Week 26, Day 6:
Friday, 30th June 2023.

Topic: TAKE THE RISK 6:
Taking Risk Makes You A Blessing

MEMORY VERSE:
Deuteronomy 2:2-3.
“2. And the LORD spake unto me, saying,
3. Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 7:9.
“9. Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.
Risk taking and the result therein isn’t meant for personal gain, Yes, it’s for the good of all. Not for self consumption, but to affect lives around us positively. We’ve got to know that, every risk is a door opener for a better life, when the door is open, allow others to have access in. We don’t become great to suppress others, we become great to make others great.
The four lepers enjoyed themselves and had in abundance, then they said to one another,
“We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.”
Meaning, we can’t enjoy all these alone, it’s even dangerous. We need to let others benefit from it. We need to be a blessing to the city even if we are forbidden from entering the city. Famine in the city and surplus here and we in between them without linking them isn’t right, let’s reach out to the king. They broke the good news to the city and everyone was relived of famine. That is how it should be, the positive result of your risk should help people out of their difficulties. Don’t hold it all to yourself, spread it over for there’s danger when you withhold it to yourself alone.
Good Day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 26, Day 5:
Thursday, 29th June 2023.

Topic: TAKE THE RISK 5:
Better Things Behind The Risk.

MEMORY VERSE:
Deuteronomy 2:2-3.
“2. And the LORD spake unto me, saying,
3. Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 7:6.
“6. For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.”
Most times when we don’t take the Risk, we miss what God has in plan for us. When Apostle Paul said,
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.
We have our part to take (which may require us to take some level of risk) in activating what eyes have not seen, what ears have not heard nor the heart of men conceived, . That is why, anytime we act there’s always a change. According to the first law of Motion which says, “An object remains at rest until a force is applied” that force is the risk we take. Risk may be seen as a negative step because of the invisibility behind it, but that’s the door that unlocks greatness.
After taken the risk, they saw what God has made available for them for free. May I let you know that, what’s behind that risk you’re postponing is more wonderful than the fear of unseen. God has prepared better things for us that without we taking the risk, it won’t be possible. Take the risk to enjoy God’s provision.
Good Day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Wednesday, 28th June 2023.

Topic: TAKE THE RISK 4:
It’s Time To Move, God is Ahead.

MEMORY VERSE:
Deuteronomy 2:2-3.
“2. And the LORD spake unto me, saying,
3. Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 7:5.
“5. And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.
Today, we shall be discussing about “It’s Time To Move”. When God is involved, it’s time to take the Risk, Risk it all. What is worth doing, is worth doing well. Begin to take the step as you watch ahead. It doesn’t matter what you’ve been told about your decision, as long as you’ve made-up your mind and God knows about it, you are good to go.
The four lepers took the risk, not one of them first but four of them all at once. Until you take the risk you wouldn’t know how easy it will be. When you take the step in Faith, you land in reality. When they got to the camp of the enemy where their needs are, lo and behold, no one to harass them. The food was all available and well cooked, waiting for them to eat. That courage to walk in that Risk is all you need. I’m not talking about risk against someone or taken what’s not yours, but taking risk to change your position, to move forward and become a different person in life. To enjoy anything good in life, risk is involve because when you refuse to take risk, you’re also risking your destiny. What are those risk you are afraid of? What’s that dream you’ve been pending for fear of unknown? It’s time to step out in faith, boldness and courage to change your life for good. Take the risk and enjoy the dividend.
Good Day and God Bless you.

Commit It To The Lord

MEMORY VERSE:
Deuteronomy 2:2-3.
“2. And the LORD spake unto me, saying,
3. Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.”

BIBLE READING:
Proverbs 3:5-7.
“5. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
We started by saying, sometimes, God want us to use our brain of reasoning. He might not really speak to us or send any Vision. In such case, we need to present our Risk to God, to let Him know what we are about to do. King Solomon said, we should trust in the Lord with all our heart and not to depend on our own understanding. Mind you, he wasn’t saying we shouldn’t use our understanding, but not to wholly relay on it and that is why we need to present it to God. We need to seek for His leading, to order our steps and enlighten us on what to meet ahead. When we involve Him, He will direct us throughout the journey. He will guard us from every potholes along our way. Make your plans known to Him let Him lead the way before going on the journey.
Good Day and God Bless you.

Week 26, Day 2:

Topic: TAKE THE RISK 2: Speak With Like Minds About Your Risk.

MEMORY VERSE:
Deuteronomy 2:2-3.
“2. And the LORD spake unto me, saying,
3. Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 7:4
4 “We will starve if we stay here, but with the famine in the city, we will starve if we go back there. So we might as well go out and surrender to the Aramean army. If they let us live, so much the better. But if they kill us, we would have died anyway.”
The second point I want us to See from the lepers is the fact that, they all agreed to take the risk. Taking a risk involve who you are moving with, who you reveal your intentions to. Many people are not worth it. Taking risk is what separates you from those who can’t go the extra mile. When you reveal your risk to discouraged people, failures or those who are not positive minded, nothing good will come from that than to give you reasons why it won’t be possible or make you see it as the end of the road.
When your risk is your personal decision it’s always better, like our father Abraham who went a journey to sacrifice Isaac without his wife’s knowledge. No one was able to talk him out of the risk. Who you involve when taking risk is very important to what happens with your decision. So therefore, when you’ve listed the option about your risk, also know who to discuss it with because if they are like minded like yours then you are good to go but if they lack such mind, face the risk as long as you are tired of your present position. Speak with the right people about your risk or face your risk alone.
Good Day and God Bless you.

MEMORY VERSE:
Deuteronomy 2:2-3.
“2. And the LORD spake unto me, saying,
3. Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 7:3-5.
“3. And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?
4. If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.
5. And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.
Welcome to the last week of the month of June, it shall be a week of harvest gathering in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
This week, our focus will be “TAKE THE RISK”, yes, risking it all. Most times, because of fear, reproach or mockery we are resisted to make a move, to leap for new height but I’m here this week to let you know, that’s all you need. Some times God doesn’t speak to us, He allows us to reason things out, to make use of our brain, (although not always). Risk can simply be said as, “Let’s try it if it will work since staying in a place doesn’t work”.
The four lepers knew they were Restricted from the city, where they were, they lack their needs. The third option was the camp of the enemy. They concluded, “Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alife, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.” The first lesson from this story is, “List out all your options before taking the risk.” They listed all their option, and chose where their needs are. In the town no food, where they reside, no food, in the camp of the enemies, there is food, what is their need? “Food for survival.” Weigh your options and take the risk. Let’s continue tomorrow.
Good Day and God Bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 25, Day 7:
Saturday, 24th June 2023.

Topic: WHAT THE BELIEVERS LACKS 7: Father, Unite Us As Believers.

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 10:12
“12. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

BIBLE READING:
Acts 2:44.
“44. And all that believed were together, and had all things common.”
Today, being the last day on this topic, I do like us to pray for “Togetherness In Faith.” We have been scattered and divided. We’ve been doctrined to segregate from some Christian faith. We have only believed in the denomination we belong and seeing others as rival and other ministers as competitors. Unity is lacking between believers and so called ministers of God. Our look, dressing, position has separated us and create a ditch in between believers which can’t be filled up, it’s time we come together as one.
Our goal is to saved the lost souls not to fight the so called saved soul. We are now church oriented and not soul oriented. We don’t mind moving other active members from their churches to ours. We hardly go around to seek for the lost soul. We need to remember our joint goal, which is depopulating hell for God’s kingdom. We don’t need to fight for member, we need to fight for lost soul and we need to be together to achieve this. If the disciples ran the race the way we are doing today, it wouldn’t have been this long.
Father, Help us live for the purpose you have called us, grant us unity in the Spirit in order to win lost souls, in Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed, Amen. Togetherness is what wins a soul for God.
Good Day and God Bless you.

Week 25, Day 6:
Friday, 23rd June 2023.

Topic: WHAT THE BELIEVERS LACKS 6: Links Between Believers and Ministers of God

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 10:12
“12. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

BIBLE READING:
Acts 2:43.
“23. And fear came upon every soul: AND MANY WONDERS AND SIGNS WERE DONE BY THE APOSTLES.”
When Jesus came to the earth, he lived for thirty years (short right?). When His time came, He appointed the Apostles in different groups. There were the seventy-two, there were the twelve, the three and the beloved. Why all these categories? They are meant to reach the lost soul at different levels. Jesus’ ministry wouldn’t have been possible if the apostles left Him to do it alone or if Jesus, said, “I’m the son of God, I can do it all alone”. No, He needed the disciples. Likewise, every minister need co-workers before any signs and wonders can be achieve. When we create a gap between ourselves and the Ministers in the name of “I’m not the called, He is the minister” we are only making the work difficult for them. When a minister thinks He can achieve it alone, He’s only relegating himself to what He’s strenght can do.
The Apostles learnt this from Jesus’ ministry and implemented it. They worked together with the believers in all levels. They carried one another along and with this, signs and wonders was the result. Yes you are not called but you’re to serve. Yes you are the called but you can’t achieve it all alone. You need others to fulfill God’s assignment over your life. It’s time to work together, no segregation or hierarchy, we are all running after the same goal, to win a soul.
Good Day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Topic: WHAT THE BELIEVERS LACKS 5: Our Reverence Win Souls.

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 10:12
“12. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

BIBLE READING:
Acts 2:43.
“23. AND FEAR CAME UPON EVERY SOUL: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.”
We have stipulated four points lacking in believers which limits us from having the apostles experience today. The truth is this, when the souls we’re meant to win sees division between us they won’t Reverence the God we preach. When we are not strong in unity, prayer and fellowship there’s no how we can penetrate souls for Christ, our way of life and disunity will rival our messages. Remember this, our lives reflects what happens in our fellowship with other believers. What we speak and do reflects the outcome of our gathering. Many believers today takes issue in our churches to unsaved soul out there (that needs our saviour) to Judge us.
The Acts of the disciples then hasten the lost soul to long for God, they fear the God of the believers without preaching to them, this gave them the reason to accept the Saviour they preached. How have we damaged the God we preached before the souls who need Him? We believers, do we even reverence the God we Serve before the souls we are preaching to? Our way of life is what introduces God to lost souls. We save souls directly and indirectly with the way we live. Is our way of life reflecting the fear of God to others, as ministers, workers member and believers generally? Let your life reflect the fear of God to every souls.
Good Day and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Topic: WHAT THE BELIEVERS LACKS 4: Devoted In Prayer

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 10:12
“12. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

BIBLE READING:
Acts 2:42
42 All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the lord’s supper), and TO PRAYER.
The fourth virtue is Praying Together, fervent in prayer, continuous and consistent prayer life. When we devote ourselves to teaching, regular fellowship and sharing with other believers, to pray will be more easier, because iron sharpens iron. The more we are together the more we influence ourselves in prayer. The prayer life of believers then was consistent and effective because they prayed together with the Apostles. When Apostle Peter was locked up in prison by Herod, the scripture says, “… but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” Acts 12:5. This is the influence of the apostles upon the believers, they were praying without ceasing.
How prayerful are you? Remember, not until we gather together that we can pray. You don’t need to pray for hours before prayers is done. Little prayer while walking, sitting, laying down, are ways to grow in prayer. You don’t need to close your eye always, short prayers within and without, even when driving. Prayer is just communicating with God regularly. Be effective in your prayer life. Praying together as believers aids our journey as Christians.
Good Day and God Bless you.
