Week 19, Day 6:
Friday, 12th May, 2023.

Topic: God’s Grace 6: How To Attract Grace 2: Through Humility

MEMORY VERSE:
James 4:6.
“6. But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
Grace of God is available for all but not all can receive or access it. God’s Grace is in abundance daily, despite that, not all Christians will benefit from it because there are protocols to enjoying it. Grace is meant for the humble, the lowly in heart, those who sees everything as nothing to puff up about, only such can attract God’s Grace. God is ready to lift men by Grace but not those who has lifted themselves up already.
God loved Nebuchadnezzar, called him His deputy, but when pride steps in, God brought him lower than his subjects, a King became an animal for seven years. Likewise, when pride runs in one’s vein, Grace will be very far from such, because God only graced the humble not the proud. To enjoy God’s Grace, we need to be humble, see ourselves as nobody, our wealth, position, experience, expertise and accolades need not to set us higher above God himself. Be humble to attract God’s Grace in your life.
Good day And God Bless you

Week 19, Day 5:
Thursday, 11th May, 2023.

Topic: God’s Grace 5: How To Attract Grace 1: In His Presence.

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 15:10.
“10. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”

BIBLE READING:
Hebrews 4:16.
“16. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
The Grace of God can only be contacted at the throne of Grace. The throne of Grace is the source of His Grace. When you locate your throne of Grace you locate your grace. The throne of Grace is the presence of the Lord. Now, the presence of the Lord is where is conducive for God to flow, a place where He is not hindered from functioning fully. Yes, the first throne of God is the sanctuary, the House of God, which also can be called, Mount Zion. Appearing before God is a prerequisite for His Grace. Also, when your heart is pure and holy, void of negativity, it can also serve as the throne of Grace. Your home, your place of work, environment, where hindrances to the presence of God are limited can serve as your throne of Grace. That is why we see the prisoner enjoying grace, the slave and heartless people enjoying Grace. The presence of God is the first prerequisite for God’s Grace. Does your attitude, behavior and location enhances the presence of God? His presence determines the release of His Grace.
Good day And God Bless you

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 15:10.
“10. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”

BIBLE READING:
Esther 2:17
“17. And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
Grace has many things it does in one’s life. When the grace of God is upon you, you will find love even in hatred. Grace attract love and favour. A graceful man/woman is a loved man/woman. It was Grace that made Jonathan loved David like a woman loved a man. Grace made Him sacrifice the throne to David despite his father’s threat. It was Grace that made Jesus loves us to the point of death, without Grace love will be scarce may we enjoy Grace from above in Jesus Mighty Name.
Esther was a slave without biological father or mother. But Grace made her the favorite of the king. Grace made the king loved her above all other virgins, not because others were not virgin, nor because of beauty but The Grace of God. Grace is the reason for the expression of love, when it speaks, experience or diligence doesn’t count. When Grace speaks the lowest will be the highest and loved. Esther sitting on Vashti seat is a product of Grace enjoyed through love. This month of may, that grace for love will speak for us all in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Good day And God Bless you

Topic: God’s Grace 3: What Grace Does 2? Grace Puts One Incharge

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 15:10.
“10. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 39:3-4.
“3. And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.
4. And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.
The Grace of God can’t be suppressed in the life of the carrier. When the Grace of God is active in a man, God puts him incharge anywhere He is. It doesn’t matter If He or She is qualified, experienced or learned, a slave or a son, young or old, Grace of God puts such person incharge.
Am very sure, Joseph wasn’t the only slave in Potiphar’s house but the only foreigner slave. Potiphar noticed what happened since Joseph arrived his home, He saw him carrying a different thing above everyone. He decided to put him incharge of all he has, that’s Grace at work. When the Grace of God reside upon you, you get undeserved promotion, undeserved lifting even in the prison. Most times our qualifications or experience doesn’t count but God’s Grace. A man like former Nigeria President, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was a man Grace functioned in. From the level of a leacturer, without campaigning or contesting, became a deputy Governor, a Governor, a Deputy President and rose to become a president of a Nation, that is God’s Grace at work. May the Grace of God begin to manifest in our lives from today on in Jesus Mighty Name. Ask God for Grace that set one above in all areas of life and you will enjoy easiness in life.
Good day And God Bless you

Topic: God’s Grace 2: What Grace Does 1? It Exempts From Evil.

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 15:10.
“10. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 6:6-8.
“6. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.”
We shall be studying what Grace does in the life of Men. In the beginning, God made the Heaven and the Earth, created man and woman, made every thing available for them in order to make Him the focus, but men soon derailed from God. Turned their heart to serve object in place of God. These made God angry and decided to destroy everything He created. But there was a man who found the Grace of God in the world then, He’s name was Noah, Grace exempted him from the world’s destruction. Among millions of souls then, Grace singled him out to ease the work of creation the second time. The scripture says, and Noah found Grace in the eyes of God.
Have you ever asked yourself why are you not the one dead? That is grace speaking. Why are you not the kidnapped? It’s because of Grace. Grace is the reason you escaped that accident. May the Grace of God never seized from our lives in Jesus might name, Amen. Thank God for the Grace that have singled you out from all evil.
Good Day And God Bless you.

Week 19, Day 1:
Sunday, 7th May, 2023.

Topic: God’s Grace 1: What Is Grace?

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 15:10.
“10. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”

BIBLE READING:
Titus 2:11-12
“11. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;”
What Is The Grace of God? Grace is an unqualified privilege given to unfit person by God. It’s the free and unmerited favour of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and bestowal of blessings. The only reason for us being close to God is Grace. The greatest grace is the salvation of men according to Romans 5:8, which says,
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” The release of Jesus Christ to save us from the world of sin is the Highest Grace we can talk of.
Now, the Grace of God is in different forms, that’s why the scripture said in John 1:16, saying,
“16 From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.” We all enjoy God’s Grace in different area so, no one is without Grace. Who you are today can’t be separated from God’s Grace over your life. Get to know this, you may admire the Grace of God over someone but you also have some level of Grace of God over your life because we all need Grace in different areas of our lives, and above all, God’s Grace over us is to bring Glory to God. May you be able to identify the Grace of God over your life and appreciate them in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Good Day And God Bless you.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel
Week 18, Day 7:
Saturday, 6th May, 2023.

Topic: HANDLING DEPRESSION 7: Keep Serving God

MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 24:10.
“10. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

BIBLE READING:
Luke 1:8-9.
“8. And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest’s office before God in the order of his course,
9. According to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.”
One of the reasons why the devil brings depression, it’s for you to loose focus of God and to abandon His service. He gives you reason to turn your back against God, and when you turn against Him who can save you from depression? Nobody, and that’s why many end up commiting suicide, that shall not be your portion in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

When you’re not serving God you are prepared to serve the devil. When you take your gaze away from serving God Almighty, the devil will give you reasons to give up on yourself, but if you will keep serving God, one day, He will visit your depressed soul and attend to your situations beyond your expectations.
Zacharias was childless till old age but He kept serving God not minding the Shame and depression of childlessness. He made it his focus to keep doing his best for God. He served Him till the day God visited him. If you will overcome depression make sure you don’t run away from serving God. To serve God is to be relevant in His kingdom, to be a vessel for God to reach out to others but to seek God is to build a personal relationship with God. No matter your relationship with God, you’re meant to serve Him by affecting other lives. Serve God in His vineyard and depression will find no resting place within you.
Good Day And God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 18, Day 6:
Friday, 5th May, 2023.

Topic: HANDLING DEPRESSION 6: Seek For God.

MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 24:10.
“10. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

BIBLE READING:
Isaiah 55:6
“Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:”
One thing depression should help us do is to seek God, search for God and run to Him. Depression is not to take us away from God but to push us toward Him. It should makes us crave for Him, for His personality and not send us away from Him. It should help us seek for His will concerning our lives because God has never intended us to be depressed, No, He’s intention for us has always being good so we need to seek His face to hear Him speak to us. Prophet Isaiah said, we should seek Him while He may be found and call upon Him while He is near us.
The widow of the sons of the Prophet seek the face of The Lord by going to Prophet Elisha to report her depressed situation as a result of her late husband’s debt. Who are you seeking during your depressed period? Is it man or God, senator or maker of Men? Who do you seek after? It’s time to turn to the right place and the right God. Seek for Him while He may Be found.
HOW DO YOU SEEK GOD?
Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
By forsaking your wrong ways and turn to God. To stop seeking for man’s help and ask for God’s help. Stop seeking for revenge and forgive. Stop your evil ways and turn to righteousness, then you will find Him where He is.
Good Day And God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 18, Day 5:
Thursday, 4th May, 2023.

Topic: HANDLING DEPRESSION 5: Don’t Be Idle

MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 24:10.
“10. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

BIBLE READING:
Colossians 3:23.
“23. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”
A wonderful morning to us all. As we continue with our study today, we shall be focusing on “Don’t Be Idle” as another solution to Depression. One of the ways to suppress depression is by being active, being positively occupied with a responsibility. When You have nothing doing your heart will find something to think about which will always bring about depression. An empty mind is a settled heart for the devil to rule, but when you occupy yourself, with all your heart, little attention won’t be available for depression. As the saying goes, an idle hand is a workshop for the devil. When you have nothing to think ahead of, to put your mind to, depression will take over your heart.
Apostle Paul speaking to the Colossians, especially, those who serve, which everyone of us are meant to be part of, to find something to do and do it diligently with all their heart. When your hand is actively doing a business or working, your mind will always be focused to see that you succeed in that area. Stop being idle. Stop sitting without doing positive things to divert your focused mind. Do that business, work, marriage and ministry with all your heart and forget all the losses, then negative memory and depression will be a thing of past. Engage your hand and mind positively with good work. Don’t be idle.
Good Day And God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 18, Day 4:

Topic: HANDLING DEPRESSION 4: Casting Down Imagination

MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 24:10.
“10. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

BIBLE READING:
2 Corinthians 10:4-5
“4. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
Depression can be traced to thoughts about some negative experiences or occurrences which becomes inseparable. When this thought rules one’s life, without controlling it depression will lead to suicide. Negative thought is the root of depression, when you handle it, you’ve successfully subdued depression.
Apostle Paul said, we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Depression is not a product of flesh and blood, it may be traced to a person but, depression is not a person. It’s a thought you need to fight. It needs to be cast down, all imaginations that leads to depression, crying, sobbing needs to be cast out of your thought pipe. No matter the present help you may be enjoying, you need to fight the thought, I pray today, whoever may be going through depression, that spirit is cast out in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Work against that thought and depression will be forgotten in your life.
Good Day And God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
