Topic: CHRIST TEACHING 5: Are We Representing Him?

MEMORY VERSE
John 8:32.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

BIBLE READING:
Luke 12:8-9.
“8. Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
9. But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
Today’s lesson calls for who we confess everywhere we are. To confess Jesus, as Lord and Saviour, doesn’t end with what we say or when we’re carrying our Bible, No, it goes beyond that. We confess Jesus with our attitude everywhere we are, in our place of work, home, marriages, and environments. The words of our mouths and our action either confesses or deny Jesus. How we handle issues around us, who we flock with, our thoughts, all of these shows what we stands for.
Jesus told Peter, “before the cock crow you shall deny me three times” although, Peter refuted it but he later denied Jesus three times, why? Because he faced oppositions that may lead to his death. Likewise, when we are faced with oppositions do we still confess Jesus as Lord and Saviour? When we face situations with money, properties and self denier, do we still confess or deny Him? Jesus said, He will be a witness to whoever confess Him but the angels and God will deny whoever deny Him. Are we confessing or denying Him? Food for thought today.
Good day and God bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Topic: CHRIST TEACHING 4: We Are Not Forgotten

MEMORY VERSE
John 8:32.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

BIBLE READING:
Luke 12:6-7.
“6. Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
7. But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
While Christ was teaching His disciples, He emphasized on how special we are to God. He made it known that, no matter what we go through, God hasn’t forgotten us. He compared us to the sparrows, the birds, in the sky who is less important and how God never forgets them. He made it known how important we are to Him, that the hair of our head are known to God. God cares for us regardless of what we face and go through, we are not forgotten.
This is his word to us, we should Fear not whatever the situations are because He is with us, right beside us and will never leave us alone. If He watches over the birds, He can’t let go off us for a moment. God is with us always in all situations and the assurance is we being alive every day. This is another lesson Jesus taught His disciples and we are linked with the same covenant.
Good day and God bless you.

MEMORY VERSE
John 8:32.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

BIBLE READING:
Luke 12:4-5.
“4. And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.”
Yesterday, we studied about keeping Secret away from our loved ones, and we said, it will surely be exposed if we will not expose it ourself. Today, our topic have a link with what Jesus exposed to us yesterday. One of the reason why we fear Men more than God Is keeping secrets. Jesus knew why He was telling the disciple not to keep secret because, keeping Secret makes you fear Men. When the fear of God lives in you, you will do that which pleases God not men. The fear of God in us stops us from living a secretive life. The reason for the fear of men is the lack of Fear of God.
Jesus said, don’t fear those who can kill the body and not the soul. When you fear those who can kill your body, it simply means, you’ve rated men above God.
The fear of God will guild you into God’s purpose for your life while the fear of men will take you out of God’s purpose for your life. The fear of God will help you put your body under control. Don’t be afraid of what men will do but how God will feel concerning that act of yours. When you have the fear of God, you will not indulge in secrecy. Remember, the fear of the Lord is the begining of wisdom. So therefore, Fear God above all Men.
Good day and God bless you.

Topic: CHRIST TEACHING 2: Keeping Secret

MEMORY VERSE
John 8:32.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

BIBLE READING:
Luke 12:2-3.
2. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
3. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
The second lesson of Jesus Christ is about Keeping Secrets, hiding the truth about a matter, Jesus said, all will be expose. Corrupt act in place of work, going into rituals or being part of an occultic group, having extramarital affairs, it will be expose sooner or later, why? Because nothing is hidden before God. Keeping secrets brings fear, and makes one live a life of suspicious. Keeping Secret makes you live in lies all the days of your life. The more secret you keep the more restless you are.
Ecclesiastes 12:14.
“For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Let me share a little story with us.
There was a gateman, working in a poultry. One faithful day, he stole one of the bird and was caught by the supervisor. Since then, the supervisor gets half of the gate man’s
salary just to cover up the secret. Many months later, the gate man went to the manager to confess his act of stealing and the manager forgive him. Then came the supervisor for half of the salary as usual but the gateman was already free from keeping Secret, and from then on, he became a free man from past secrets while the supervisor was forced to return all the gate man’s half salary.
If you don’t confess the secret, it will take you captive for life and still expose you. Better to reveal the secret, be punished and be a free man forever. Watch your life, what secret do you need to expose and be free from?
Good day and God bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Topic: CHRIST TEACHING 1: Avoid Hypocrisy – Negative Influence.

MEMORY VERSE
John 8:32.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

BIBLE READING:
Luke 12:1
1 Meanwhile, the crowds grew until thousands were milling about and stepping on each other. Jesus turned first to his disciples and warned them, “Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees—their hypocrisy.
This week, we will be digging out some lessons from Jesus teachings in the Book of Luke 12. Many truth hidden in this teaching that we all need to know.
The first lesson today, Jesus said to His disciples, “Beware of the yeast of the pharisees, their Hypocrisy.” What is this yeast? Jesus was talking about the attitude and way of life of the Pharisees. Remember what He said in,
Matthew 6:5,
“5. And when thou prayest, THOU SHALT NOT BE AS THE HYPOCRITES ARE: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
He was teaching His disciples to beware of eye services of the Pharisees, negative influence, secrecy, teaching what they can’t replicate and putting loads on their followers which they can’t lift. Today, we have Christians everywhere, professing, Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, but still filled with hypocrisy. Eye services filled every, professing what they are not. This was what Jesus was teaching His disciples that, in our mist, we should avoid hypocrisy, we should be what we teach and do what we say. The Pharisees only crave for what to gain, undeserved honour and respect, and become a hindrance to people seeking after God. Do what your hear and teach others to do the same. Stop pretending to be who you are not.
Good day and God bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Topic: HE IS ALIVE 7: Far Above Principality

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 28:6.
“26. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

BIBLE READING:
Ephesians 1:21-23.
“21. Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22. And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23. Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
The Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ places us above all power and principalities, in heaven and on earth. He make us rule over everything that ruled over us. In Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 – 28, God places us beyond everything he created, gave us Dominion to rule and be in-charge but this authority was lost when Adam and Eve disobeyed. This Is what Christ came to restore back to us. He did it and perfected it, so we are back to our rightful place in God, far and beyond principalities. Where Jesus is seated is where we are seated. His death and resurrection changes our position. We need to accept and walk in this mentality of our person in Christ, because He has done it and perfected it. We are above all powers and principalities.
Good day and God bless you.

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 28:6.
“26. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

BIBLE READING:
Ephesians 4:8.
“8. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, AND GAVE GIFTS UNTO MEN.”
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ascending to heaven released unto us gifts to function in our calling. He never left us empty while returning to His father, He gave men gifts.
Ephesians 4:11-12.
“11. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:”
Yes, He gave the Five fold ministry as we fondly call it. May I let you know that, you possess one of those gift Christ gave to us all. The five fold ministry is given to all believers to profit with. How do I mean? In the past, you were an unbelievable, then you weve saved. You are to reach out to others like you who are yet to accept Christ as Lord and Saviour, and bring them to Christ. We all need not to have a pulpit to be a pastor, an evangelist, teacher, prophet or an Apostle, the grace is upon us to reach out according to what we’ve been endowed to do. When Jesus sent out the seventy in Luke 10, they were not His apostles but His followers, and verses 19 said, he gave them power to trampled on all other powers. So, the great commission is for all believers not for some specific person. You have the gifts in you laying dormant and untapped. Function in your space to bring others to Christ, you don’t need a pulpit to do this, the grace is upon us all.
Good day and God bless you.

Topic: HE IS ALIVE 5: We Are Empowered

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 28:6.
“26. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

BIBLE READING:
Ephesians 4:8.
“8. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.”
The Death and Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour is the pivot of our walk with God. Without this sacrifice there wouldn’t have been any different from other religion. When Jesus resurrected, the scripture made it known that, He ascended up on High and led captivity captive, meaning, the hunter became the hunted and captived. He took hold of the tormentor of men, He put him under His control.
Back to when He was yet to be killed, he said to the seventy disciples,
“19. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19”
We are empowered to liberate the captives, and He practicalized it while on earth and during His death. He defeated the sting of Death and the grave, he captured them and made them his slave. That is what Christ has done for us, every captivity around our lives has become His captive and we are free when we have Jesus as our saviour. If you believe in Him, you have power to become the Son of God to set loose everyone captured around our life. His death set us free from captivity, Hallelujah.
Good day and God bless you.

Matthew 28:6.
“26. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

BIBLE READING:
Isaiah 53:5
“5. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; AND WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.
The Suffering, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ brought us healing, Hallelujah! Before being nailed to the cross, He perfected our healing, took all our pains, sickness and sorrows away while been nailed to the cross. Little did the devil knew that, the victory was perfected physically before Jesus was nailed to the cross. While He was been beating with different stripes, He was rejoicing within, “Yes, the Healing of the saint is perfected” but the devil thought he was winning not knowing he was loosen the fight. This same principle is the reasons why the devil lost all battles. While God was using him to build His sons, the devil thought he was in-charge not until he lost the battle.
Jesus perfected our healing long before the cross and the tomb, because the stripes took away our sicknesses. I don’t know where you are this morning and what you’re faced with, in your health, marriage, business, over your spouse or children, but am confidently telling you, that sickness, sorrows, pain has been paid for, the debt has been cancelled on your behalf in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. This knowledge is all you need to get back to your feet. By the stripes of Jesus, today your healing is perfected.
Jeremiah 17:14 says, “Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.”
Declare and Receive your healing today in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Good day and God bless you.

Topic: HE IS ALIVE 3: Our Peace

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 28:6.
“26. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

BIBLE READING:
Isaiah 53:5.
“5. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: THE CHASTISEMENT OF OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM;…”
When Prophet Isaiah was prophesying about the sufferings of Jesus Christ years before his coming, He made it known to us what our saviour will bring to us. Yes, He came to take our sins away, took our place to set us free. But much more than that, Christ went through all the crucifixion for us to enjoy Peace. The scripture says, THE CHASTISEMENT OF OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM;…” he was chastised for us to enjoy peace, Hallelujah.
When Jesus was speaking before he departed this world, He said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. – John 14:27”
The Easter we celebrate is a remembrance of the Peace Jesus gave to us. This peace is the reason why our heart is not to be troubled. When you experience this Peace nothing touches your heart, you move around without fear of circumstances. This is part of what Jesus brought to us, Peace of Mind. He gave to you and I without measure. Do you experience this Peace? If not, turn to Him today to ask for Peace of Mind, as long as you are a genuine son of God He will give it to you. Are you born Again? If you surrender your life to Him today, the peace will be available. Give Him a chance.
Good day and God bless you.
