Sunday, 30th April, 2023.

Topic: HANDLING DEPRESSION 1: Why Down Casted?

MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 24:10.
“10. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 43:5
“5. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.”
This week, we shall be focusing on How To Handle Depression. The first way to handle depression is by identifying the source of depression. What is casting down your mind, troubling your heart? Is it what men said to you? Attitude of men towards you? Lost of loved ones or lost of job or properties? You need to identify the cause of depression before you know how to handle it. When the source of depression can’t be identify, solution can’t be gotten.
When you’re depressed by what you don’t have or what people say about you, all you need do is to remember what God said about you, He’s promises never fails. When depression is as a result of what you’ve lost, can it be gotten back? If yes, work on getting it back, if not, forget it and move on, because, God will never take away from you what you’ll need for surviver in life. Is it as a result of a certain need in your life? Go to God and make it know to Him, He will never deny you what He has already planned to give to you. Identifying the source of depression is the first step to handling depression, without this, solution will be difficult. Can you identify what is casting your soul down? Compare it with what God has said concerning you.
Good Day And God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 17, Day 7:
Saturday, 29th April, 2023.

Topic: IS IT GOOD FOR GOD 7?: Are You Qualified Before Him?

MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 14:12.
“12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

BIBLE READING:
Romans 12:1
“1. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Today, we shall be studying the person presenting the offering before God. This is an important aspect of our offering. The scripture said concerning Cain,
“But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. Genesis 4:5”
Cain was rejected and his offering was also rejected. If you as a person is not accepted before God your offering can’t be accepted. So, your personality comes before your offering.
Paul said, “ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” How do you live your life out of Church? How did you get the seed of your offering, by doping others, cheating or robbery? When your way is not pleasing with the Lord, your offering can’t be accepted by God. You live your home angry, with negative words with your spouse, neighbor, or even siblings and you want God to accept your offering? That was why Jesus said, in Matthew chapter 5,
“23. Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24. Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
When your person is faulty before God, your offering is not good for God. Are you qualified to give Him a good offering?
Good Day And God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Topic: IS IT GOOD FOR GOD 6?: Willingly Offering

MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 14:12.
“12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 25:1-2.
“1. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2. Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.”
Giving is meant to be releasing what one has Willingly, without being compel to do so. It’s not a giving we are cajoled or persuaded to do. Giving is a request by God to all human, not just christians, in other to affect lives and Ministers positively. Giving isn’t a business of “Give me I Give you back” but a game of Meeting needs in order to have our needs divinely met some day.
God commanded the Israelites to bring Him an offering, willingly and from their heart, not being forced. When we give God our offerings without willingness of heart, grumbling or forcefully, they aren’t acceptable to Him, they aren’t good enough for Him. If there’s anything God desire, it’s what you release to Him happily and wholeheartedly. What you give without complaining. Are your seeds good enough to be presented to God? Those pledges, are they really good enough for Him? Let your offerings and seed be given willingly and wholeheartedly.
Good Day And God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 17, Day 5:

Topic: IS IT GOOD FOR GOD 5?: Let Go Of It.

MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 14:12.
“12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 15:9-11.
“9.And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
10. And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.
11. And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.”
Today’s lesson may seems somehow. When we give God our offerings, it’s not part of our duty to monitor what the offerings are used for because we are not assigned to monitor it, Yes. Many want to know what the tithes, offerings, Seed of faith or Pledges are used for after giving, you are not assigned to do that. Ministers are not accountable to us, they are accountable to God. Many has put themselves against God in so doing. If we monitor and approach them with what is used for, God will Judge us and no one can escape God’s judgement. Give your offering and Let It Go.
God required sacrifices from Abraham, after giving it, He sat to watch the offering and even drove away the birds from eating it. Will God eat the sacrifice? Was Abraham watching to see how God will swallow the meal? Stop doing follow up on your offerings, “Let Go Off It”, it’s not your duty to see what it’s used for. Let God do that for you because it can speak against you and your offerings. Let your offering be good enough for God to accept it.
Good Day And God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Topic: IS IT GOOD FOR GOD 4?: Unfaithful Offering

MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 14:12.
“12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

BIBLE READING:
Acts 5:1-2.
1. But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
2. And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.”
We Christians, in the name of giving to God, do attract the anger of God upon ourselves. Our givings are not acceptable to God because of our attitude and actions before the offerings were released. Our God still remains Faithful and everything that has to do with Him must be done Faithfully.
Ananias and Sapphire were willing to give to God. They saw others selling their properties and giving the proceed to God, so they decided to do the same. They sold their property and intended to give to God, but made a mistake. God doesn’t require you to give all your resources but according to your ability. You are not to please men with your giving but God. They would have agreed to give God some percentage of the proceed instead of telling Apostle Peter that was all their proceed. Because they gave unfaithfully it led to their death. When you are giving to God be Faithful with your seeds, don’t do beyond your ability, don’t give to gain the praise of men or to please men, let your focus be to God, not according to what others are giving. It’s better not to give than to give and attract the wrath of God because of your seed. Be faithful in your giving.
Good Day And God Bless you.

Topic: IS IT GOOD FOR GOD 3?: Not The Size But The Heart

MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 14:12.
“12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

BIBLE READING:
Luke 21:1-4.
“1. And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
And he said, Of a truth I 3. say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4. For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.”
When we go to God with our offerings, seed of faith, pledges, and tithes, what do we have in mind? “I want to pay the highest”, “Pastor must see me as the highest tither”, or “God, this is all I have, accept it from me”. God Is not moved by the size of our offerings but the thought of our heart. It will surprise you to know that, some might not have an offering to give to God than to dance wholeheartedly and will be rewarded than those with #50,000 or $500. That is God for you, because he judges the thought of our heart not the offerings of our hands. I Have discovered that, some keep account of their tithes regularly in order to know how much they’ve paid, Smile. If God should keep the account of our sins, can our offerings and tithe cover it?
Jesus told His disciples, this woman, a widow, with two mites, cast the most of all, because,
1. She has little,
2. She was a widow,
3. She gave all she add,
4. With Joy,
These qualities determines a lot with what we give to God and others. May I ask you again, Your last offering, was it good enough for God? Can God feel the fragrance of it? Remember, not the size but the heart that gives it.
Good Day And God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Topic: IS IT GOOD FOR GOD 2?: Unclean Sacrifice.

MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 14:12.
“12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 15:8-9.
“8. And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
9. But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
Yesterday, we saw one of the reasons why Cain’s offering was rejected and Abel’s offering was accepted. Today, we shall be studying Saul’s sacrifice.
God gave instruction to Saul to destroy the whole city of Amalek, both human and animal. But he selected those that seems good to him and destroyed every other things. Getting back home, he and his men decided to sacrifice those animals to the Lord.
Most times, we present proceed gotten from disobedience to God. We cheat others, deny others their wages, proceeds from stealing, and present them to God as offering. We rob people of their hard earning and give to God as tithe, offering, prophetic seeds knowing fully well that, God is against those proceeds. They are unclean sacrifices. Saul presented offerings which God has declared forbidden and this cost him the throne. Which offering are you presenting to God, are they clean or unclean offering? Are they presentable to God? Are they Good offerings in the sight of God?
Good Day And God Bless you.

Week 1, Day 7:
Sunday, 23rd April, 2023.

Topic: IS IT GOOD FOR GOD 1?: Firstling Offering.

MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 14:12.
“12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 4:3-5.
“3. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5. But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
This week, we shall be focusing on what we offer to God, are they Good For God? Are they acceptable in His sight? Our anchor scripture says, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” There are seeds that seems good, pleasant and acceptable to man, but are forbidden to God. There are things that seems best to us but are detestable to our Lord and Saviour.
Cain, the first son given birth to on earth, and his first younger brother, Abel, presented their offering to God. We all know the story very well. Abel’s offering was accepted but that of Cain was rejected  why? The scripture says, “Cain brought of the Fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.” That means, he took any offering, randomly, to offer to God and not the best, but the scripture said, “And Abel, he also brought of the Firstlings Of His Flock and of the fat thereof…” Abel didn’t just give the best of his flocks but the “Firstlings” meaning, the First and best for God. We don’t just give God anyhow offering but the First Of the Best of our resources. We need to put God First in our sacrifice for our offering to be Good in the sight of God. How do you offer your offering? Do you give Him any how offering or the First Fruit of your income? Are we offering a Good Offering or just an Offering? God always want the Best not just any available offering.
Good Day And God Bless you.

Week 16, Day 7:
Saturday, 22nd April, 2023.

Topic: CHRIST TEACHING 7: Be Filled With God’s Word.

MEMORY VERSE
John 8:32.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

BIBLE READING:
Luke 12:11-12.
“11. And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
12. For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.”
Our topic today, Says, “Be Filled With God’s Word.” Jesus while speaking with His disciples, said in the times of triers, persecution, opposition and end time, when we are brought before rulers for our believe in Christ, we shouldn’t bother of what to say on our own but the Spirit of God, within us, will teach us what to say, this is my emphasy today, what will the Spirit teach you? Which word is stored in your heart that the spirit will teach you from?
When the devil confronted Jesus, truly, he taught him what to say, by quoting the scriptures, “It is written”. When you lack the word of God within, the Spirit will not be able to teach you. It’s like you speaking Igbo language and i’m speaking Yoruba language, there won’t be communication. Likewise, when we lack the word of God within, when the Spirit speaks, we won’t understand what He says neither will we know what to say. How fervent are you in studying God’s word? The more word of God in you determines the understanding of the voice of the Holy Spirit. I roundup with this verse of the Bible, Joshua 1:8, which says,
“8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.”
Good day and God bless you.

Topic: CHRIST TEACHING 6: Blasphemy The Holy Spirit.

MEMORY VERSE
John 8:32.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

BIBLE READING:
Luke 12:10.
“10. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
Jesus came to the world to put an end to our sins, deliver us from every power of darkness, and show us light and way to God the Father. Cogent reason is for our sins to be forgiven, so blasphemy against Jesus will be forgiven because that was the reason of His death. But to blasphemy against the Holy Spirit of God, is not allowed, because such will not be forgiven. You call yourself Jesus Christ, you may wroth miracle with evil powers, prophesy with the name Jesus and still escape but you don’t crack such jokes with the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit is a gentle and peaceful Spirit but will not allow His personality to be blasphemy. You don’t speak by the spirit when He hasn’t spoken to you. You don’t lie by the Spirit Of God. Acts 5:1-5, Ananias and sapphire lied to Peter not knowing it was a blasphemy to the Holy Spirit and they were struck dead. Many uses the name of God to destroy other’s home in the name of “Thus says the Lord” when he never speaks. The Spirit of God within us will not condole disobedience, fornication and adultery, cheating others and maltreating others, it’s a sin to the Holy Spirit because He’s living in us, walking around with us and leading us in all part. Remember, Jesus has handed us over to the Holy Spirit, John 14:16-17. Let’s strive not to blasphemy the Spirit of God because He won’t forgive us.
Good day and God bless you.
