TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Knowing Christ Through You 7. (27)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 8:17.
“17. And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king’s commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. AND MANY OF THE PEOPLE OF THE LAND BECAME JEWS; FOR THE FEAR OF THE JEWS FELL UPON THEM.”
May our lives win souls for Christ in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Happy weekend to all our readers, and thanks for your encouragement. As we round up our Lesson on Mordecai and Esther, we do love to have your testimony and experiences on Our Daily Devotional if really, God has been ministering to you. Part of our mission is to increase the kingdom of God and depopulate the kingdom of devil through our messages, and also to strengthen believers in their walk with Christ through the teachings of God’s word
Mordecai and Esther was able to establish this through their faith and prayer life. The scriptures said, “AND MANY OF THE PEOPLE OF THE LAND BECAME JEWS; FOR THE FEAR OF THE JEWS FELL UPON THEM.”
They surrendered their lives to the God of the Jews, this is like winning souls for Christ. Has or can your character win souls for Christ? Are your decisions and principles working against God? The way you behave with position, money, fame including age, can souls follow you to Christ? Esther and Mordecai needed not to preach much to win souls, what they’ve done speaks louder than preaching, likewise, your attitude speaks louder than your words. Whatever stops men from following you to God’s presence need to be do away with, it’s time to be a soul winner with your words, thought and actions.
Good Day and God bless you.

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 8:15-16.
“15. And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.”
“16. The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour.”
You will end your struggles with Joy, gladness will never depart your life and you will be honoured in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Psalms 30:5.
“5. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: “WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING.”
There’s a saying that, “He who laugh last, laugh best”, that was the case of Mordecai and Esther. Initially, Mordecai would have believed he lost the reward for his benevolence but at the end, he was rewarded. When you follow God wholeheartedly He will always reward and will never disappoint you. It doesn’t matter how long the waiting period may be, your morning will surely come and you will smile again. Through Mordecai and Esther’s way of life, The Jewish nation were glad and filled with joy, their shattered hope was restored. If we will walk with God steadfastly during our struggles, we will end it with Joy. Don’t give up or turn back from pleasing and standing for God, he got your back. “WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING.”
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Countering The Decree 5. (26)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 8:5-6, 8.
“5. And said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king’s provinces:”
“6. For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?”
“8. Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s ring: for the writing which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, may no man reverse.”
By the power in the name of Jesus, I pronounce a counter decree against every negative decrees in your life today in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Today, we are seeing another result of prayer in the life of Mordecai and Esther. After the restoration of all possessions of Mordecai, Esther went to seek the face of the king concerning the written decree against the Jewish nation. Mind you, whatever is written and sealed with the king’s ring can’t be reverse. But here, the King gave an order to write a counter decree against what Haman had written in order to save the Jews from Haman’s plot.
No matter what had been written concerning you and I, if they can’t be change, we can counter the decree. It doesn’t matter if it’s a family norm or reoccurring curse, by the Power of God we are rewriting them in Jesus name, Amen. You may want to ask how? By acting against the written decrees, by speaking against those known decrees against your life and destiny. You may and may not need to go the source but your words, actions and thoughts can write a counter decree. It begins now. Start the prayers, the declaration, the action. If it has been written that no member of your family will get married, begin with prayer, make yourself available and presentable, lower your principles and start working against the laid down principle. This is my principle, you may want to know, “If I can’t break the law, I create another way to overcome it” Yes, it does work. Break those ‘as usual’ written codes against your life.
Good Day and God bless you.

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 8:1-2.
“1. On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman the Jews’ enemy unto Esther the queen. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he was unto her.”
“2. And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.”
Whatever the enemy had stolen from us shall be restored back in folds in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Many atimes when we are experiencing delay or denials of what belongs to us, it’s a preparation to experience full ofrestoration according to God’s plan. As the saying goes, “Delay is not a denial”, yes, God makes all things work together for our good only if we can pray it to be. Remember, all those points are as a result of prayers of agreement. Mordecai was denied a promotion after revealing the assassination of the king and Haman took the position, but after prayers, the position and the Estate of Haman was transfered to Mordecai. I see you receiving in double portion that which you think you’ve lost in Jesus mighty name, Amen. Every position, promotion, entitlement that you’ve been denied for years, I decree today, God of Heaven is restoring them in full in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Esther handed over the Estate of Haman to Mordecai after the King promoted him, your promotion will enjoy the speed of God. Your prayers begin to come to reality in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Remember, prayer is the foundation to restoration.

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 7:9-10.
“9. And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.”
“10. So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.”
Today, God will answer your hidden prayers, give you open result in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Isaiah 59:19
“19. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. WHEN THE ENEMY SHALL COME IN LIKE A FLOOD, THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD SHALL LIFT UP A STANDARD AGAINST HIM.”
The greatest fight one can not win is fighting against the righteous. God never joke with the Jewish nation, (which today are Christians) or His saint. To be called a saint means you are righteous, so, to see the anger of God is too oppose or attack the righteous. God called the righteous, the apple of His eyes in,
Zechariah 2:8
“8. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: For He That Toucheth You Toucheth The Apple Of His Eye.”
Just imagine someone intending to harm the child of a mighty man, he will react. As believers we are the apple of God’s eye if we will remain in His precept and walk according to His laws. Say with me, I AM THE APPLE OF GOD’S EYES AND I’M UNTOUCHABLE FOR THE ENEMY.
Haman never knew who Mordecai was, he wouldn’t have dare to raise his finger against Him. Watch who you oppose or attack, you might be waging a war that will end your life. May we not oppose God in all our ways in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 7:3-6.
“3. Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:”
“4. For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king’s damage.”
“5. Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?”
“6. And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.”
This week, we will not be defeated, there shall be no loss and no victim around us In Jesus Name, Amen.
Welcome to a new week as we round up our lessons on Mordecai and Esther. Today, I’m speaking on, “Use your Position Wisely”. Many persons used their position carelessly. I will say this again, “You’re not where you are for your sake only but for the sake of others too.” God placed you there to save lives not to enjoy life alone. When your position affect your immediate people negatively, you’ve got it all wrong. Many Christians use their position against fellow christians and lift others all because they are principled, a time is coming when you will regret not doing the right thing.
Esther was placed at the palace because of the Jewish nation and she never disappointed them. She uncovered the reason of the banquet in the presence of Haman. She made her nation known for the first time and the king never paid attention to her nation rather their assassination signed by him. What if Esther had kept quiet, will the King ever know where she was from? Will the Jewish nation be saved? What if she was selfish and saved herself because she was in the palace already, won’t she leave the throne one day? What are you doing with your position? Are you speaking and standing for your people or against them? Judgement was declared upon Haman instantly as the hunter became hunted. Use your position to speak for your people, your family, and your fellow Christians. Don’t practice tribalism because it will work against you later. It’s time to speak for people with your position.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 16, Day (1) Sunday, 14th April, 2024 TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: We Are Undefeatable 1. (22)

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: We Are Undefeatable 1. (22)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 6:12-13.
“12. And Mordecai came again to the king’s gate. But Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his head covered.”
“13. And Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.”
When we stand with and for the Lord, it’s impossible for us to be defeated, and if peradventure it seems we are defeated, it’s the Lord bringing out good from our ugliness, because we are undefeatable in Christ. When Haman was promoted instead of Mordecai, many taught that was the end of him but He never bowed to pressure nor defeat because he knows his identity. Holding unto our identity in Christ inspite of defeat, disappointment or delay is what establishes the who we are in Christ. Never accepting defeat. Never give in to defeat.
When Haman got home from bowing before Mordecai throughout the city, his friends and wife said to Him, “IF MORDECAI IS A JEW YOU CAN’T PREVAIL OVER HIM” meaning, we are undefeated until we give in to defeat. No matter how many times we’ve failed we are not a failure, we are only going through a process and on our way to victory. The scriptures in Micah 7:8,
“8. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.”
I don’t know how you are feeling this morning, I don’t know what you are going through and all the defeat you’ve gone through life, the Lord is saying to you this morning, “You Are Rising Again”, “Your Light Is Shining Again”, “You are coming out Victorious” if only you will hold unto what God said about you. You are not defeatable as a believer.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Effects Of Prayer – Double Portion Reward 7. (21)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 6:8-11
“8. Let the royal apparel be brought which the king useth to wear, and the horse that the king rideth upon, and the crown royal which is set upon his head:”
“9. And let this apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that they may array the man withal whom the king delighteth to honour, and bring him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaim before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to honour.”
“10. Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king’s gate: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken.”
“11. Then took Haman the apparel and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and brought him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaimed before him, Thus shall it be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour.”
This month, your reward shall be released in a grand style that even your enemies will be forced to celebrate with you in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Haman, the enemy of the Jews, came so early to seek the king’s permission, to hang Mordecai on his prepared gallon. Remember, the king couldn’t sleep over night until Mordecai’s case was mentioned. When the king asked who was present at the palace, it was Haman. The King asked him how a favorite of the King should be honoured ? And Haman gave an illustration of how he’ll love to be honoured by the king and how someone like Mordecai should bow before him, and the king responded by saying, do accordingly to Mordecai without removing anything. Haman was made to bow before his archenemy Mordecai, your enemy will bow before you in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Brethren, this is what Prayer Of Agreement can do when it’s enforced in unity. Remember, Esther was yet to make her request known to the King but Mordecai has been honoured already, just imagine how Esther will be feeling when Haman was before Mordecai who is now seated on the horse, our enemies will be put to shame, they shall fall in the pit they prepare for us in Jesus Might Name, Amen. What is that situation confronting you as a mountain? Get a prayer partner who can agree together with you, for nothing is impossible for God when prayer of agreement is rendered wholeheartedly. Enforce Prayer of Agreement and see the result, God will harken to our voices in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Effects Of Prayer – It Enhances Remembrance 6. (20)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 6:1-3.
“1. On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.”
“2. And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.”
“3. And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.”
“My God will touch the heart of men to remember your impact and reward you in Jesus Name, Amen.”
Effect of Prayer of Agreement in the life of believers. It also bears to mind, your rewards for past impact in other’s life. It brings your good dealing to mind. We saw how the king was seriously restless after dinning with Esther. No entertainment for him that night, every where looks silent all because agreement prayer is still active. He sent for the book of record, where every occurrences in his kingdom was documented. I imagined how he was flipping over the pages of the record, or better still, how he listened attentively to every detail read to him by his servant. Then he stubbled at where Esther informed the king about the discovery of Mordecai, and he asked, what rewards was given to him? It was made known that nothing was done. I declare today, your helpers, destiny helpers who are yet to honour you for your impact in their lives, will begin to have a flashback to reward you accordingly, from today in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
The came to the King’s mind, can this be reason for Esther’s banquet? Remember it was Esther who informed the King and it was accounted to Mordecai, Esther 2:22. Prayer of agreement unveiled unrewarded act of Mordecai, as you pray, men will recall your positive influence over their lives and honour you, bless you and change your position for life. There’s nothing prayer can’t change or bring to pass. Indulging in the act of agreement prayer restores unrewarded blessings, this will be our portion hence forth in Jesus name, Amen.

TOPIC: LESSON FROM MORDECAI AND ESTHER: Effects Of Prayer – Causes Unrest 5. (19)

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:6.
“6. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 6:1.
“1. On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.
This week, as you observe agreement Prayers, it will cause unrest in the camp of your helpers in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Still unveiling the result of prayer of agreement. It causes unrest in the camps of those assigned to lift you, assist you and those withholding what belongs to you. After the banquet that night, the scripture said the king couldn’t sleep, he was restless, sleep became impossible, why? Because agreement prayer is at work, because God is responding to the request of His children. Yes Haman went home happy that night, celebrating the privilege to dine with the queen without asking reasons why he was called to such an occasion. Some times we need to ask questions when some unexpected or unqualified honours is bestowed on us, just like Haman and also Naboth who was set up by Jazebel to be killed because he rejected the request of the king, 2nd Kings 21:1-13. Haman was carried away with the honour while the king was troubled throughout the night about what Esther’s request may be. Prayer of agreement has the power to trouble any authority at any level, just let the prayer be rendered in unity with one goal as the focus. Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 18:19-20.
“19. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
“20. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
Two of you can pray a prayer of agreement and God will do as you requested.
