijah to pray and be sensitive.
The Faith you’ve been professing can only grow when you take the necessary action to back it up. Giving is a proof of your love. When others lack what you have, either in essence or little, and you can’t meet their needs, you’re on the verge of killing your Faith about giving. When God gives you an assignment and you are waiting for a convenient time to carry it out, your Faith has been tampered with. Acting your Faith increases and move you to the next level of Faith. You don’t faith without acting. Act your faith to prove you have the Faith and your Faith will keep growing day by day.
Good Morning And God Bless You.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
