Week 23, Day 7:
Saturday, 10th June 2023.

Topic: ELIJAH AND THE THREE CAPTAINS 7: God’s Intervention

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 75:7.
“7. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 1:15.
“15. And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.”
The success of any assignment in life lies on God’s Intervention. Until God steps into your situation the needed result might not be achieved. We pray, fast, and work hard with diligence, all of these are tools to attract God’s Intervention. Success is our core duty and can only be achieved when God intervenes.
The third Captain, came humbly, presented his reason reasonably, and the angel intervene on his behalf, told Prophet Elijah, “Go down with him: be not afraid of him.” For our situations to end in success we need the intervention of God. Prophet Elijah never gave up on consuming the Captain of the King but it took the angel to stop him from destroyng a humble man and his fifty.
I will like us to pray for God’s Intervention but, can our way of life attract Him? Can our selfish attitude, pride, power, abuse, drunkenness and position give room to God to intervene? God needs a space before He steps in, are you willing to give Him the space with your habit? If yes, then you can call Him to intervene in that situation and He will grant you success.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s  fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Topic: ELIJAH AND THE THREE CAPTAINS 6: Be Humble Always

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 75:7.
“7. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 1:13-14.
“13. And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.
14. Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.”
Powers are in level, just as it is in the physical, so it is in the spiritual and power also answer to humility. No matter how powerful or wicked a man/woman may be, when he or she is approached in humility every of his or her guide are brought low. Even our God changes His mind when a sinner humbly surrender himself to God. It’s not in appearance but the content of the heart flowing out from the mouth that makes one humble. Humility doesn’t ends by prostrating or bowing your head but by the words from the dept of your heart.
Elijah would have prepared to roast the third captain and his fifty as they were coming but he’s heart melted when he heard the outpour of the humble third captain. Many lost the opportunity to rise in life because they lack humility, humbleness and are power frick. Get this today, no matter the height you are, someone is still above you, and remember, you can never be above God no matter your wisdom. Be humble with the use of your power and position. Stop belittling others, go down to earn your position and your rightful place in life. Jesus’ humility gave Him authority above all powers, make humility your life style and you will be lifted.

Topic: ELIJAH AND THE THREE CAPTAINS 5: Do Things Differently

Smile…
Our fifth lesson for today says, “Do Things Differently.” The difference between the first two captains and third captain was their approach to the Man Of God. That people do things and it’s wasn’t working for them doesn’t mean it won’t work for you, all you need to do is to do it differently, change the techniques and think out of the box. The same man of God, that the same King sent his captains and their fifty soldiers but different techniques.
The scripture said, “he fell down to his knee” and appealed to the Prophet to have mercy on him and his fifty. He put aside the king’s command, the result was what count not how it was done. He also had the same weapon as the other captains but approached the Prophet differently. What is the issue that has been giving you Negative result? I huge you today, do it differently and you will achieve your goals.
Good day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 23, Day 4: Wednesday, 7th June 2023. Topic: ELIJAH AND THE THREE CAPTAINS 4: Leaders Responsibility

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 23, Day 4:
Wednesday, 7th June 2023.

Topic: ELIJAH AND THE THREE CAPTAINS 4: Leaders Responsibility

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 75:7.
“7. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 1:9-10
“9. Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down.”
10. And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.”
Our focus today is “Leader’s Responsibility”. Leadership is a responsibility, leave it or take it. As a leader your decision has powerful impact over those you’re leading, either for good or bad, they are your responsibility. As a father, you are a leader, as first child, male or female, you are a leader. As a mother, yes, you’re a leader too. I always say this, everyone is a leader one way or the other, and It’s your responsibility to protect those you’re leading.
Those two captains couldn’t recognize they are responsible for the survival of those fifty Soldiers that follows them each. Their words to Elijah brought destruction on those they were leading. You need to know that, those lives that serves under you are your responsibility, you will give account for their lives. Every decision you make, you need to consider them and not be selfish on pleasing yourself alone. How responsible are you to those people you’re leading? Remember, as a leader, you’re accountable to the Divine Leader, so be responsible for their lives.
Good day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 23, Day 3:
Tuesday, 6th June 2023.

Topic: ELIJAH AND THE THREE CAPTAINS 3: No One Desires To Go Down

Our third lesson from “Prophet Elijah and the Captains” is, No One Desires to leave a better place. Nobody want to be dethroned at all cost, we all want to go higher In life, not going lower than where we are, so when you intend to bring others down, be prepare to go below than your present level too. Only a lazy man will give up easily when confronted to leave his rightful position.
Elijah used all that’s in his care to remain at His position. He refuse to go down according to the words of the captains. He decree that fire should consume everyone looking for his down fall, He made it a “No Mercy” battle. What are you doing to retain your position? To maintain your position in that marriage, place of work, environment and ministry, are you giving in to frustration or diabolic means? All you need to do is to hold unto God and retain your position. Do all you can to remain where God has place you in your calling. It took Elijah to sacrifice One Hundred And Two persons for him to retain His position. Go to God in prayers and fasting, and fight the fight of Faith to maintain, retain and move to the next position in life. Your position has an enemy eyeing it.
Good day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitful Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 23, Day 2:
Monday, 5th June 2023.

Topic: ELIJAH AND THE THREE CAPTAINS 2: Wisdom For Every Assignment.

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 75:7.
“7. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 1:9.
“9. Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down.”
Brethren, our second lesson is “Wisdom For Every Assignment.” Every assignment committed to you needs a specific wisdom to achieve it. Every commandment of God still needs personal wisdom, how much more men’s assignment. Wherever you’re sent, courtesy demands you respect and honour whoever you’re sent to. Don’t be intoxicated by power, authority or position because it might be of no use when you’re sent.
The Captain of fifty relied on the king’s instructions without applying wisdom. He went to the Prophet of God, and delivered the King’s message without wisdom, and this led to his distruction and his fifty soldiers. No matter the level and position of your master, treat everyone with wisdom. Don’t be intoxicated or manipulated by power. Always know that power are in levels and others can be above the power you depend on. The wisdom you apply, regardless of the power backing you up, determine the success of your assignment in life. Be wise with every assignment given to you.
Good day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitful Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

MEMORY VERSE:

I welcome you to this week devotional with the topic, “Elijah And The Three Captains.” There are lessons God will want us learn and walk with in order to live a fulfilled life.
Today, our topic says, “Dont Bring Others Down”, don’t work towards destroying others or dethroning anyone for any reason, because everyone is placed by God and only Him can enthrone and dethrone, not you. No matter the offense of someone against you, don’t work towards dethroning them because;
(I) You don’t know his relationship with God,
(II). You didn’t place them in that position.
The King of Samaria knew Prophet Elijah that He’s a man of God and he was trying to bring him down from his rightful position. He sent a captain and his fifty to Prophet Elijah but, He was placed there by God and God responded to his call. That person in your office, your boss or your subordinates, stop working their transfer or sack. Stop fighting other’s marriage when they are not troubling your marriage. When God position a man or woman, He won’t give you the power to bring him/her down. Don’t allow your superiors to destroy your life by manipulating you against others. Don’t attempt bringing others down. Let’s meet tomorrow for the next lesson.
Good day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Friday, 3rd June 2023.

Topic: PRAYER WEEK 7:
Make Me A Sign and A Wonder

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Thessalonians 5:17.
“17. Pray without ceasing.”

BIBLE READING:
Isaiah 8:18.
“18. Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.”
As christians, we are declared the light of the world, we are the priest of God, a Holy nation, a representative of Jesus, so therefore, we are called to be a sign and a wonder as Jesus was and is. We are to reflect what Jesus was in the world.
The scripture says in, Psalms 34:5, “They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.”
We are not to be ridiculed or mocked in any area of our lives but a sign and a  wonder, a solution in any field of works, both spiritual and physical. Our children are to shine and rule wherever they are, from today on, I see you shining and making wave in all areas of life in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
We shall be declaring it as Prophet Isaiah said, I am a sign and a wonder in my family, ministry, , home, work place and in all ramification from today on, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. I have nothing to do with reproach, mockery, shame and lack, but I begin to rule and reign as King and Queen according to the world of the Lord. I begin to walk in this might from today on because I looked up to Jesus, so be it in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Good day and God Bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 22, Day 6:
Friday, 2nd June 2023.

Topic: PRAYER WEEK 6:
Exempted From Negativity

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Thessalonians 5:17.
“17. Pray without ceasing.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 8:22-23.
“22. And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.
23. And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.”
When the Lord stands with you, there’s always a clear difference between you and others. When the Lord is pleased with you, exemption from negativity is your portion, this new month, we shall be exempted from every ungodly activities around us in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
The children of Israel were in Egypt when the plague struck the Egyptians but they were exempted. God so much cares for those who put their trust in Him, although it was as a result of their father’s faithfulness to Him, He still cares for their generation.
Exodus 10:22-23.
“22. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:
23. They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.”
Swarms and darkness was ravaging the land of Egypt, Goshen was in Egypt but no evil got to their side. Death of first born reigned in the land but Goshen was excluded from all the evil, no matter the occurrences this year and beyond, we will remain under His coverage in Jesus Mighty Name, amen.
Father, help me remain in Goshen no matter the evil reports and occurrences in the nation, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Good day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 7:1.
“1. Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.”

No matter what the situations around you holds, you will have a head way this month. In famine, we will have abundance and overflow because, God will be our source from now on.
Our Bible reading, referred us to the instance when famine was ravaging the land of Israel, and the Prophet Elisha declared surplus in Famine, that is what the Lord is about to do for us this month, only if we will believe his word and pray concerning it. If you will make God the focus and not the nation or the leaders, you will eat the fruit of the land.
Let’s declare and say, Father, in the name of Jesus, Your are the supplier of Air, Water, Sun, Peace and all resource in the world, No matter the famine in this nation and around the whole world, I shall enjoy surplus for I trust in you as my sufficient God, in Jesus Mighty, Amen.
