TOPIC: VISION AND PROVISION 14: Provision Needs Your Attention.
MEMORY VERSE:
Habakkuk 2:2.
2. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
BIBLE READING:
1 Kings 17:20-22.
“20. And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
21. And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again.
22. And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.”
When God gives Vision, He also makes the Provision available as we have studied. God also put the solutions of those He is using in your hands also.. When God sends you on that errand, everyone and tools God uses for you also needs to be serviced by you not until they ask for it. Your Provisions, either men or resources, are not meant to be used by you without being a provision to them also. God created us for one another. Everyone and tools that has been helping you, one way or the other, also expects/ depend on you to fulfill their vision.
Elijah was taken care off by the widow and her son. One faithful day, the child died and Elijah also need to pay back what the mother has done. In this case, the widow made the request. Elisha was also a man who enjoyed provisions for His vision through the shunnamite woman. But in her case, it was Elisha who ask what can be done to this vision runner of his and met her real needs which was a child. We don’t need to see our helpers, (God given provision), going though difficulties before we help. We need to care for them because if they are not cared for they can stop being the provision they are meant for, so, we need to also meet their needs in our own little way. That many respected and honour us, listening to and obeying our commands doesn’t mean they don’t need our attention. As they attend to us we should also attend to them for our vision to be fulfilled.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Good day and God bless you.
