TOPIC: Preparing For Year 2024: Be Attentive To His Response (6)
MEMORY VERSE:
Deuteronomy 11:11-12.
“11. But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven:
12. A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.”
BIBLE READING:
Habakkuk 2:1-3
“1. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
2. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
I congratulate us all for seeing the last Friday of year 2023, May the Grace to see the last day rest upon us all in Jesus Precious name, Amen.
In continuation of our teaching, when we present our request to God we need to wait for His response. One great advantage we have with our God is that, He is a communicator, He speaks back to us, He isn’t deaf, dumb or blind, He’s not the work of men but the Almighty, so we need to wait for Him to speak to us about our request. The question in your heart is “How do i hear Him speak to me? He does speaks in various ways. Through His Audible voice, Still Small Voice (within us), Dreams, Trance, His Servants, the Scriptures and through Individuals, all we need is to be sensitive to grab what He is saying. Most times we turned a deaf ear to His voice because it doesn’t tally with what we want so we keep saying He’s not speaking.
Habakkuk said,
“1. … I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
2. And the LORD answered me,”
We need to wait till He speaks. I pray with you this morning, as we wait to hear His response, we will grab and understand His voice In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
