Topic: TRANSFORMATION: By The Praise of God

“2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Bible Reading: Acts 9:25-27
25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.
27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.
The Praise of God has nothing to do with one’s present situation. It is not what belongs to man but what belongs to God. It just has to come from man to God. The praise of God is simply, talking about how God is, who He is, Where He is, What He can do, what He has been doing and what He is doing presently. Most often we think we need to be in the mood before we can praise God, No, we just need to think of Him in His own palace and praise Him. Our present situation shouldn’t be the reason not to praise God. The praise of God should always be from within and not without because nothing from outside can make you praise God effectively.
This was the secret of Paul and Silas in the prison. Their present situation doesn’t warrant the praise of God. Their situation should attract pity because of the punishment that awaits them in the next day. But that wasn’t the case. The one who lives in them was the reason for their praises. The praise flow from within and the God of transformation transformed their situation. If any other step won’t work out your transformation, the Praise of God will. The Praise of God is the ability to think about God in that situation of yours and Reverence Him as King of all. Call Him His ancient name, think of all His act and worship him. I see him transforming your life for a better in Jesus mighty name. Give your time to Praise Him today. Forget the present situation, you are in December, Praise Him today.
