Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 15, Day (4) Wednesday, 10th April, 2024 TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Effects Of Prayer – Enhances Patience 4. (18)

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Effects Of Prayer – Enhances Patience 4. (18)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 5:6-8.
“6. And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.”
“7. Then answered Esther, and said, My petition and my request is;”
“8. If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said.”
The virtue of Patience will grow to manifestation in your lives in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
One more effect of Prayer as seen in the life of Esther is the virtue called Patience. With the atrocity committed by Haman against the Jew with the signet ring of the king, she showed patience in handling the situation. She requested for another banquet with the King and Haman for the second time. Patience makes the enemy feel they are winning without knowing their downfall is on the way. Haman had no knowledge the banquet was for his life so he was still happy dinning with Queen Esther. With all situations around our lives, even with the so called visible enemy, patience is a tool that hastens our victory. We need not to react instantly but with our prayers, patience can soften our heart and bring us the victory we desire.
On the other hand, Mordecai desired to see Haman’s downfall instantly after the dinner but never knew Esther’s patience was restoring all loses around his life. He was angry seeing Haman coming out with Joy from the king’s palace after the banquet. He’s reaction triggers Haman’s anger the more. When we’ve prayed about a situation we need to wait on God to take over the situation. Mordecai never knew it was working for his good until everything was unraveled. I pray today, that, patience to earn a befitting victory will rest upon us in Jesus name, amen. May we grow to that level where patience in handling situations will manifest in our lives in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Prayer enhances patience in the mist of situations.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Effects Of Prayer – Wisdom 3. (17)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 5:4-5.
“4. And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.”
“5. Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.”
All your prayers will be answered and your joy will know no bound in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Welcome to the continuation of Effect Of Prayers from Lessons from Mordecai and Esther. Prayer gives you wisdom to know what to say and what to do at every every moment of one’s life. The more prayerful we are the more wiser we become in handling situation. If not for wisdom, why will Esther be asking for banquet when death is handing on all Jews in the land? The joint prayer of the nation of Jews for Esther took over the situation. The king couldn’t resist her request for a banquet, he Hasting up to call Haman to prepare for the invite also.
This is another result of joint prayer, it makes available wisdom to control and respond to situations in the right way. Wisdom puts one In charge of every circumstances when it’s in action. We all need a prayer partner who can agree with us on issues confronting us. We need iron that will sharpen our iron in other to walk In wisdom. Wisdom rules the world and the fastest way to get it is by joint prayers. May God give us a supporting prayer partner in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 15, Day (2) Monday, 8th April, 2024 TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Effects Of Prayer – Open Cheque 2. (16)

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Effects Of Prayer – Open Cheque 2. (16)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 5:3.
“3. Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.”
This week, Angels will lead our path, teach our heart and bring healings for every pains in our lives in Jesus Might Name, Amen.
The effects of Collective Prayers – Open Cheque, Open request, an unnamed offer from the King was a result of prayers. Every doors answers to collectives prayers. Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 18:18-19, He said,
“18. Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
“19. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
The prayers of Jews turned law and principled abiding king to a soft hearted King with an open cheque. Most times we believe God is not listening to our prayers due to our sins or as a result of disobedience to his word. Some times all we need is an agreement prayer, collective prayer. As a family, it is good to share prayer point and have it as a focus, we can’t be disunited in prayers, either as a family, church or ministry, and expect God to be partial by answering mine or yours, rather a united prayer gains direct access. He wants to grant the desires of all His children so that one doesn’t take the glory over the other. When we are united with our prayer request, the answers are inevitable. Collectively agree and present your request to God as family, ministry, and see what God will do and how faster He will bring it to pass. Prayers bring Open cheque when prayer is done in agreement.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 15, Day (1)Sunday, 7th April, 2024TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Effects Of Prayer 1. (15)

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Effects Of Prayer 1. (15)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 5:3-4.
“3. Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.”
“4. And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.”
Happy Sunday to everyone, may our lives and services be acceptable to God in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Yesterday, we discussed how Esther presented herself before the King and how he welcomed her with Joy. I will be discussing the effect of sincerity and agreement in prayers for some days in this lesson. Remember what Esther told her uncle when she was instructed to go before the King, she said,
Esther 4:11.
“11. All the king’s servants, and the people of the king’s provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days.
That was the punishment of appearing before the king without invitation. But after three days of prayer and fasting, everything changed, why? Because of the sincereness and agreement in prayer. Unity in prayer have an effect without limit. Remember in the book of Acts 12:5, when Apostle Peter was kept in prison, the scripture says,
“5. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.”
The collective and specific prayer of the church brought Apostle Peter out of the prison unarmed. When we collectively pray in agreement over a singular point, the effect can’t be measured. It’s a new week, I will want us to try this out in our various homes, to call out a fasting and prayer for a singular reasons and jointly pray in agreement, either for day or days and see what God will do. Nothing is impossible when presented in prayers. it’s a season to pray in agreement, let’s put it to work.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 14, Day (7)Saturday, 6th April, 2024. LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Be Presentable Not Just Spiritual (14)

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Be Presentable Not Just Spiritual (14)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 5:1-2.
“1. Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.”
“2. And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.”
May this weekend be full answers of prayers for you in Jesus name, Amen.
We’ve seen how the Jews went into prayers for Esther to be able to face the king without her being sent for. Our Bible Reading today shows that the three days fasting and prayer was over and Esther presented herself before the king. The lesson today is, how she presented herself. Yes, they’ve prayed and fasted but she has to be presentable in order to be acceptable by the king. Spirituality has it place likewise, presentability also has it’s place. Esther was gorgeously dressed in her royal Queen attire in order to win the heart of the king.
Most times, we believers overlook our appearance and are carried away by spirituality. God speaking in 1st Samuel 16 verses 8, saying,
“8. But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: FOR THE LORD SEETH NOT AS MAN SEETH; FOR MAN LOOKETH ON THE OUTWARD APPEARANCE, BUT THE LORD LOOKETH ON THE HEART.
Men are carried away by the appearance but God is moved by spirituality. Our appearance matters a lot when it comes to receiving favour from men. How we present ourself determines our acceptability to men. We need to be presentable before we can be acceptable. As the saying goes, “You will be addressed the way your are dressed.” The king was moved first by Esther’s royal appearance (even though the spiritual foundation has been laid). Be presentable moderately with what you have and always look good in your appearance. Spirituality doesn’t move men, it’s your appearance that speaks first.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 14: Day 6: Friday, 5th April, 2024 TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Take The Risk After Prayers (13)

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Take The Risk After Prayers (13)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 4:16.
“16… and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: AND IF I PERISH, I PERISH.”
The Lord will give you breakthrough in all you’re going through this year in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Prayers are communication medium between God and man. When we communicate with Him He responds with ideas, strength, helpers or audible voice needed for our request. In the case of Esther, even before the prayers, she made up her mind to take the risk to present herself before the King. Many atimes we pray and fast but delay in taking step. We are slow in taking risk because we are too careful which is a sign of being fearful.
Talking about risk, remember the four lepers in 2nd Kings 7,
“4. If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.”
Their risk was the fulfilment of a prophecy by Elisha for surplus in famine. The same was what happened here, Esther decided to take a risk that will prolong the race of the Jewish nation by appearing before the King unannounced. She told her uncle, “If I perish, I perish”. Can we take such risk in our lives concerning that assignment? Can you take the risk to protect that home, that life and that call upon your life? It’s time to take the risk. Face your fear and move forward. There’s always a valley behind every monutain.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 14: Day 5: Thursday, 4th April, 2024 TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Tell It To God (12)

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 14: Day 5:
Thursday, 4th April, 2024

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Tell It To God (12)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 4:15-16.
“15. Then Esther bade them return Mordecai this answer,”
“16. Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; …”
Today shall bring you Joy, headway, and fresh inspiration to those situations that seems endless in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Proverbs 22:6, has this to say,
“6. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Esther was well trained, she knew what Mordecai will do when faced with difficult situations such as this but he was beclouded and lost focus of God until Esther reminded him. Mostly, in difficult times we turn to men instead of God. We tender our requests to men and pray God uses them to answer our prayers, when we are supposed to speak to God first before speaking to men. Esther reminded her uncle of the importance of prayer and pleaded with him to spread the news to all Jews to fast and pray while she and her maid will also do same to that effect.
God can’t be sideline, He should be the first and not the last, He’s meant to lead us not we leading Him. Have you spoken to God about those situations or you’ve concluded in your mind the person God should use? These are reasons for disappointment.
Hebrew 12: 2 says, “Looking up to Jesus, the Author and finisher of our faith…” Who do you look up to? It should always be God first, others second not the other way round. Fasting and prayer are tools to change things for good. Pray to God about everything because He cares so much for us.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 14: Day 4:
Wednesday, 3rd April, 2024

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Reach Out For Help (11)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 4:13-14.
“13. Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews.”
“14. For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
The wisdom to handle situations stirring at you and I will be given to us in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Yesterday, we discussed Haman’s treat towards the Jews all because of Mordecai. He received the order from the king to put to death every trace of Jew in the land not knowing that Esther, the Queen, was also a Jew. His plan was sealed with the singlet ring of the King which means it can’t be changed or alter. But Mordecai knew what to do next. He knew where next to go. He reached out to the one he had placed in position, his Uncle’s daughter who was the queen. He launched out and reminded her, “We all need your help. It’s your time to reciprocate all my effort on you.”
May I tell you this which have found to be true many times; helping people today is creating streams of helpers for your tomorrow. Not all that you helped will reciprocate but one of those you’ve helped will be the needed answer in your time of need. Your effort on that person isn’t a waste, it’s an investment. Yes, there are people who turned against their helpers when needed most but that shouldn’t be the reason why you won’t help. Those you’ve helped will respond to your request. Mordecai also called on Esther whom he has helped to the position of a queen. Don’t be shy to make request, it’s not a crime to harvest from your investment but don’t become a burden on them. Reach out to those you’ve been a blessing to when you need help, it’s not begging it’s call asking.
Good Day and God bless you.
