TOPIC: WHAT KILLS FAITH? 7: Trusting In Men
MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 11:1.
“1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
BIBLE READING:
Psalms 118:8-9
“8. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
9. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.”
As we round up our study on the Topic, “What kills Faith?”, We shall be studying “Trusting In Men”, this is another Faith killer. When you expect much from men than God, when you run to men instead of God, you are killing your faith in God and strengthening your Faith in man which is not reliable. Yes, God uses men but He decides on who to use not our decision. So, when we put our confidence in men our faith diminishes in God. I always say this, Faith means, “Father, Am In Thy Hand” not Friends, Am In Thy Hands. Where we focus on determines the growth of our faith.
When we trust in man, we are saying to God, we’re done with His help. Faith in God should be 100% no matter the situation we’re in. I pray with you this day, every killers of faith in our lives, may God eliminate them in Jesus Mighty Name. Where our strength and hope in Faith has been drained, the Holy Spirit will refill us all in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Walking on your Faith daily is paramount to staying in Faith.
