TOPIC: WHAT IS FAITH? Faith Is In Levels (6)

MEMORY VERSE:
Romans 10:17.
“17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

BIBLE READING:
Luke 17:6.
“6. And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.”
Happy New Month to you all. We bless the name of the Lord for how far He has seen us through these past two month despite the situations around the globe, may His name be praised forevermore, Amen.
Faith is based on level. When I say level, I’m not talking of position in the physical, age or title but levels in the Spirit. Likewise, our faith may be strong in some ways and be low in other areas. But whatever level is your faith, it can create what you desire.
Let’s see some examples of level of Faith in the Bible,
1. The Widow with her little mite.
Mark 12:41-42.
“41. And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
42. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
This is a level of faith. She was a poor widow with 2 coins in all. She had the faith of God’s sustainability so she was able to let go of that mites of her. Do you know many wealthy and rich person’s don’t have this faith? But a widow has it and acted it. That is a level of faith.
2. The Canaanite woman.
Matthew 15:25-28.
“25. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.
28.Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
Jesus called her faith, Great Faith. Despite being called a dog she kept pressing till she got her daughter’s healing. It’s another level of Faith.
3. The Centurion.
Matthew 8:8-10.
8. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
9. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
10. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Jesus called this, “So Great Faith”. He is a leader with faith according to His level.
You can only act according to the level of your faith. Can the widow act according to the faith of The centurion? No. Can the centurion act according to the faith of the Canaanite woman? he’s above that. Your Faith can only work according to your level. Identify your level and act accordingly, even small faith like mustard seeds move the mountain.
Just act in accordance to your faith and you will have your result.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: WHAT IS FAITH? Taking Risk For God (5)

MEMORY VERSE:
Romans 10:17.
“17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 17:31-32.
”31. And when the words were heard which David spake, they rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him.
32. And David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.
I decree and declare, today, none shall know shame, reproach shall be far from you, and honour shall locate you in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen
What is Faith? It’s taking Risk For God, risking things in the name of the Lord. This time, you don’t hear God speak of what to do but you decided to stand for God, to oppose reproach on His behalf. Nehemiah, the three Hebrew boys and David none of them heard God speak to them to take the risk they took but they did because they knew God worth the risk. It was faith that propelled Nehemiah to meet the king and asked for rebuilding of the collapse wall of Jerusalem, Nehemiah 2. He was a slave, how dare him speak to the king about a nation he captured and destroyed? Faith is risking it all for God. The three Hebrew boys said to the King,
17. “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. – Daniel 3:17-18.
These are slaves who by Faith took the risk and their faith was never put to shame, your faith will bring you honour in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
David wasn’t a warrior, he was a shepherd boy who uses a stick to guide the flocks. But a time came when he took a risk on God to fight a man who has been fighting wars for years, a giant for that matter and God backed him up. When your Faith is to make God known, He backs up your faith, He fuel’s your risk and give you result. Those risk ahead of you, are they for God’s Glory or self Glory? Your risk will fail when God is secondary or not involved. Taking risk that focuses on God is Faith defined.
Good Day and God bless you.

TOPIC: WHAT IS FAITH? Believing The Impossible (4)

MEMORY VERSE:
Romans 10:17.
“17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

BIBLE READING:
Hebrews 11:7
“7. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Today, every troublesome situations, straining its ugly head to stop your life, by the Power In the Name of Jesus, they shall crumble, Amen.
Welcome to the continuation of our topic this week, “What is Faith?” Faith also means, “Believing The Impossible”. You may want to ask, what’s the difference between “Believing The Impossible” and “Receiving in Hope”? For Abram to have a child, it’s a normal thing, the issue was that the child was not forth coming, that is Receiving in Hope. In the days of Noah, there was never rain, water dropping from Heaven without anyone’s effort. Like the spirit telling you, My son, an aircrafts will land in your compound today when you have no relative who ever owns an aircraft and you live in a place which can hardly contain three cars at once, and you believed it, that is “Believing the Impossible”.
The Miracle of Jesus’ birth by Mary was Faith based on “Believing The Impossible”. Mary was a virgin, never had sexual intercourse with any man but she will be with a child, Luke 1:33-37. Even Zacharias, a priest, married man, couldn’t walk in that level of Faith, Luke 1:18-21.
Faith is believing the Impossible. In the days of Elijah, when he was faced with Eight hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, He operated in this level of Faith, He said, “let the God that answer by Fire be the God indeed” 1 Kings 18:24, 36- 38. Without fire, a sacrifice soaked with drums of water caught fire, Believing in the Impossible.
I don’t know that situation of yours, this morning, if you will choose to walk in this level of Faith, your impossibility will become possibility before the end of first quarter of the year in Jesus Miraculous name, Amen.
This was the level of Faith Noah walked in. He believed that water will come from heaven and prepare an ark for safety. It doesn’t matter the situation of your country presently, by Believing in the impossible, you will be exempted from negative report in Jesus Powerful name, Amen.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 10, Day 3: Tuesday, 27th February, 2024 TOPIC: WHAT IS FAITH? Pleasing God (3)

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 10, Day 3:
Tuesday, 27th February, 2024

TOPIC: WHAT IS FAITH? Pleasing God (3)

MEMORY VERSE:
Romans 10:17.
“17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

BIBLE READING:
Hebrews 11:5-6.
“5. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, THAT HE PLEASED GOD.
6. BUT WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Today, we shall work in wisdom, walk in wisdom and speak with wisdom, we are becoming Wisdom personify in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
What is Faith? Faith is Pleasing God the Almighty. I hope you’re not confused with this? Yes, we might be committed Christians and not Please God. We can be an eye service person, title oriented, mantle controller like the Pharisees in the days of Jesus. Many desired to do things for God but in their own way. When you are moved to fund some certain aspect in your denomination and the leading pastors says, “This area is more important than that area, let’s use the resources for this”, you begin to feel like, “this is what I want you to do with my funding not that”, you might be carrying out His will but not pleasing God.
May I say this quickly, Faith isn’t an easy ride, Pleasing God isn’t an easy decision to take so, this makes it difficult to do. Enoch was no more because he pleased the Lord and it pleases God to take him alive, and it was counted as Faith. Faith doesn’t end at saying a thing and acting a thing. If we can’t please God with our decisions, habit, attitude and our time, we’re not walking in Faith. How often do we please God in and at our work place, marriage, ministry and life generally? We are all inclusive in this. If we want to please God we need to walk in Faith by Pleasing our God.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 10, Day 2: Monday, 26th February, 2024 TOPIC: WHAT IS FAITH? Giving Acceptable Gift (2)

Week 10, Day 2:

TOPIC: WHAT IS FAITH? Giving Acceptable Gift (2)

MEMORY VERSE:
Romans 10:17.
“17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

BIBLE READING:
Hebrews 11:4.
“4. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.”
This week, our going out and coming in is bless, we are around but not available for negativity in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
What is Faith according to the Bible? Faith is “Giving An Acceptable Gift to God”, sowing the right and good seed to God’s Glory. Remember, without faith, it’s impossible to please the Lord, Hebrews 11:6. What else do we have to say, for Abel to be counted among the heros of Faith, Just His acceptable gift. God was so pleased with his faith that he challenged Cain of his anger. When you give your gifts, sacrifices, pledges, offering wholeheartedly, it’s Faith in action. What did Abel gave?
Genesis 4:4.
“4. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
What propelled him to give the firstly of his flocks was Faith and with this His name was mentioned in the hall of Faith. When Solomon made His sacrifice to God it was in faith, 1Kings 3:4, the Lord visited him to ask what he desires of Him. Every genuine giving is a product of Faith. For without Faith, all our giving will be an eye service just like that of Cain, he also gave to God but not by Faith. Faith is giving genuinely to God.

Week 10, Day 1:

TOPIC: WHAT IS FAITH? Received While Hoping (1)

MEMORY VERSE:
Romans 10:17.
“17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

BIBLE READING:
Hebrews 11:1.
“1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
This week you will be Stronger, Bigger and Wiser in every facet of life, result oriented in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
I welcome you to the new week that the Lord has ordained for everyone. This week, we shall be speaking on Faith in different perspectives from the Book of Hebrews. What is Faith? Faith, according to Hebrews chapter 11 and verses 1, “Is the SUBSTANCE of things HOPE FOR, EVIDENCE of things not seen”, in order words, Received while Hoping. You don’t have it yet but acting as if you had it, This is Faith. This is the first level of Faith shown by Abram. Think of it, why will a man of Seventy-Five years old just heard God for the first time in his life, after he’s father’s death, and He believed God and started walking with Him because of the promise – Genesis 12:1? Imagine a man without a child and God said, “You shall be a great Nation”- Genesis 12:2. Faith in Him – was having it before the manifestation. We don’t walk in Faith by believing in alternative, No. Faith is a total focus on God, seeing what He promised before hand.
When Abram shifted in his faith by welcoming Sarai’s idea, it took thirteen years before communication between him and God was restored, Genesis 16:15-16 – 17:1. Faith is having it before it’s arrival, holding it before receiving it. God said to Abram,
“15. For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
18. Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD. – Genesis 13:15, 18
“Then Abram removed his tent” acting as if it’s received. We claim we have Faith, do we act immediately after professing the Faith-based word? What is Faith? It’s Receiving While Hoping. It’s time to act Faith and not just talk Faith.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 9, Day 7:
Saturday, 24th February, 2024

TOPIC: GOD’S CALLING: Outcome Of His Call (21)

MEMORY VERSE:
Exodus 23:25.
“25. And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

BIBLE READING:
Romans 8:30.
“30. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”
We bless the Lord for the end of this week. Thanks for His Mercy and Favour around us, may His name be praise forever more, Amen.
Today, being the last day on the topic, God’s Call, we shall be looking at the rewards for responding to God’s Calling. God has never and will never be a debtor to anyone. He rewards everyone here on earth and in heaven. Our rewards are not just in heaven, we will enjoy from this Earth.
First reward to know when you answer His call is that, He justifies you. Remember when Aaron and Miriam rose against Moses in Numbers 12 for marrying an Ethiopian woman, they were right, but He was justified by God. That is justification for those who God has called. God becomes their judge, no one is permitted to judge them. You are justified by God.
Secondly, He glorifies those He called. God can’t assign you and not show you His glory. He will rub His glory on you, Shame shall be far away from you. Studying many of those who gave in to God’s call during our three weeks study, you would have noticed how God glorified them.
Thirdly, He will always be with you.
“20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20.
Jesus assures everyone who responds to God’s call that He will never leave us during our assignment. There is reward in accepting God’s call, likewise there are challenges but He will always be with us come what may. I pray with you this day, you will be justified and be glorified in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. You will never be alone as you go on with His call in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 9, Day 6:
Friday, 23ed February, 2024

TOPIC: CRITERIA FOR HIS CALLING: Call Can’t Be Withdrawn (20)

MEMORY VERSE:
Exodus 23:25.
“25. And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

BIBLE READING:
Romans 11:29.
“29. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”
Our today’s outing shall bring us proof for all our labour in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
As we are rounding up on the topic, The Call Of God, today, I’ll like to let you know that, God doesn’t withdraw His call upon His servants. Your calling differ from other’s calling,so He can’t withdraw someone else’s calling and give it to you, No. You are replacing someone doesn’t mean you will carry his calling, your duty and assignment will be different from that of your superiors. When God calls, He gives new assignment according to your calling not according to other’s calling. That one fails God doesn’t mean his replacement will carry on from where he stop, He’s not going to withdraw anyone’s call from them because His gift and calling are without repentance.
Romans 11:29
29 For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn. (NLT)
When one fails God, He raises someone else to carry on the task ahead but not in the way of the failed minister. Do we think Joshua would have carried the Israelite from Egypt to Canaan land without quiting along the way? No, his calling wasn’t like that of Moses. Elisha took over from Elijah but their calling still differ. Every ministers, either fulfilled or failed, goes away with their calling, they don’t hand it over. This is my question today, are you going to live fulfilled with that calling of God upon you? Are you carrying out that call or you still have excuses for responding to the call? Listen, the assignment can only be delayed but can’t be withdrawn from you. It’s time to start functioning with that call to his God’s Glory. His call upon you and I is without repentance.
Good Day and God bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 9, Day 5: Thursday, 22nd February, 2024 TOPIC: CRITERIA FOR HIS CALLING: By Discipline (19)

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 9, Day 5:
Thursday, 22nd February, 2024

TOPIC: CRITERIA FOR HIS CALLING: By Discipline (19)

MEMORY VERSE:
Exodus 23:25.
“25. And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

BIBLE READING:
Daniel 1:8, 11-12
“8. But Daniel was determined not to defile himself by eating the food and wine given to them by the king. He asked the chief of staff for permission not to eat these unacceptable foods.
11. Daniel spoke with the attendant who had been appointed by the chief of staff to look after Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah.
12 “Please test us for ten days on a diet of vegetables and water,” Daniel said.”
The mercy of God shall locate and transform your life this week in Jesus wonderful name, Amen.
To move forward in our study we shall focus on Discipline as another criteria for God’s call. A Disciplined person is a person prepared for God’s call. Every assignment of God entails discipline, an undisciplined person will never attract His attention. No matter the gift you possess without discipline success can’t be achieved so therefore, God searches out for discipline souls to extend His calls to.
Daniel and his four friends were slaves in Babylon. They would have seen the place as a place of enjoyment and pleasure but we learnt they disciplined their selves from eating the kings meal and opted for vegetables and water. Not a wonder when they came out ten times better than their equals after ten days. If they were better just ten days, how would they have been after one month, a year and for many days in the land of Babylon? Discipline in our words, thought, attitude, money and habits is a criteria God searches for in a vessel. May I ask if you are discipline enough to move with God’s call? Discipline is one key that God is interested in His servant. When you have this lifestyle God can’t look away from you.
Good Day and God bless you.
